The public areas are very nice, but the rooms are very old and in disrepair. All of the windows were broken in our room, the air conditioner was rusted, and the control unit was falling off the wall, the sliding door to the patio could not be locked, and it was this way in all of the rooms at the hotel. it took us an hour and a half to check in because we had to wait in line and switch rooms two times. We were told by the maintenance guy that all of the sliding doors did not lock on the patios, but it was a safe area. Upon checking out, they charged us a 10% service fee, when I asked them what it was for they said to cover the cost that they had to pay Expedia! They did not have an iron so we could not iron our clothes. The steamer they had was not available for three days so we went out and wrinkled clothes to have dinner. everything closes early around the hotel which has very limited options in the area. The main beach by downtown is much much better. It is the only hotel in the area and there are several abandoned lots around the property. Lots of glass and broken debris from torn down buildings along the beaches. Be careful walking in the sand, lots of glass bottle caps, and broken pieces of tile. Service in the restaurant is terrible. The managers in the white shirts did absolutely nothing except play on their phones and talk to each other while we were walking around looking for silverware. The lights in the hotel are turned off at night.

The property staff didn’t speak any English and didn’t try to make any effort and even during check in I had a trouble because I arrived early and they refused to let me use the pool for two hours instead of waiting in the lobby. I send a msg to the management but haven’t heard anything back until now.

Its an older property that's in need of a major upgrade. The rooms and hotel in general were just okay. R$6 for a bottle water in the room was pricey. Also, I am sure I booked a room with a partial sea view but when I arrived I was told that I hadn't booked one and after arguing a bit, I was given a "courtesy" upgrade. Totally unnecessary.

It was wonderful walking into the lobby, and realizing we were going to be staying here. The food was excellent, the service was great and apart from a couple minor bumps this was easily the most enjoyable experience I've ever had at a hotel. Loved the city of Fortaleza as well.

Hotel close to the beach. Kind staff but less efficient, no luggage carried. Old furniture a bit degraded. Catched some cockroaches in room. Wireless available only for one user. Good food but less cared, cakes exposed to flies.
In short, is an hotel for a pleasant stay at beach without waiting to have some comfort details.

Across the street from a beautiful beach

Would have given it 5 starts if it had free internet in the rooms. Wi-Fi is free in the lobby and has a fee for the rooms (does not cost too much). But connection is spotty in the rooms. If you want beach location, it is great. Right across the street from a very nice beach. And they have beach chairs/umbrellas free for guests.

Perfect location and layout

I was traveling with my 17 year old son for World Cup and spent 3 nights at the Vila Gale. All in all it was a very good experience with a perfect location on Future Beach. The hotel is very spacious with a good layout that connects restaurant to pool to beach. Ocean breezes were definitely appreciated as the inland humidity was sometimes stifling during our visit. On site restaurant and pool bar were very good.

Beautiful hotel but too remote. Very relaxing.

I loved the hotel but it is remote and in a construction area. Beach was beautiful but surroundings were unsightly. The staff were wonderful. The facility was lovely. The restaurants were great. The beach was amazing. But there was absolutely no where to go that felt safe other than the hotel property. I would go again just because of the location.

Great hotel for families with young children

A great hotel for families but a bit out of the way - you need a taxi to go anywhere but the cost of taxis is reasonable and they are always readily availbale. The staff are charming and extremely helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

BEACH ACCESS WAS FANTASTIC, SERVICE AT THE BEACH WAS WONDERFUL, THE OCEAN IS CLEAN AND VERY NICE WITH LOTS OF CLEAN SAND! HOTEL WAS RENOVATING INSIDE WHICH CAUSED FOR SOME NOISE, BUT EVERYTHING WAS VERY CLEAN. HOTEL BREAKFAST WAS GREAT, DELICIOUS AND THE RESTAURANT STAFF WAS AMAZING. Vila Gale Fortaleza Great Beach Location

This was a very nice hotel and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The location is one of the best if you just want the beach. If you want to do more of a tourist type of trip in Fortaleza I would suggest another location. This is about 10 minutes from the Beira Mar area which is where most of the tourist attractions are. This is on the nicest beach in Fortaleza Praia do Futuro and they have many activities for children and it is a really good family venue. I found the hotel to be dated overall but it was clean and comfortable. I was told by locals including the staff that the neighborhood is not very safe but as long as you stay within the confines of the hotel and the beach across the street in the daytime you should be fine. When I saw 5 stars I usually think about a 5 star hotel in the states or western Europe. You need to set your expectations here. In comparison to many of the hotels in the area it does rate higher than most I looked at. The beach is beautiful there so if you want the best beach in the immediate Fortaleza area and want to relax this is a great location. The breakfast buffet was ample with something for everyone regardless of where you are coming from. They had traditional foods from every major continent and the food was good. The food at the restaurant on the beach was ok. I did have lunch there a couple of times.

