Room is not sound proof so you can hear your neighbours like they are in the room with you, and there was a wedding on so the music and speeches sounded like they were in your room until 1:30am. Contact hotel directly as hotel unresponsive via hotels.com app.

Beautiful place for a family stay. The room is a lovely villa overlooking a small artificial lake, and breakfast was served directly to the room in its own cozy dining area. The recreational areas are excellent, including a charming horse area that adds a special touch to the experience.

I was not notified of a horrible techno music festival taking place directly outside my room. From around 8 pm, until 2 am on the morning of December 22, my entire room was shaking from the loud bass. The music is so loud that even with ear plugs I was unable to sleep. The hotel or Expedia should have notified me of this and I will be expecting a refund. To anyone reading this, it is hard to describe how loud the music is, perhaps if I went to bed behind the speakers at my local techno nightclub, I might have a similarly awful experience. I was simply looking for a quiet weekend at a polo resort which promised a unique experience. Instead I suffering through a sleepless night that I am paying for. This is without question the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I cannot express what a terrible experience this has been.

This place is next level! We booked it as we had 1 night in Quito before flying back to the UK and it was superb. The staff could not have been more helpful & the facilities were top notch. Our room was immaculate & we had a balcony on the lake where we saw so much wildlife including some quite rare birds. We were able to check out late & use the facilities until we needed to head to the airport and we had a wonderful relaxed afternoon by the outdoor pool. The food and drinks were delicious. A glorious setting and the perfect relaxing end to an amazing holiday.

Las Palmas is mostly a polo club. They host massive events. I wished they had let us know that they were hosting a massive party the day of or arrival, we spent an hour sitting in traffic trying to access the property. The property is located in a rural area, that can only be accessed through a narrow street.
When they host these events there is massive congestion. It took us longer to get to the hotel than to fly from Cuenca to Quito. Terrible experience. The music was loud and we could hear it in our room. The rooms are spacious but don’t have blackouts curtains.
The front desk was very apologetic but it was clear they didn’t think through how hosting a massive event would impact their regular customers.

What a beautiful property, we'll definitely stay again. We were staying here for one night between flights so unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the grounds. We stayed in the largest garden suite and it was so beautiful and clean. We really enjoyed the shower and the bed was quite comfortable. We had a lovely dinner in their restaurant, which was open until 8pm. The staff was so helpful and got us set up with a ride back to the airport and a little to-go breakfast.

This property is a part of a polo club, the views from the rooms are the fields. You can walk by the stables and watch the riders practice their dressage skills. The guest rooms are bright, airy and beautifully designed, they are truly exceptional. The dining room is lovely and always filled with fresh flowers. There is a brand new pool in addition to the 2 small pools by the dining room.
Our disappointment was with the dining service. The food was good quality, but not prepared well on more than one occasion. Our salmon and steak were sadly undercooked and other issues persisted at other meals. I am sure they are working to improve this. If we have the opportunity to visit Quito again, we would return to La Palma without hesitation.

My only regret about La Palma Polo Club is that we were only able to stay one night. It was our stop on our way to the Galapagos, but it's such a special and beautiful place that I could spend an entire vacation relaxing there. On top of everything, the hospitality was unbelievable.

Unique stay in Quito if you like nature, outdoor activities, and quietness. Rooms are beautifully finished and the staff is amazing with the guests. They have a small lounge, dinner/bar area, and pool for guests to use. Maybe they need an additional communal area? Perhaps a fire pit and more outdoor seating. They do have an amazing event space that if not used can become part of the guest experience.

Lovely spot great feeling of countryside and fresh air. Lovely grounds you can go to the stables and pet the horses. They have two pools a warm and a cool. The restaurant is amazing lovely local dishes they make from scratch, the. Cook ran out to the garden and picked the lettuce and herbs once we ordered and Brian the bartender made the best Gin and tonic ever, prepared at your table, he offered lots of different choices, I had lime and fresh ginger grated into mine and Chy had cardamom and orange freshly ground and added superb.

This place is amazing! What a hidden gem. It is pretty far from Quito, but we used it as a place to stay the night we got in and the night before we left. Both times, the hotel arranged a free shuttle to pick us up and take us to the airport (at ungodly hours). The food was great, the service was better and the property was so pretty. it was the perfect start and end to our trip.

Much more than a hotel

I have traveled a lot around the world over two decades, including in many top hotels, and this one is in my top five—and surely number one in terms of quality to price ratio. In fact it is far more than a hotel, it is a club built on an immense property that has been around for 100 and simply happens to have rooms. It had a (super) heated swimming pool, clay tennis courts, huge grass fields where kids can play any game including soccer, it’s maintenance is top notch, food is excellent and staff are simply fantastic and make you feel at home (well, it really feels like a club). Don’t hesitate just book!!!

