Comfort room was fab, really clean and modern, staff were fantastic, Fabrizo on reception was warm, welcoming and informative. The ladies looking after the breakfast room were polite and kept everything running very smoothly. Parking was easy, safe and plentiful. We had a wonderful stay thank you.

Good parking. Short-ish walk to the main town centre, bars, restaurants and the evening market. Decent options for breakfast, cured meats, scrambled eggs, cereals, fruits, etc. A good range of lunch options, too. Bar service was very good although it did close at 23:00. You need to be in town for drinks any later than that. There is a shuttle bus available to the local beach which is beautiful with crystal clear waters. See photo for the schedule that applied when we visited in Aug '25. There is a good sized pool when you'd rather not get sand between your toes. Lifeguard is on duty for the majority of the day. He does have a day or two off over the week though (quite rightly).

The staff at Terradimare were wonderful. Very helpful and accommodating. Location is just a short walk to San Teodoro and super convenient to a market. The pool was lovely. We had a small issue with our room and it was rectified immediately. If in the area I would definitely stay at Terradimare again.

I paid $550 for one night. I understand it was a last minute booking, but the mattress was extremely uncomfortable.
I won’t go into detail about the room itself, which felt outdated for the price. However, for $550 a night, I at least expect a comfortable bed with quality pillows and a decent mattress.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, which I appreciated.

The place was great! Staff were helpful and friendly. The place was clean, comfortable and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious, Only a short walk to town. Also, it’s in a great location for some amazing beaches. Id say hire a car so you can properly explore the island.

Really, relaxed hotel with a pool in a quiet location but within a 10 minute walk of the centre of San Teodoro which has a host of restaurants, shops, stalls and bars.
The rooms are spread out and no more than 2 story’s tall.

This was an amazing find. My 13 year old daughter and I stayed here. Just beautiful. The town is walkable and so hip and cool. The busses took us to the most amazing beaches. Highly recommend!

You only receive 1 room key so when you leave the room
Everything switches off so you are unable to charge any items whilst away from room ,
Don’t loose your pool towel ticket or there’s a charge of 30euro, if you wish to use the spa facilities another charge of 30e.
Check in 3.00 am check out 10.00 am
No evening restaurant facilities.
This is quite a expensive hotel to begin with .

Very nice hotel. We loved the swimming pool!
Free parking. You can park right in front of reception and rooms. Super easy to walk around. Walking distance to the town centre but in a quiet street.

Really lovely, quite simple rooms but everything you need including a fridge. The AC works really well which was great. It's not really walking distance too beach but is only 10 mins walk from the town (which is small by the way) There is a lovely big pool with lots of seats, we were then end of sept so nice and quiet but still nice and warm. Really good price which included breakfast too.

Very good hotel but not over the top

The hotel was nice and very clean, staff also very nice. But we emailed them in advance and told them it's for your honeymoon and they replied saying that they were aware now. When we arrived, there was no welcoming in the room or even a congratulations from the staff. So don't stay here if it's your honeymoon, other than that it was a good hotel.

Lovely hotel in a great location, great service from all staff we met, and very close to La Cinta beach and to the town for bars and restaurants. Some background music would be nice in common areas, it was a little dull atmosphere around the pool and at breakfast, but otherwise great place.

Beautifuly located loves walking to the beach

Really enjoyed our stay here! Spent 2 weeks at the hotel & felt really relaxed! Rooms cleaned every day and staff were welcoming and helpful. Walk to the beach is about 30 minutes but they do provide a free shuttle during the season. We actually went out of season and walked every day & loved the walk! It was the best part & you get to see the town! La Cinta beach is just beautiful, we walked up & down the beach everyday! SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO STAY and breakfast was the best! Amazing location! If I had to say anything i’d add that the beds and pillows were a little uncomfortable for us but in all fairness everything else was 10/10! Perfecto! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing staff make this a great place to stay

We stayed in an apartment rather than a hotel room and found it comfortable and convenient. The hotel facilities were great but where Terra Di Mare stands out is with its staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them during our stay - they helped us organise sightseeing trips as we were visiting the area during low season and also advised us on local travel options as, due to a fault by Expedia, we were led to believe there was a free shuttle service operating from the hotel. Unfortunately, this was only available at high season and had been stopped weeks before our trip. We were quite frustrated by this at first - especially as Expedia failed to respond to our message of complaint and the booking was non-refundable. Luckily, the staff at Terra Di Mare came through for us and gave us complimentary bicycle hire for our entire stay - something which would have normally cost about €70. They also provided tips on getting around the area by bike and helped us find our way to some great spots. I cannot recommend them or thank them for their generosity enough. The fault in advertising was caused by Expedia, not them, yet they went above and beyond to fix it for us and ensure we had a five star stay.