We stayed here for one night, as a getaway from Fortaleza. The hotel is probably a 3-star in terms of quality and furnishings. Some minor maintenance issues (e.g., lights out in hallways, somewhat thin mattress on the bed (in the "superior" room), though not unusual for Brazil). While I found the price of the buffet dinner (40 Reais) a bit high, it was still good. Breakfast buffet, included in the price, is okay (but, really, no fresh juice, just canned?).The beach, just across the street, is nice, but there is a favela (slum) and you would not want to walk in the area at night or early in the morning (this from locals). The location is a bit isolated from Fortaleza itself, but there are excursions, and the beach, while not pristine, is cleaner than that in front of the hotels in Fortalea itself, and you can arrange excursions. Staff were uniformaly friendly.

Worst Hotel Experience

[...] I arrived and they didn't believe me that I had already paid, so I had to pay again. They didn't have an airport shuttle, so I had to pay for a taxi in the morning; they said taxi's are out front 24/7. I showed up in the morning and there were no taxis, so I had to wait 15 minutes for one. The internet service was not working. Outdoor food service was terrible, once I got my food, it was terrible. No alarm clock in the room, so I asked for a wake-up call, which was late. The front desk staff was not very friendly. The hotel looks nice inside and out, but I had too many problems with them and would not stay here again. Luckily, in the end, I made my flight in the morning [...]

JUST PERFECT

This Hotel is off the beaten path, right on the beach.....If you and your wife want ,,some peace and also a wonderful time...I suggest that you come here..There are taxi's , at the hotel and very reasonable. I found the staff...from the cleaning ladies to hotel management, very friendly ...and try to make everything good.
The breakfast buffet is more than you can possibly want...from fresh fruit,,to eggs and meat,,,,cheese and hard rolls... Juice and coffee....It is a perfect way to start your day...The beautiful beach is a very short walk across the quite street..and the sand and sea...is what you think of..when coming to beach vacation....I will...come back to this hotel...
,,,,,,,the beds are twin beds, pushed together...is only discomfort....

O Spa está em manutenção, nos deixaram no primeiro andar e não vi o mar pela janela do quarto.O hotel pede para a gente tirar a pulseira quando sair para se caso formos assaltados o ladrão não entre com a mesma no hotel, com isso ficamos sem a pulseira na parte das barracas em frente à praia do futuro, um garçom novo e magro nos atendeu, expliquei que estava com intoxicação alimentar por conta de uma carne que comi no restaurante vila Galé Fortaleza nas noites anteriores, e que não estava com vontade de comer nada naquele momento somente água de coco, ele viu que eu não ia gastar mais começou a nos tratar mal e foi até nós para fechar a conta sem o nosso pedido, quando meu marido voltou da praia e ia pegar nossa bolsa para usar a toalha, eles já vieram em cima da gente como se fossemos embora e não pagar os cocos que pegamos. Me senti muito mal com isso e não gostei desse tratamento. Paguei pelos cocos ali e fui falar com o gerente, isso tudo seria desnecessário se a gente tivesse com a pulseira que eles nos orientam a tirar. Nunca me senti tão humilhada em um hotel antes. Além disso a jacuzzi não funcionou durante o período em que estavamos no hotel, em manutenção. A piscina é rasa.

Minha experiência no Hotel Vila Galé Fortaleza foi mista.
O café da manhã é muito bom, bem servido e com bastante variedade. O jantar do chef também merece destaque, assim como o serviço do restaurante, que funciona muito bem, com equipe atenciosa e organizada.
Sobre a limpeza, o quarto estava limpo na chegada. Porém, durante a estadia, a manutenção da limpeza foi limitada, basicamente à retirada do lixo e troca de toalhas, sem uma limpeza mais completa do quarto.
Tive um problema sério com o quarto 1024, que comprometeu minha estadia. A porta de entrada do quarto estava empenada e a porta da sacada não fechava. O quarto ficava no primeiro andar, de frente para uma marquise, com fácil acesso à varanda, o que me deixou extremamente insegura, principalmente por estar sozinha e ser mulher.
Solicitei a troca de quarto pela manhã e reforcei o pedido à tarde. Mesmo com o problema não resolvido, não fui transferida de quarto. Fui informada de que a manutenção precisaria avaliar a situação. Pelo próprio relato do prestador de serviço, a fechadura já apresentava problemas há bastante tempo. Precisei permanecer cerca de uma hora dentro do quarto, com barulho, aguardando o reparo, que não solucionou o problema.
Além disso, solicitei um quarto com cama de casal, porém foram unidas duas camas de solteiro, sem sequer colocarem um pillow top ou qualquer ajuste para evitar o vão entre as camas. Essa informação não é deixada de forma clara no momento da reserva, o que causar frustração.

