Great location. Walked to many restaurants. Loved how it was right on the beach. The pool was never busy and it was not hard to find a chair. The pool could have been cleaned more though. Fernando, at the towel area, was the best! He made our stay so much more enjoyable. Hotel food and drinks were a little pricey, but that’s expected. Closest to the airport so expect to hear planes while outside, but it didn't bother us at all. Overall, great place to stay and we would stay here again.

Stayed 4 days/3 nights for my husband’s bday and overall were disappointed. Hotel was clean, modern and on the beach, but many issues negatively impacted our stay.

First, we were surprised by a $150 incidental fee not disclosed on Expedia. There was also active construction, which was not mentioned on Expedia beforehand. Our 2nd-floor room faced pipes/work areas and workers were outside our balcony at 8am daily, making it difficult to rest. We were woken up twice at 2am and 3am by loud intercom announcements repeating “0-0-0”. We were also placed in a connecting room unknowingly, with a young baby next door, who cried at the night, further causing us to lose sleep.

The beach was beautiful, clean and private. We appreciated the included chairs, umbrellas and towels. However, non-hotel guests were allowed on the private beach. Some played loud music, taking away from the quiet atmosphere we expected.

Service was inconsistent throughout the stay. Housekeeping missed our first 2 days until we called. Staff at outdoor restaurant, Veranda Meso, were often inattentive and service/food availability was inconsistent. The breakfast buffet felt overpriced $36/pers and did not include all advertised items. The cafe closed earlier than posted hours or would not make certain drinks due to time of day on multiple occasions .

For $350/night, we expected better communication, consistency and service. The hotel did not provide the relaxing, restful experience we hoped on our vacation.

We couldnt check in on time. They downgraded our room in order to check in on time, and no compensation for this. They forgot the pack and play we requested and we had to call down 5 separate times to get it. They said they had one and then they didnt. They also had very loud construction going on with sawing during breakfast.

Not worth the price. Pictures are deceiving. Property looks MUCH bigger in photos than what it actually is. Rooms are outdated and smell like an old casino hotel. Locals are able to access the same beach as hotel stayers. Again, not worth the price. It is a lot smaller outside (pool area) then what is portrayed in picture.

My stay was pretty expensive for a hotel that doesn’t really offer much besides the private beach. The hotel was clean and staff were pretty friendly. Room wasn’t cleaned one of my days and seemed like they had an attitude when I requested clean towels to be delivered. That also took several calls and over 45 minutes to be received. I would stay here again though

Restaurant Meso was disappointing. My lettuce had small flies, and even after informing the waiter, there was no discount or real resolution. I definitely recommend going outside the hotel for food instead.

Otherwise, everything else was great. The hotel is very comfortable, accommodating, and easy to navigate. Ubers are also super convenient.

The property is undergoing renovations, so be prepared for some inconveniences and noise.
The staff were wonderful - always pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.
The front desk and pool attendants are stocked with bug spray - take advantage of this!
Apparently Marriott and I had some differences of opinion on what constitutes an oceanfront room. I paid for and expected a full oceanfront room, but got an ocean view room, overlooking a roof. That was very disappointing.

Not good customer service at all not welcome at front desk /breakfast area has to wait for ever the employees looks like not happy to work there and they don’t even look at you. Pool amazing ant the guys works there amazing housekeeping the same and the coffee shop forgot to order there a totally lock of greeting and the girl there horrible and we pay a lot for that reservation an my family we has like 5 rooms all of us same complaint and the guy checking the bracelets at pool kind of rude please take care of this because we love the amenities too sad this time

We had a great stay at Courtyard Isla Verde Beach. There is an early check-in process that allows you to get in the queue for a room prior to standard 4 pm check-in time. While you wait, you can store your luggage and access the amenities. We also had a later flight on check-out day and we stored our bags, continued to use the amenities, and were given access to the fitness center to shower and change before our flight. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. The prices were also very reasonable for food and drinks. The location is very close to the airport so there is noise from airplanes but it did not bother us. The hotel is right on the beach with direct access to the beach with staff to set up free chairs and umbrellas. The pool was nice with shady areas and there is a ping pong table and basketball goal that kept our son busy. The hotel was a short 10 min. walk from a strip of great restaurants. We would stay here again!!

The beach access was so easy. The atmosphere was very lively. The pool was nice, but needed to be cleaned a bit more, had a bit too much sand in the bottom. They had three hot tubs!! The lounge chairs can be updated on the beach. The room was cleaned daily. Staff was very helpful. Daily auto parking key card did not work well.
But overall it was a good stay!!!!!