Room was simple but enough. Cleaned every day to a high standard.
Fantastic air-con too.

Breakfast was fabulous, good choices and very tasty. We looked forward to it every morning.

5 minute walk to super market, 10 minutes to bus stop, 20/30 minutes to beach.

The thing that makes this hotel had to be the staff.....so so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and seemed very genuine.

Clean and quite comfortable, outside areas very nice, swimming pool a good size but not heated, (the sea was warmer). Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast nothing special but did the job. Very few visitors from the uk, mostly people kept themselves to themselves.
Beaches lovely about 30-35 minutes walk to 2 of them.

Lovely hotel situated on a quiet road but only a 10 minute walk to the centre of San teodoro. My boyfriend and I didn't have a car but used the beach bus to explore all the beaches and also rented bicycles from the hotel. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotless and the selection at breakfast was really good. The town of San teodoro is quiet during the day but comes alive at night. It's probably best to rent a car if you want to explore further afield. Overall we had a great, relaxing 5 night break, the beaches of San teodoro are breathtaking, looks like the Caribbean.

Great breakfast buffet and wonderful spa treatments at reasonable prices!! The service is impeccable and the rooms are cleaned very well. The location is perfect, close by to restaurants and center of town, 15-20 minute walking to the beach (La Cinta) or 10-15 minute to downtown. It would be a 5-10 minute drive to La Cinta and the other beaches are very close as well.

Lovely hotel - All you Could Ask For

This hotel is just about all you can ask for if you want a relaxing holiday. Modern, spotlessly clean with highly efficient and wonderfully friendly staff. The pool is an excellent size and maintained to the highest standndard. The front desk staff and especially the barman are keen to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

The guests represented a multitute of nationalities and there were more children staying than we had expected, but all very well behaved, giving nice international family feel to the hotel. The clever layout maintained privicy and there were no noise issues.

The walk into the village is 10 minutes which is great in the cool of the evening. San Teodoro itself has a really good selection of restaurants and the extensive night market (every evening) gives it a real buzz, without being loud or intrusive. The resort appreciates tourists and the local people are friendly and polite.

The beaches are spectacular and so extensive that they are never over-crowded.

Terradimare Resort & Spa excellent location, very clean, very accommodating and friendly staff, transfer took about 20 mins from olbia airport, accommodation is in blocks dotted around the resort, quiet and peaceful,
about 10 mins walk from Terradimare Resort & Spa there is a handy supermarket
the centre is full of places to eat, people are lovely and helpful,
personally I think an understanding of Italian would be useful but not an issue
La Cinta beach is FABULOUS plenty of long sandy beach for everyone, hire sun bed x 2 parasols cost depends on duration of stay
AMAZING place we really enjoyed it and will definitely visit again

The hotel is very nice and super clean. Staff very friendly and nice pool area. The only complaint is that the wifi really doesn't work. It doesn't work at all in the rooms and you can get a patchy signal in the reception area. They really need to sort this out.

My fiancée and I had a lovely stay at this hotel in mid-late sept. The staff are professional and friendly and the hotel is nice with a great pool. We were upgraded to a family room which was huge, very clean and had a massive balcony. The hotel, pool and room were kept immensely clean all week. There are spa facilities there but we didn't get around to using them as the nearby beautiful beaches are to much of a draw. Breakfast was included and was tasty with the usual continental plus scrambled egg and bacon. Maybe during the week a different type of egg or pancakes would be nice but that's just a small thing, it was fine. Shuttle bus from the hotel to La Cinta beach is very useful. The walk to town is 10 mins and more like 20 to the beach. We hired a car so we could drive 15 mins to some further stunning beaches. Was a good idea and cheaper than the transfer! Only gripe at the hotel was poor wifi but your on holiday afterall!!

