The pool was closed and under major renovations. We should have been informed of this when making our reservation as it was a major feature for my 12-year-old daughter. The front desk staff was nice except for the evening clerk around 7PM Saturday. I had lost my wedding ring there and reported it Saturday morning, (to a very nice lady). When I asked about it Saturday evening, the clerk, who introduced herself as the Night Auditor, could not have been any ruder. And then immediately went back to watching something on her phone or iPad.

Weird eggs. Room was kind of cramped - we had requested a cot, which was not set up, but turns out we didn’t need it - but don’t know where they would have put it. Luckily the desk caught that we had been billed for a cot and removed it. Toilet clogged, but no maintence staff, bu they did bring us a plunger. Great parking. Burger King and KFC down the street. We’d stay here again for the convenience and location.

The rooms we rented were on the third floor and looked like they could use some TLC. We had a couple of issues and they were addressed immediately.
Amanda and Debbie at the desk are wonderful. We have been staying here for a sister's weekend for over 20 years and Amanda has been there almost as long. We love both her and Debbie.
That being said, the third person there is extremely unfriendly. She is lacking in any customer service skills. A friendly smile and attitude would go a long way. She was there last year when we were there and both years she made us feel very unwelcome. Its come to the point where we are considering changing hotels for our weekend. As much as we love Debbie and Amanda , we are weighing whether dealing with her is worth it.
We also would have liked a heads up that the pool was going to be totally torn up.

Hotel had construction happening so it was loud, not their fault but definitely not a relaxing experience when there were no warnings and plenty of other options of a place to stay. Staff was polite outside of checking when they seemed a bit irritated and over their days, just ready to go home.

The room wad clean. The hotel is under renovation so hopefully it will include the rooms. The sink faucets were leaking when in use. We notified the front desk of thst issue but it didn't create sn issue while we were there. One morning during a shower, the wash cloth turned blue which gave major concern because I have sensitive skin. We talked to the manager as we were leaving for the day and she said that they had just had a water treatment so the soap & water combo caused the reaction. When we returned, there were no further issues. Breakfast was the traditional items, waffle maker, toaster, & cold cereals, etc. The lady taking care to keep everything stocked did a fabulous job. We would stay here again even with the hiccups we had.

The breakfast and all day coffee were lovely. Our room was next the elevator however and it was very loud and hard to sleep. They are renovating I hope they update their mattresses as it was so uncomfortable we ached every day and were happy to get home to our own bed.

Large and comfortable room. Decor and fittings are pretty dated. The dresser drawer kept opening by itself which mean the room was either haunted or the floor wasn’t level. Decent breakfast with a waffle maker. Area isn’t walkable but it’s a short drive to the concord bars and restaurants.

I only gave it a 4 because the POOL AREA is undergoing a MAJOR RENNO. It looks like some serious money is being spent to upgrade the pool and surrounding area. THAT IS THE ONLY REASON THEY DID NOT GET A 5 ON PROPERTY and AREA RATINGS. Otherwise a solid 5 as the property is well manicured and kept.

The hotel is going through a significant renovation. It would have been nice to know that in advance. The workers took up all the parking spaces and filled the breakfast room every morning. The pool was closed and the soda machines credit card interface did not work on any machine. Has I known this was the case I would not have booked the hotel.

The staff were excellent. The property is outdated. The head of my bed was lower than my feet. Maintenance came up to fix bathroom door that wouldn’t close all the way and said they’d fix bed, but it was the same on the second night. Coffee was horrible and breakfast had few healthy options, so we went out. We won’t come back.

From the moment I walked in a Girl I for got my name but manager knows after I complained 3 times about her rudeness and disrespectful and poor customer interaction. I would like a call back from hotel owner. She was hiding almost when I walked in talking on the phone and as soon as she saw me she went around the corner to the back and I had to yell hello and she was so irritated and she had some risky loss prevention behavior. The only things wrong with my room were a hole in the ceiling, above the shower head and mold around the bottom of the shower doors. Other than that, it was all good!! Will i stay here again??? Yes, the staff are nice and friendly.

Check in lady had the worst attitude and didnt make check in pleasant ! Then they kicked our dogs out of the hotel and endangering their safety while we were out to dinner. No phone call! This has been the worst hotel experience we have had ever had!!! From how they spoke to us to how they handle any situation- unprofessional! We left and only was at the hotel for less than 4 hours! We had booked two nights and paid the dog fee! No refunds! When they are at fault for their misconduct and cruelty to our animals! Never returning!

The Concord Inn staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The hotel is spotless. Unfortunately the pool is being renovated so it was closed and the only treadmill in the small gym was broken, although they did offer to set me up with the gym in the neighboring hotel.
The area is a mix of residential and commercial. And while I never felt unsafe, there do seem to be a few sketchy people who wander up and down the street.
But, all in all, a very good stay at a very reasonable price.

First was given a double when I booked a king, no big deal. Was moved to a room directly next to the elevator, extremely loud….front desk was very accommodating when I asked to change again. Third room was hot with a non-working fan and smelled of urine. Front desk was amazing and switched me again; this time to a much quieter room where I was able to rest for the remainder of my stay.

The location is convenient, the staff at the desk very friendly and helpful, the lobby is lovely. But there is a high stone curb all around the entrance to the lobby, so if you have a bag with wheels you have to hoist it up to get to the lobby entrance. Or maybe walk all the way around to the handicapped parking spots, maybe the curb there is adapted.
The rest of the building is stuffy and lacks ventilation, everything is brown, dirty and threadbare.
The bathroom in the room I was given had black hairs in the sink, on the floor and in the shower, from various parts of the human anatomy. There was a dirty old cleaning rag left behind in the shower soap dish.
The in-room air conditioner had a mind of its own, varied wildly in temperature, and sounded like I was sharing the room with a leaf blower.
Fortunately I travel with disinfecting supplies and thick cotton socks in case of such problems. My exhaustion and commitments in NH did not allow for switching room, which I would have done but I unpacked first and then looked at the bathroom.
The window in the room doesn't lock when you close it, and slid down and open at one point.
Bed OK, pillows too soft and really lumpy.
Overall I would say that the 8 weeks and money that they are spending on repairing the pool at the hotel would be MUCH better spent on a big detailed cleaning of every inch not in the lobby, and on improved ventilation in the halls on all floors and in the oppressive elevator.

When I arrived at the Comfort Inn, located in Concord, New Hampshire, I was greeted by a receptionist with an attitude. I had a long drive and I really didn’t need that! A pleasant greeting would have been nice. The pool was closed for renovation. I specifically wanted the amenity of a pool. The receptionist said she’d give me a discount because the pool was closed. That didn’t happen. Breakfast was complementary but meager. The room was nice. The king bed was comfortable. A big screen TV, coffee maker, microwave and fridge. I liked the walk-in shower. The hotel was clean and quiet. Easy parking. Good downtown location. Reasonable price. But I don’t think I’ll book the Concord, New Hampshire Comfort Inn again. I was really turned off by the reception I got at the front desk.