My room toilet was broken. Hard to find good food. One coffee shop and line was 30 min wait on average just to order. I had asked for conditioner for my room numerous times and was told some would be brought to my room. Never got any. Stayed one night pre cruise. Would not recommend.

Our room was clean and the staff were great. We ate in the fine dining restaurant and did not have the best meal, one of our fish dishes was overdone and hard cut and my son‘s meal was extremely salty. but we had great service and we enjoyed the casino. One concern was the fold out bed and we asked several times for bedding, but did not get any so one of our family members had to sleep on the bare mattress with only a pillow and blanket.

Location was nice, close to airport and walking distance to a few restaurants. Right on the beach, chairs and umbrellas were free. Pool was nice. Hot tub was very nice, too.
We didn’t like the fact that there were no microwaves on the property available to clients, so if you have any leftovers that require heating up don’t even bring them to the hotel. Coffee takes a long time to be prepared at the coffee shop in the lobby. Also the folks working at the coffee shop seem miserable and are not friendly. Minimal cleaning in the room was done by housekeepers. We finished the tissues within the first two days of our stay and they didn’t replenish or bring new tissues.
Food was ok, better options are at local restaurants nearby.
Overall it was an ok stay. Next time we come to PR we will most likely stay somewhere else though.

We enjoyed our stay. Wasn’t sure what to expect from a Courtyard but it was a beautiful property. Lobby was nice, as was the pool and beach. There was a bistro and bar in the lobby, a sit down restaurant and a more casual bar restaurant in addition to the pool/bar. There were food options but we would have preferred a bit more variety at dinner, seems lunch time had more options available.

If you want a great ocean view, book ocean front not ocean view. We had an oceanfront room and the view was great. The room was very nice with comfy beds. Needed more outlets around the bed. We loved our ocean front balcony.

You are right near the airport. You do hear planes when at the beach or pool but it isn’t too bad. I. The room our balcony had a double glass sliding door which helped with noise. The room air conditioner was very loud. I am a light sleeper and I could still sleep but it made us keep tv on loud to hear it and it also drowned out airplane noise.

We would likely stay here again if we are visiting the area again in the future.

Loved our balcony with a table and chairs and a beautiful beach view. Loved sitting for breakfast looking straight out onto the beach. Lounge chairs and umbrellas were readily available.
We had a loud air conditioning unit near our room and the ice machine in our hall didn’t work, but those are the only two minuses. The AC didn’t keep Us awake. And the hotel has huge dispensers of ice water flavored with orange slices all around the lobby, so we didn’t suffer. Would love to stay here again!

We had exceptional service in the pool area bar and Papaya Fernando and Pedro were absolutely fantastic, the first night there though we had a waiter ignore us for about 20 minutes after we sat down to have dinner and a cocktail finally my husband got up and went to the bartender and asked for drinks, then we finally ordered food, my husbands cheeseburger came out and he was finished eating and we were still waiting for my small pizza, we had to ask about the food and if they ordered it for me, I was going to sign up for the Marriott rewards program but this made me think about it and decided not to, we spoke to the manager and they were very kind we are not sure if we will go back

Overall pleased, clean and comfortable. Nice amenities, typicall expensive drinks and food however what we did consume at the resort was very good. On the cons side we arrived at 5pm and initially told our 750 is doller a night room was not yet available. After showing some obvious frustration and unwillingness to walk away the staff was able to find us a clean room we had booked. Also dont plan on a quiet evening in the hot tub or beach, one of the nights we were there the hotel was hosting some sort of large celebration or party on the second floor terrace area. It gets very loud! Luckilly our room was far enough away however we learned from other guests at the hotel that it wasnt a once off thing and had occured several nights of their stay, unfortunately for them they had a room much closer than ours and it impacted their trip quite a bit. Once again very nice hotel, just be aware of the potential for late night loud music if you are trying to relax.

We really enjoyed this boutique little resort. Situated right on the beach, the ocean view rooms with the balconies are the way to go. Plenty of dining options including upscale menu at night and the food was excellent. The quiet vibe was appreciated and there was always a place at the pool. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Did not see the fine print on the Resort Fee of $45/day. You are right by the airport runway and will hear the planes take off from the pool and beach, but not the ocean facing rooms. As an aviation geek, I found it fun to track where the planes were headed.

Rude service. One specific waiter behaved rude and wrongly did unjustified complained about not tipping well. Checked into half remodeled suite to start with - hassle of room change. Friends traveled with us - their kid was bitten by bed-bugs and the staff made lot of drama to move them with kids stranded and scared to lay on bed. Dinner fine dining restaurant was good. Table tennis board was fun. The gym equipments were Ok. The entertainment staffs were fun.
