The window facing the road would not shut as the locking mechanism was broken, which resulted in hearing all the noise from the busy road as well as letting a draft in.
Went to have a shower in the evenings/mornings and the 'hot' water was was barely warm.

Very disappointing stay. Definitely not a 4 star. Food would have been better in a chipper take away. It was noisy. Such a lot of space to eat in yet we were placed crowed together in the middle of two families. Room was 2 star. Hot and noisy due to air conditioning fans outside yet we had none in our room! Tv was miniature so no wet both beds in the term room could see it. Not good enough in so many areas to meet a 4 star. Will not be returning.

Go woke up at 2am by a group fighting in the hallway rang reception security came up. The group settled for a half a hour. The made noise for the next 3 hours. Call security 3 more time group should have been removed from hotel. The next more at 11.40 cleaner came to door and told us it was 12 o clock and she needed to clean room. I told her it was 11:40 and check out not to 12 but we were going now. I thought it very rude especially after get no sleep that night.

Everything was ok until half 4 in the morning when they started loading trucks , people shouting and laughing whilst doing it , it sounded like someone was hitting a steel pipe off the floor and this went on for over an hour which kept me awake for the rest of the night . We went for breakfast which was fine and when leaving I asked could I bring a coffee up to my room. The girl making it asked me and my partner 5 times if we where residents, I offered to pay for the coffee because I felt like I was being interrogated. Eventually got the coffee asked again if I wanted to pay and then said no if you say you are a resident then ok. So rude and a pity because the rest of the staff couldn’t be any nicer.

Large hotel, plenty of parking, unfortunately it was very quiet and soulless, mainly due to the current restrictions I would suggest but the bar is poorly laid out and doesn’t encourage any atmosphere. Also with restrictions on leisure centre i didn’t get to use facilities. Breakfast was good as was dinner.

Expectations of room service and from other hotel trips you don’t need to leave the room for room service as it is implied in the name but on this occasion the card machine wouldn’t work in the room I had no cash and they wouldn’t charge it to the room as I didn’t leave my card details with the reception... another thing the woman who checked us in failed to mention. So in order to get food quickly and avoid stress I went to reception to pay bill in which case I practically had to guess the bill so most definitely got a bit over charged. Yes the girl at reception this time was more approachable and apologetic but i have never seen disorganization. After all that the food was delicious. Over all the stay was lovely but communication needs to be more of a priority.

Window sill was broken. Base is bed was filthy. Going from wedding service to bar area we had to go outside and across a terrace. Unfinished drinks kept being taken from the table during wedding celebration dancing. Barman did not call customer who walked away forgetting his change. Almost €10. Was not a tip as I brought it over to him.

Hotel lounge/bar was very quiet for July - no-one else in it!!...Although there was a wedding in another part of Hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean and bed was comfortable. Tea & Coffee was provided in the room but no biscuits like most other hotels... nice to have a wee biscuit with a cuppa!!
Only negative/disappointment - Was wakened early 8.15 am with the cleaners cleaning the room next door... moving furniture and hoovering!!

Thank you all at Westgrove hotel-we had an amazing day at the wedding of Chelsea and Diarmiud on 8 July. Everyone got checked in quickly and easily-check-in staff were v pleasant and helpful and had many rooms ready for us even before the check-in time which was wonderful as many of us were traveling fairly long distances. The rooms were great - clean and spacious. Our meal at the wedding way excellent and breakfast next morning equally good. All the guests who stayed overnight agreed that it was a pleasant, happy experience and we will all certainly be highly recommending the Westgrove hotel for future trips!! Thank you all again!!

Clare was has a great Chinese with a good bar below. The locals are very friendly. The hotel staff were really knowledgable and good. The rooms are very nice. The pool is lovely and all in all I cannot fault this hotel.

Hotel is in a small village, very remote, no atmosphere in bar I was the only customer at 22.00 hrs, very few in restaurant which also lacked atmosphere. No buzz to hotel only a few people staying. One would be better off on the outskirts of Dublin. Needed location for work but nothing inviting me back.

arrived early evening booked in and went straight to our room with the smallest TV I have ever seen in a hotel room. I had to sit on the edge of the bed to see anything. Went down to a very noisy bar for a meal, the service was slow and the meal was poor for a large hotel. could not really complain about the breakfast.

The staff were great we needed to change room because of my wifes medical condition but it was no problem for the reception staff very understanding. could have been better choices on the restaurant menu the only disappointing thing was the pool changing rooms probably the worst i had been in ..the floors were dirty looked like rhey hadnt been cleaned in weeks the pool was busy with local kids learning to swim with a female instructor who for the who time we were there screamed at the top of her voice all the parents were sitting on seats along the sides of the pool on their phones even thought there was signs saying no phones

We really liked the hotel and surroundings, but we were unhappy with the noise on Saturday night, loud music, children crying and the noise from guests in the corridor until the early hours of the morning. This was annoying as we had to be up at 6am to attend a convention. When it came to pay we were charged an extra £50 for staying Saturday night. This was not in the contract we received from you. We were hoping you could sort this out please.

First time in this hotel, I have family in Prosperous, 3 miles away. I've stayed in most of the nearby hotels and this is by far the best. The room was clean, comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Friendly staff and a decent price made this a very enjoyable stay. I'll stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Very comfortable. Not the most comfortable of bars. The design and layout is not great to have it that way. Even the cafe was very cold as it is right beside the door where the smokers go out. maybe different in the summer. We had booked the restaurant for a meal but because there was a show on, there was only an A La Carte menu on which compared to the main menu was only ok. For me anyway!! We enjoyed the breakfast selection though. Overall still enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

The hotel was lovely and had a nice friendly atmosphere. It was only a short drive from blanchardstown so ideal for a relaxing night away after doing some shopping. The staff were very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Event on in a function room on the second floor, no warning from staff to be made aware of it. Feel sorry for anyone with kids or early flights. Very noisy. Tried to get a bottle of water one of the nights. Vending machine took 9 euro without getting the water. Went to ask reception for help. No one at it. Thankfully barman helped us out and gave me a jug of water. Room had no temperature control. Uncomfortable hard beds. Room.service trays from other rooms left on in the hallways numerous times without being cleaned. Lifts not functioning properly often. Overall not great. Despite a lovely designed hotel. Clane was lovely and the pool facilities in the hotel where the best part.
