Everything was clean and neat and tidy.
The Edge Cafe is fantastic with a large range of great quality food and drinks.

Where to stay if you're flying out of BKK

Excellent service from picking us up from the ARL station to checking in at reception. The cafe/bar was fine, the 1 bedroom apt. Was lovely with a nice balcony and the pool was perfect.

Positives: Beautiful entryway, pristine pool, steam rooms, full gym overlooking pool, kind reception and staff, large rooms, clean property, daily housekeeping, excellent breakfast.

Drawbacks: Zero walkability to anything you'd want to do in Bangkok. I woke up in the middle of the night a couple of times during my stay because the room was slightly shaking, but I'm not sure why - it felt as if there was a tiny earthquake happening, but perhaps it was the effects of the train about a mile away. Not sure, but if you are a light sleeper, this may be something to consider.

All the staff were eagerly accommodating in solving the problems... There were issues of mold contamination in a few of the rooms we were presented with on our arrival but luckily there was a room that was ok after they changed the moldy shower curtain. I appreciated all the staff including the dietary group who cooked very delicious Thai food.

A shameful establishment. My daughter had a football tournament in Bangkok this past weekend - due to the coronavirus situation in Asia, the tournament was cancelled and travel was impossible. I had booked a room for two nights for her and my wife. Attempts to contact the hotel repeatedly about this 10 days prior were fruitless - they kept deflecting inquiries by saying the manager was not available. Now they refuse to even consider a refund, after the weekend has passed. Shame on this hotel for failing to accommodate travellers affected by this current situation. Avoid.

Great quality for the cost

We stayed here before flying out of BKK. It was close to the Hua Mak station, so getting to the airport was cheap and easy.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The pool was also clean. The buffet breakfast had a good combination of Asian and Western options.

Did not feel like a 4 star hotel, the pictures are a facade. The room seems run down with visible cracks on the walls and rust in the basin. Floor is rather sticky. Although it is pretty near the train station, it still takes a 5min walk and the hotel is rather secluded, so the walk to and fro in the night is dangerous.

On one night, heater was down and hence we called the receptionist for assistance. He told us that he will check and call us back but did not do so. When we called the receptionist back, he said he couldn’t contact the engineer because it was late and we had to deal with the cold water. Disappointed at the bad service as they did not bother to update us after saying he will do so. Also, he did not even ask for our room number so that he can call back to check on our heater the next day.

On another day, we called for room service for toilet paper and they said they will inform the house keeping. After waiting for a good 20min, there were no response. We decided to go take it from the receptionist and she said she did not receive any instructions? This reflects yet another example of poor service.

Checking out took very very long even though there were no one else in line. Receptionist said it will only take 5min and told us to take a seat and will get back to us when it is done. Waited for 30 mins and decided to check with her. She was just chilling at the counter and replied with \"oh it is done\". So we waited so long for nothing?

Will not return for sure.

Overall a nice hotel

The hotel was good, close to the train station. A few things to note if you consider booking here:

- there was no safe in the room
- there was no warm or hot water in our apartment
- our apartment came with a ktichen, so we assumed there would be kitchenware but we had to request these separately and it was a bit of a mission but the staff were lovely
- the pool was beautifful
- there was a vegan burger on the menu, which was nice, but not sure if the mayonnaise itself was vegan. also, the prices do not include tax or a 10% service charge (you may also be expected to tip on top of that, so it ends up being quite expensive to order room service)
- The clientele seem to be mainly business people and large groups (at least during our stay). it was quite noisy in the hallway very early in the morning.

Overall, would recommend and would stay there again

The Hotel is located in a very convenient location to catch taxis and the sky train half way between BKK airport and the city. The rooms are huge and the the bathroom is very unique and pleasant. Huge bath tub which is nice and rain fall rain, which unfortunately the water pressure was poor.
The swimming pool is lovely however when sun bathing or just sitting the pool the flys from the swamp next door gets very annoying but not unbearable. The restaurant is good but has limited food choices but its ok if you are there for a day or two.

The outside, lobby, and pool is beautiful. We were in a side building that looks as if it is also used an an apartment? (kitchen inside). The room was filthy. Shower curtain full of mold, tiles cracked and dirty, all crates on drains falling off. We were only there for an airport layover but I would not sacrifice the location for the facilities again.

Facility and location is a bit disappointed. But breakfast is good especially it's started at 6.30 till 10.30.

It was hard to get taxi and most taix drivers don't know where it located.

We had a very bad experience that the driver don't know how to get there. We use Google Maps to help, but it ended up on a different location which is very nearby but it was surrounded by some condos. It was very dark in the middle of the night and managed to get 3 motorcycles to bring us back to hotel.

Like: Hotel has a resort-feel, out of the central and busy areas of Bkk. We are staying in A block and overlook the swimming pool. Dislike: Hotel really need to maintain its upkeep, the floor is sticky and rug is so dirty that I do not dare to walk using my bare feet. Their in-room slippers are not disposables, seems to have been reused several times already.