The staff are very helpful and friendly and we were made to feel special.

Our rooms were cleaned everyday to high standard and we received clean towels and bedding.

Our bartender Andrea was excellent and so was Alex.

The staff made our experience at the hotel so very special.

The beaches were beautiful but we were pested my Africans selling their goods at times it was very annoying. This should be controlled as people will not visit the island again. And we did love Sardina and found some great places to visit, you do need a car.

If you do rent a car make sure when parking you update the clock on the windscreen of the time of your arrival. If you park in a bay with limited time allowed. We were not told of the clock and received a fine. We returned before the hour allowed and told the attendent we were not aware of the clock, but we still had to pay the fine of 30 euros at the local post office. This took about 40 minutes on a very hot day not a good experience.

A Brilliant Getaway!

We stayed in one of the apartments and have to say we loved it! It was kept very clean and provided all of the basics including kitchen equipment. The hotel staff were lovely and very helpful providing us with maps and recommendations as to where to eat etc. It was great that it was an easy 10/15 minute walk into the town centre, there was an option to get a free bus to the beach but I would highly recommend renting bikes from the hotel instead. The spa was lovely, just wish I had booked in advance for an actual massage! There's no need to book a taxi to and from the airport as there is a cheap bus that gets you there. No faults at all!

A welcome relaxing break

My partner arrived to the hotel with no issues having driven down from Olbia airport. Parking was available, checking in was very straightforward and we were very pleased with the look, lay out and style of the hotel.
The staff were very accommodating and keen to impart their local knowledge of the area. The pool was great with towels and plenty of sun loungers available.
The room was on the ground floor with plenty of space and a memory foam mattress queen sized bed, a big change from the usual singles pushed together!
The hotel is well placed with a ten minute walk to the pedestrianized town of an evening passing a supermarket on the way. The town is very pleasant with lots going on and plenty of shops and restaurants.
San Teodoro is 35-40° in August and is pretty busy especially La Cinta, well worth having a rental car to travel out to the various other local beaches.

Good Stuff!!!

Pool is fabulous but we prefer the beach so only spent the later part of the day in it, free are issued by the life guard when you give him your ticket (these are provided by reception when you check in) be careful though, if you lose the ticket or the towel it will cost you €30! There is a 30 min walk or free shuttle bus to Cinta Beach which is beautiful but it is so busy! We preferred Cala Ambra/Il Impontu Beach which can be reached by the bus, really beautiful and a bit more room. They were really helpful on our last day as our flight was late but we had to check out, they provided room for our cases and there are nice clean showers by the pool for you to use. One tip, if you are sorting your own transfers, a taxi from the airport to the hotel cost us €80 but one the way back we caught the bus (5 min walk around the corner) which cost us €2.50 each, bit of a difference! Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely return or recommend to others.

Hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful and we're happy for us to check out late given that the hotel was quiet. A great place!

A beautiful unspoiled location with a warm welcome

We had a lovely stay and were very impressed with the wonderful staff. The spa facilities are really good and the pool very clean. The bar man Simone was always smiling and happy to chat, and the warm welcome from the very helpful and hospitable locals made our holiday. La Cinta beach has breathtaking scenery, clear blue green waters, kite surfers to watch and delicious food at BluBistro, with homemade focaccia and fresh salads. The beach was white sands, happy families and couples and enjoyed by the young and old. A fantastic location and the town square has lots of restaurants and bars and many supermarkets with lots of local produce. San Theodora is a wonderful place and the hotel staff make it a relaxing, memorable and so good we are going back next year :)

I stayed here for my last 2 nights in Sardinia prior to returning home, so I wanted a little luxury after back packing and staying in B&B's, hostels and camping lodges, but didn't want to break the bank! This place fit the bill perfectly! Walking distance to the town, attentive and helpful staff, nice pool area and comfortable and clean rooms...oh and a good breakfast. And all for a bargain rate of 60 euros (off season rate). Yep...a good place! :-)

We were a group of seven 20 something girls looking for a relaxing break and this hotel was ideal for our needs. We stayed in the self catering apartments for seven nights.
The hotel is in a great location for accessing both san teodoro beaches and town centre. We didn't have a car but the shuttle bus was hassle free and quick to get to la cinta beach and we also hired bikes to explore two more of the local beaches which was great fun!