Your site said hotel was 2.5 miles away from airport which was false. This hotel was about 40 minutes away and when we arrived there was no person there to check us in. We had to take taxi 40 minutes back to airport and pay for another hotel.
Please refund back my money as I did not check in or stay at this place.

The property is beautiful. The rooms are post and beam with lots of natural lighting. The restaurant serves delicious food and it was no problem for them to provide gluten free food from their high quality ingredients. I have Celiac diesaese and the food was no problem. The staff all go out of their way to accommodate their guests. We arrived late at night and were warmly welcomed.
The atmosphere is one of relaxation and enjoying nature.

I cannot say enough positive things about the Quito Polo club. I loved exploring the grounds there are polo fields, two pools, an open-air restaurant, clay tennis courts, and endless places to walk and explore. The Polo Club is close to both downtown Quito and the airport making it a convenient place to stay if you are looking to relax and avoid some of the craziness of downtown Quito. The manager was able to organize a driver, Jimmy, to take us to Mindo for a day. The price of hiring a driver was the same as a group tour, and we were able to customize what we did completely.

The only bad thing was that I had to leave early the next morning and didn't get to fully experience this lovely property.

Quito Polo Club is stunning! We were travelling with our 2 year old daughter and felt we we were home. Their facilities are outstanding, not only for adults but also for little ones. What a wonderful experience we had at Quito Polo. It is quiet and modern; peaceful yet stylish. The people made the experience, however. They kept the restaurant open late when we arrived and made everything by hand- soups, juices and even the empanadas. Then they awoke early at 4:30am to deliver us boxed breakfasts for our 6:00am flight. Above and beyond service! This is a gem of a find.

We were looking for something different for an overnight stay between flights in Quito and we certainly found it here. The hotel sent a car to collect us which was great service and given the remote location of the hotel very necessary.
It is almost not like a hotel as you are staying in the old polo club and it has a rural feel with extensive gardens where the rooms are located. The rooms are high ceiling with sliding picture window/doors which gives a very open and public feel which may not be to everyone's taste. The suite we had was huge and comfortable and very clean.
My issues with the place are the lack of written information. There is no pack in the room so wifi codes, tv operation, meal and check out times have to be asked for or worked out for yourself. Similarly there are no menus or bar menus so you have no idea what is on offer without asking or what price you are paying.
Overall a good place to stay if you are looking for something a bit different from the standard airport hotel package.

Property is located about 30/40mns from the airport depending on traffic.
The road to get there isn’t the most enjoyable but when you get to the property is a real WOUAH! It remained me of a Little cottage in Normandie France.
First building is the reception, second Open building is the restaurant then the Rooms and Suites are located little further. Loved the details in the rooms very elegant, modern and well decorated.
I even found a hair dryer lol
The Chef is amazing, dine at the restaurant you will be delighted!
Ana, Erika were very pleasant and assisted us with airport transfers, day tour of Quito.
Jerry the Manager came to introduce himself and to say bye on the day of our departure.
I would highly recommend this property for the quietness, the elegance of the property (I would suggest to add some bricks pathway to avoid rolling our luggage in the grass o. Rainy day), the Gourmet Chef!
We enjoyed our stay very much and feel at home

Smaller property with great potential.

Getting to the property was interesting. You had to wind through a local neighborhood before turning into a bumpy cobble stone road. The property was difficult to find in the dark as the property has no lights. The property once we arrived was very quaint. Room was clean with floor to ceiling glass walls. Service was good too as after we got settled we sat for some wine. Since we were a group with many vegetarians, dinner on the property was not an option. The chef did offer to make something which was great but we chose to order pizza instead. The front desk was very helpful is helping us order pizza, staff gave us dinner ware as well. Next day we were off property for most of the day. We did speak with the property manager and chef to coordinate dinner. Chef prepared a scrumptious vegetarian meal and was fantastic. Rates with some of the finer 4&5 star restaurants I’ve eaten at before.

Beautiful with modern aesthetic. Cathedral ceilings in rooms and bathroom. Floor to ceiling glass walls bring your room outdoors with modern comforts. Heated pool and kids' unheated pool is a plus. Food was deliciously prepared (Breakfast included) - the pasta was excellent. Our stay was comfortable and just what we needed to relax and unwind. Please note that due to the location near the airport, you can hear the planes land/take off - but it's not very frequent we would hear it.

The Polo Boutique Hotel is an unexpected find. Tucked away in a small town between the airport and Quito, it's an ideal getaway, but convenient. Great views and grounds on a former polo club. We loved how bright and open the rooms are. Also Juan Carlos, the manager, was very accommodating and helpful with tips on what to do in Quito. The staff is very focused on quality service. And the chef is top notch. Locally sourced ingredients, expertly prepared. If you're a foodie, you'd love it. We highly recommend a stay here.