Excellent Service! Staff is well trained for international guests, speak English and handle any request professionally. Food is delicious and breakfast buffet offers huge variety. Rooms are spacious, with balcony, clean and with comfortable bedding. Great pool area with lounge chairs. Easy access from highway or train. Despite vicinity to highway, the noise is hardly noticeable. Only the daily prayers from mosque are quite loud, but last only a short time. Important to know is that there aren’t any shops or restaurants in the neighborhood but with Grab or Uber everything is easy to reach. It’s ideal for access to BKK. I am a world traveler, stayed at Silver Palm for business due to appointments nearby and will book this hotel again. I had a medical emergency and the staff helped me tremendously during challenging time. Thank you, Silver Palm Team!

I like this hotel as I have stayed there many times. It is fairly convenient to both airports and just about 3 or 4 blocks from the Airlink. The rooms are big and confirtable, the breakfast is very good and the rates are very reasonable. The staff is very nice but at times seem to forget things. You may need to ask several times...

We arrived late and left early in the morning so we didn't have a lot of time to experience the facilities but the staff was very accommodating. The room was big, clean and had everything we needed. The restaurant staff was friendly and the food was good. They even packed us a to go breakfast to take with us to the airport. I would recommend this hotel if you need a place close to the airport. It cost us 145 Baht to take a metered taxi back to airport in the early morning, very cheap!

We spent one night at the hotel primarily because it is close to the BKK airport. It worked out really well since our flight was early in the morning. We had a two bedroom apartment for four of us. It was spacious and It was very convenient to have a kitchenette. The train station is in walking distance making it convenient to go to the city center and airport. All the attractions are 30-45 minutes from the hotel.

While it was convenient and clean, the rooms need upgrading. The staff was helpful and made sure our stay was confortable.

Perfect stopover and a stones throw from railway station which saves a small fortune if you need to catch a flight to or from the hotel. Or jump on a train into the city. Between hotel and train station are a collection of street food venders which we had our last night in Bangkok......fab food at a fraction of a price. Comfortable rooms, pleasant staff with great views. Our room no faults came across. Wifi fast. Pool lovely size. Would defo recommend and stay again

It’s slight away from the central city. Generally takes about 20 mins by cab to city and 1 hour to DMK airport. Nearest station is Hua Mak station which is about 10 min by foot. Accommodation is relatively cheap and comes with free breakfast and wifi. Room is spacious and clean. Aircon is not very cold. Suitable for those who wants to have peace and quiet environment but not suitable to those who wants to go shopping. You may want to prepare your Google map as some taxi drivers may not know the exactly location. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out is fast and smooth.

Great service, very helpful staff . The room was huge with a great balcony just like in the pictures.
The bathroom was very espacious with great fixtures.
Very comfortable king size bed , great working air conditioner.
Going to central Bangkok was very easy due to the train station 5 minutes away. Believe me at 5 pm heading to the hotel and with that not moving anywhere tragic you’ll be glad to catch that train and bypass that traffic mess.

Surprise gem in Bangkok.

What a great gem of a hotel. Conveniently located from the airport and city via local rail links. Clean rooms and spa resort services. It was a definite surprise and ended our holiday on a high. Can not recommend enough. I wasn’t expecting much when I found the hotel. Was looking for somewhere that was near the airport as we had an early morning departure. Was very pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay again. Only minor comment is the walk from the station to the hotel is a strange one but this was very minor.

The room was big and neat but I didn’t have such nice experience. The sink in my room was cracked and they did not clean my room properly on the last night of my stay.

The hotel staff is friendly but because of language problem they booked the wrong car for me and then when I left I asked for the hotel car to take me to the airport and they forgot. So all on all, the hotel is inexpensive so I cannot asked for a lot but I am not that happy

We only stayed at this hotel for 1 night so didn’t really get to know the hotel fully but what we did find was that the staff didn’t inform us of any opening or closing times for the pool, gym, restaurant etc, floor in our room was filthy and asked reception to book us a taxi to the airport and they forgot.

Hotels are nice, modern and cozy. Its location is privacy with easy reach to the store (with a car). However, guests need to be familiar with the area; otherwise, they gonna find themselves driving around blocks and cannot find the place. Staff is nice, helpful and responsive. Will definitely recommended!

Close to BKK intl airport, this hotel offer an excellent value for the price. Staff are well trained and welcomming. Thanks to Jeff, night staff. Breakfest is good. Sheets a very clean. The carpert would need some cleaning. The pool and gym are neet. Some road sign to help incomming taxi would be be welcomed.

Wonderful location. It is close to a train stop for those that wish to commute throughout the city or to the airport. The staff were friendly and the entire place was clean. It has a nice pool and the food was great.

The hotel staff is great, I'll start there. Biggest problem I had was that the room's air condition was already programmed and did not include a fan. The room was a little too warm at night for a good night sleep. There was a \"power\" mode but kept turning off after 30 min.
Also the shower did not drain properly, there was at least 2 in of standing water after a 10 min shower