The hotel is very clean and the pool area is beautiful with excellent sun loungers.

We stayed in a self catering apartment which was simple but suitable for our needs with a nice terrace/balcony to sit out on an evening. If you do wish to cook be warned the kitchens are very basic- we just about managed but it was sometimes tricky with just a hob and no oven!

The only small complaint would be that we had a couple of issues with air conditioning not working, out room not ready on arrival etc. basic things which could easily have been sorted but the attitude of reception staff was a bit reluctant and we did feel like we were hassling them!!

However despite this, overall we had a lovely stay and loved the island!

The hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious. The breakfast was fairly average but not offensive. Everything seemed hygienic. The room service was slightly painful as there were no menus in the room and when you phoned reception to order something there would be an EUR 8 charge for dropping it to your room (even though the bar was about 50 feet away).

Otherwise we had a very pleasant stay and the staff were accommodating and friendly.

Great service in a clean hotel

We found the customer service to be outstanding. All staff were very friendly and this really made it a very enjoyable experience. Reception speaks good English and nothing was too much trouble. They offer a shuttle service to the beach too. Breakfast was one of the best we experienced on the island, with lovely fresh croissants, fruits, eggs, bacon, cereal etc. We are vegetarian and it was not a problem at all. The hotel is clean and quiet. There is a lovely bar area by the pool which serves drinks, ice creams and some bar food. A lovely place to catch a drink before going out in the evening. There are two good restaurants about 5 minutes away and we got 15% off one of them for being hotel guests. 10 minutes into town, there are loads of restaurants. I did not use the spa facilities but I did use the small fitness room which has a handful of cardio equipment and some free weights / bench. Small, but enough to keep the fitness levels topped up.

Good hotel in quiet location

We last visited the island seven years ago and needed to remind ourselves of it's unique charm. After much searching on the internet I decided on a location and a hotel in the north east of the island, and we were not disappointed. Costa Smeralda is littered with some outstanding beaches, nature trails and fine roads to drive on. The locals are not typically Italian - a little reserved in fact! I must mention just how lovely the sea is. If you are a keen and fairly strong swimmer then you have to take a dip. It is also very safe for young children too. If you want to get away from it all then I can highly recommend it.

A quality hotel

We were really satisfied with this hotel. Staff were polite, welcoming and helpful. Lovely pool, peaceful and quiet, just what we wanted. Ask for another pillow though. All brand new and kept very clean. We were a little pessimistic with the rate versus quality expected, but we were very pleased upon arrival. We'd stay here again but for longer and make a trip out of it. Very happy with this hotel overall.

Great apartment, fantastic staff

We stayed in a self catering apartment which was well equipped, quiet, clean, tidy and very spacious with a nice out-door area. The reception staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The resort itself was immaculate with great grounds and a lovely pool area. Whilst it is a fair walk to La Cinta beach there is a regular shuttle bus service (in high season) or you can hire one of their bikes (we did this twice). Lots of nature and great scenery nearby. San Teodoro is a pleasant town too, with plenty of nice bars and restaurants - I recommend La Posta for drinks and nibbles.

Welcoming venue to explore the area from.

All the staff were friendly and welcoming, from booking until we finally left! The rooms were spacious, clean and airy, the extensive breakfast, having access to the pool and the free wi-fi added many plusses to a most comfortable stay. I highly recommend this venue for all age groups.

Terra di Mare is a very modern and comfortable hotel. The staff was generally very helpful - although they did not receive our request for 2 beds that I specified not once but twice on the reservation, so we had to wait 30 minutes for a new room to be prepared once we arrived. Only a handful of the rooms are in the main hotel building; the majority of the rooms are in 2-story multi-unit villas around the property. While this is probably suitable for the Sardinian climate, it could make getting to/from breakfast or the fitness center (both in the main building) a bother if it is raining outside as there are no covered walkways. Thankfully, we had clear skies for our visit. That being said, the fitness center is a VERY nice touch as we did not encounter any other hotels with a gym throughout our Italian travels (and it was nice to be able to work off some of the amazing food we'd devoured). The breakfast spread was extensive. The fruit could not have been any fresher! The pool looked very inviting, although we did not have the opportunity to use it. The main \"issue\" with the hotel is that it is situated somewhat away from the town center - perhaps a 15 minute walk - so I would recommend having a car to get around. The hotel provides a free shuttle to the main beach (La Cinta) which is convenient, but there are better, less crowded beaches that can be reached via private car not much further away.

