I made a late day reservation at this hotel while traveling through Newbridge. When I arrived the front desk host was incredibly friendly and she informed me that she had upgraded me to a suite. I thought maybe that meant a couch/living area in addition to a bedroom but I was wrong - it was the bridal suite! I had my own little apartment! Living room, dining room, dressing room, bedroom, TWO bathrooms - if it just had a kitchen someone could live there! The 'master' bathroom was amazing - huge, wonderful shower and even a standalone tub if you want to relax. The bed was also very comfortable. I got in too late to eat in the restaurant but breakfast the next morning was very good. The grounds are also very lovely and there are several amenities available through the attached leisure center. I will definitely be staying here again if I find myself in the area and I would highly recommend it to all travelers.

Very disappointed with this hotel. Booked this hotel as it had a pool which my 15 yr old son was really looking forward too but when we arrived around 6pm to check in we were then told that under 18s could not use the pool etc after 6pm and not before 9am in the morning. Needless to say I had one very disappointed son who couldn’t use the pool. If I had been told this at time of booking I definitely would not have booked this hotel. I could have booked other properties in the area much cheaper but they didn’t have a pool but as it turned out it was a total waste of money as we couldn’t use the pool. These details need to be made very clear to people who are booking with children to avoid the disappointment that we faced staying at this hotel.

Stayed here for one night and also had lunch here as we were attending a Holy Communion. Positives - good service, good food at lunch, nice toiletries in room, quiet at night and a varied selection for breakfast, which was OK. Negatives - uncomfortable beds (we barely slept), flat pillows, hot rooms, towels smelt like paint, rooms not 100% clean with webs and insects in several places. The hotel is dated, but they are in the process of refurbishing. It is currently not up to 4 star standards.

Checked in on a Thursday night, night shift Lady was awesome, room was older style but extremely clean, quiet, comfortable bed. The place is going through a remodel so I'm sure things will change a little. Free parking, breakfast was included and was great tasting, continental and hot. 2 gas station food places within walking distance. If you need something to eat quickly. There is a great bar and also across from it an enormous seating room with lounge chairs that you would see in an upscale golf club in Old England. Very very cool. We would definitely stay here again. Visiting from America.

Beware - Poor or no wifi on 1st floor rooms
Would be scored higher overall but there is hopeless wifi coverage on the 1st floor rooms! Pity as the rooms face the garden and are very comfortable. Wifi drops like Newton’s apple from full bars to one dot as soon as you climb 5 steps until you get to the room - then zilch!

We stayed here for a family occasion. The hotel is situated just outside Newbridge with plenty of parking. We have visited this hotel many times but never stayed overnight. We all loved our rooms. They were very spacious with seating areas and a large bathroom. We ate in the Bay Leaf restaurant and the food was exceptional. We also enjoyed sitting in the lounge having our drinks and there was a saxophone player there. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. We all enjoyed it so much and would highly recommend it.

I dont usually leave reviews but thought i had to this time as we had such a great experience at the Keadeen Hotel. The size of the rooms were great and the hotel itself was lovely, everything you needed and more. We went for dinner in Saddlers during our stay and it was hands down the best food i have ever had. Not only was the food amazing but the service as well was great, very little waiting time between courses and waiters couldnt have done enough for you. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Solo Hotel Visit
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Keadeen Hotel. Receptionist was really friendly and helpful. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Hotel was very pleasantly decorated inside and out. Gardens and late summer flowers were lovely. I enjoyed a lively dinner in the bar in the evening. I expected an a la carte menu in addition to the dinner menu. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed dinner, my first indoors since lockdown!
Breakfast was enjoyable though I'm not sure about the wisdom of a buffet even though plastic gloves were mandatory. I also felt that a staff member should be at the door to seat guests and take their room numbers as they arrived.
My other criticism is that hotel guests were unaware that it was necessary to book a time slot for the pool. I was fortunate to get an 8am slot though I spoke to a lady with an 11 year old daughter, who had booked the hotel due to the pool facilitis, but were unable to use it as it was booked out. This would be so disappointing and this possibility and the requirement to book should be indicated on booking websites. I found the young staff member in the pool unhelpful when I asked about purchasing goggles. Some staff training would benefit!

Brilliant hotel for a short stay with my children. No need to worry about organising parking- on site and free. Swimming pool was available each day. Breakfast was great and our evening meal was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A very relaxing stay.
