a functionally adequate room, room was clean. Bed and pillows are not very comfortable. Lots of people talking in the hallways. The curtain is the exact size of the window and about 10\" away from the window so the very bright lights from the parking area illuminate the room. Bring a sleep mask and ear plugs. The breakfast area is really small and only has 2 tables for eating so there's no room if there are already other guests eating. All the room keys stopped working in the morning, so I made my breakfast, went back to the room juggling it all, had to come back down where the guy at the front desk told me all the room keys stopped working. Too bad he didn't tell me that when I interacted with him while I was making my bagel. Had to get a new key made and juggle my breakfast while going back up to the room a second time. Would not stay here again.

My family and I traveled from NY to PA for a worship concert.
Our short stay with this Super 8 Hotel in Burnham was excellent.
We arrived about an hour before check-in and Kathryn (I think that is her name) was friendly and accommodating. She said there may be two rooms ready, and went to check. When we checked out the next morning, she apologized that we had to wait a bit to get into our rooms,
yet we arrived much earlier than the check-in time.
Although we did not take advantage of any enmities, our rooms were clean, the parking was easily accessible, and the beds were comfortable.

The rooms were very clean and nicely redecorated. It was very quiet even with all the construction crews staying there. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. I would definitely stay there again. The only downside we saw was all 3 of the handicapped parking was being used by vehicles without handicapped tags. When we mentioned this to the desk clerk only 1 vehicle was moved. This is disrespectful to those who need those spaces.

I needed a handicap room due to a recent ankle surgery and am still not weight bearing . I use a knee scooter. Upon entering the shower to use the shower chair I noticed that it was broken ( the back was broken off where the metal met the chair ) I had to stand on one foot to shower as best as I could , holding on and trying to shower. Later , I asked the front desk for another one or take it from another room. They had no replacement and subsequently ordered one ( from Lowe’s down the street ) instead of just picking it up they had it delivered, which would not arrive in time for my departure. The girl at the front desk was very apologetic and stated they would ask about compensation as I I could not shower the next morning . The next morning upon check out when talking to the manager she insinuated that I broke it . “ I inspect everything every day”. I find that hard to believe since she doesn’t work 7 days a week. I informed her this was a ADA violation. I had to use wipes to clean up. No compensation and I got an attitude. Also when we checked in the temperature was 54 degrees inside the room . Why not at least put the thermostat/ heater on for incoming guests . The place was clean but the whole ADA/ managers attitude issue turned me off.

Each staff member was very, very courteous! They replaced a weak, falling down ironing board immediately.

One negative: before our arrival, a used towel had been left hanging in the bathroom, behind the door.

Hardly call it breakfast! Lovely photos on booking site. Booked the room based on being able to get the nice breakfast advertised. Zero protein items offered! Not even cold water. Great place for PSU Football games

Fantastic stop after a PSU football game. Out of town guest for a game and found this to be the place we would stay at again any time we came back for another game. It is a bit of an older building, but it was clean and you could tell they keep up on maintenance. The game ended after midnight and took well over an hour to get out of the stadium. Sheila working at the front desk was wonderful and was very friendly with several people waiting to check in after 2am. We also appreciate the firm bed and pillows along with a nice quiet room.

Drove 4 hours to PSU game, couldn't get early check in so asked to use the bathroom and were told NO, a few times, even after restating we had a room reservation. One bed had a prominent dirt mark on the sheets (were they replaced after last stay?), two bugs in the bathroom, and an uncleaned tub...all for the bargain price of $329. Not a good experience, at all.

Our room was dirty for sure, I wouldn’t even shower the bathroom was absolutely gross! I slept on top of my own personal blanket on the bed. The people above were so loud at all hours so no sleep was gotten! My kids are exhausted due to no sleep! It’s the only hotel near where we needed to be or we would have left! Also my van was attempted to be broken into and my side door no longer works and it was just fine when we checked in!

Very nice hotel, all new and very clean. Staff very helpful and courteous.
Two things - they will not service the room unless you ask. That went away in 2021.
Second thing, a $3.50 service fee for each night was charged on the last night in the middle of the night. Was told it is a \"new fee from Wyndham that we were not made aware of in advance.\" Bad business practice from Wyndham.

Super eight in Lewiston Burnham was a fine place to stay for our two night visit to the area. The property is definitely dated and could use a little renovation. Perfectly functional, but a couple of things just warrant as good as they could have been. For example: the bathroom door didn’t close. And the shower curtain rod Was hanging on by a thread. For a little over 150 a night I would’ve expected a little bit better.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this Super 8. Historically this brand of hotel is a 1 star. It was definitely a 5 out of 5 for me. Clean, bright, awesome staff, very comfortable bed, good size room. My only complaint would be the shower chair, it was not stable or suitable fir a large handicapped person. I will always stay here when I’m in the area working.

We left in one hour after arriving. Kinky hair in several spots on both beds plus candy on the floor. Switched rooms, 2nd room also had hair on both beds and pillows. Insufficient cleaning standards. We arrived at 9pm after several hours of driving just looking for sleep. We couldn’t stay one night, we were grossed out!

For me this was very convenient as it was right off the road. Room was nice and clean, plenty of wall outlets, heat and air worked as it should, large TV and the room had been recently updated. At night the area was mostly quiet but in the morning when the traffic picked up it was a little noisier. If you don't want noise or you want to sleep in ask for one of the rooms on the back side of the hotel. For us it was a none issue. I would stay again if I'm in the area. Thought it was a good value for the money!