Good value, quality hotel.

Really clean, modern, comfortable and well equipped hotel. Free wifi in the reception, but would have been better in the rooms as well. We had a 2 roomed apartment which was really spacious, and had a useful kitchen with a patio area outside.

Pool area really nice, although there was no real shallow area to the pool and so is really not suitable for children.

A car is needed to get the most out of this place, otherwise you'd probably feel quite isolated and bored. There is nothing around here except for the beaches.

Relaxing family break

We took a family last minute break for some sun and relaxation. I cannot fault the hotel which is in a peaceful location yet an easy walk to town. Great pool, friendly staff. We would go back again.

Fint anlegg langt fra sjøen

Fint anlegg med stor flott basseng. Bra frokost og helt grei lunsjmeny ved bassenget. Savnet et mattilbud på kvelden. Booket superior room, men er veldig usikker på hva superior er? Helt enkelt rom med balkong ut mot parkeringen. Ta med egen pute! Anlegget ligger ikke i tilknytning til sjøen, og det er alt for langt å gå i sommervarmen. Chuttlebus til stranden 3 ganger om morgenen med retur på kvelden. Byen var veldig turistifisert. Kjedelig og litt «taklete» på dagtid, men litt bedre når kvelden kom. Kveldsmarked med masse boder hver kveld. Anbefaler alle å leie rib en dag og tilbringe dagen på sjøen👌

Unser Appartement war perfekt ausgestattet. Die Ablage der Küchenzeile war etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Pool ist super schön. Die ganze Anlage sehr gepflegt. Das Personal freundlich.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit der Unterkunft.
Die komplette Anlage ist sehr sauber. Grünbereich/ Garten werden täglich gepflegt, welches im Ergebnis sichtbar ist. Freundliches zuvorkommendes Personal.

Ants in the room, stinky sheets and bad management

Be aware that the apartments (where we stayed) have problems with ants. We found a lot Ants in multiple rooms - some even found their way to our bed and suitcases. Not what you expect from a 4-star hotel!

We also had stinky sheets in our room - as if the sheets had been standing in a sack with wet towels for too long. When we told the reception/management they (apparently) checked our sheets, but didn’t find a problem with them. We had no doubt and could smell it- and the cost of changing the sheet for the hotel would be zero to nothing. But the management is apparently not interested in providing the service you would expect from a four star hotel.

Another thing: when you stay in the apartments you won’t get cleaning, fresh towels, fresh pool towels, toilet paper or anything like that. You even have to take out your trash when you leave the apartment.

The rooms are outdated and in poor condition - beds are not very good either.

On the positive side: Breakfast and bar staff was was very kind and welcoming.

We really enjoyed our stay at Terradimare.
The hotel is in a great location, only a few minutes walk to the centre.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were able to extend our stay by several nights without any complications.
The pool area is beautiful and great for relaxing.
The rooms are beautifully furnished and super clean!

Kleinschalig en goed onderhouden resort. Mooie, ruime en schone kamers. Fijn zwembad met voldoende ligbedjes. Rustig gelegen, maar op loopafstand van het gezellige centrum. Bakker en supermarkt in de directe omgeving.

Ein schönes Hotel für einen entspannten Urlaub!

Das Terradimare ist ein tolles Hotel: Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit Balkon, alles war neu und sehr sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich und das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Weil das Hotel ausgebucht war, gab es nicht die Möglichkeit eines Late-Checkout, wir konnten aber am Pool bleiben und im Poolhaus duschen und uns umziehen. In die Stadt und zu den Restaurants spaziert man ca. 15 min, zum wunderbaren Strand La Cinta sind wir mit dem Mietwagen 5 min gefahren; man kann auch den öffentlich Bus benutzen, der in der Nähe abfährt oder mit den Leihfahrrädern hinfahren. Nach Oblia sind es mit dem Mietwagen nur 25 min. Uns hat es hier rundum gut gefallen!

The staff wasn't all that friendly, just one of the staff members was helpfull. The room wasn't clean so i changed room, then the cleaning service wasn't proper, didn't add towels or even toiletpaper.