Este hotel já precisa de uma atualização. Ele é muito amplo e com excelente espaço, inclusive com muita variedade de coisas para o lazer, mas precisa modernizar. Há, também, a necessidade de contratação de mais funcionários para o período de alta temporada. Haviam poucos funcionários para a quantidade de pessoas hospedadas, então, acredito que em razão dessa grande demanda, os funcionários estavam muito estressados, pouco simpáticos e nada solícitos. Atendimento bem ruim. Por ser um hotel que atende famílias com crianças, penso que seria interessante haver quartos que possuam algum tipo de copa/cozinha. As camas e travesseiros também precisam ser renovados, pois são bem ruins.

Apartamento com móveis antigos, iluminação por abajures. Não tinha tecla de interruptores paralelo na Cama.
O restaurante parceiro deles o cervejaria portuguesa demorou mais de 1hora e meia para trazer uma caipirinha nos dois dias que eu fui, o cupim braseiro estava duro, e quando fomos almoçar no buffet (em uma segunda-feira) a comida parede que era do dia anterior. A noite quando fomos comer no hotel os garçons demoraram muito para nos atender(tem poucos garçons para quantidade de pessoas) e a pizza demorou muito.
Deixaram muito a desejar, o pior é que a noite não tem nada para fazer ali perto do hotel. Tivemos que nos deslocar, pois o hotel “resort” não tem nenhuma programação legal nem diurno e nem noturno.

Tivemos uma estadia maravilhosa no Vila Galé! O atendimento e a hospitalidade foram impecáveis, a estrutura é excelente e a piscina infantil fez a alegria do nosso pequeno. A tapioca feita na hora é a cereja do café da manhã!

Escolhi o hotel por causa do espaço kids para meu filho curtir o dia das crianças, porém, em pleno dia das crianças, o playground estava em manutenção, restando apenas a piscina, foi decepcionante. Também acho que o bar da piscina pode melhorar com o incremento de petiscos e área de consumação que não havia uma mesa se quer na área da piscina. O quarto era bom, cama confortável, chuveiro forte, central de ar gelando, tv com muitos canais, nesse quesito foi top. Café da manhã pouco variado, fiquei duas diárias e em ambas foram as mesmas opções, sem contar que não tinha opções de bolos que são comuns nos buffets, no geral, só o básico, pães, queijos, presuntos, ovos, tapioca..da pra melhorar pro padrão do grupo Vila Galé.

Hotel em obra. Barulho de picareta de 10 as 18 hs.

Estadia deplorável. Enquanto faziamos check in começamos a ouvir um barulho de picareta. Ao indagar ao atendente ele disse q o hotel estava em obras e q isso era avisado para as plataformas de reserva. Não foi avisado para gente. Qdo questionei o horario ele disse que seria de seg a sexta de 10:30 as 17:30 e final de semana não tinha obra. Isso era sexta. O barulho é insuportavel e ensurdecedor. Meu quarto era em cima da laje q estavam quebrando. Impossível ficar no quarto. A piscina cheia de tapumes. No sábado, diferentemente do informado, começaram o barulho da picareta as 9 hs da manhã. Tive q ligar p reclamar várias vezes até pararem. Cobraram uma taxa de 180 reais na entrada (disseram q eram taxas locais) e queriam cobrar mais 180 na saida. Depois de reclamar não cobraram a da saída. Na reserva dizia q não tinham taxas adicionais. Café da manhã bem médio. No sábado a moça que fazia tapioca e cuzcuz era ótima. A de domingo e segundo era péssima, mau humorada, deixava tapioca dura e pronta p montar, péssima qualidade. Considerando o custo beneficio existem opções muitooo melhores, ainda mais com o hotel em obras. Fuja totalmente se o objetivo for férias e descanso.

Chateada Obra Hotel

Fiquei hospedada 4 dias com meu marido e uma coisa que me deixou com raiva e chateação foi que, ao chegarmos o hotel estava com uma obra proximo a piscina, era impossivel ficar lá com um barulho de britadeira altíssimo.
Chegamos em uma 5a feira e o único dia que pudemos aproveitar a piscina foi no domingo, pois até no sábado .
Acho que o hotel tinha que ter comunicado aos hospedes antes, mas nada fez pra não perder. Agora quem vai pra curtir um descanso foi dinheiro jogado fora.
Outra coisa, o colchão não tava bom, amanheci com a coluna doendo, o cafe da manhã bem fraco e olha que me hospedo lá há anos, mas desta vez o nivel caiu demais, acho que não voltarei mais.

Gostamos muito do hotel. Foi uma viagem de férias.
Funcionários bastante solicitos e educados.
O único ponto que gostaria de tocar é na questão da fila no café da manhã. Apenas 1 funcionária pra preparar tapiocas, omelete, cuscuz, queijo, ovos...
Enfim, a funcionária mesmo sendo muito habilidosa, não consegue dar vencimento na fila.
Em um dia de sábado no hotel, cheguei a ficar na fila em media 30 min.
Acho que 2 funcionárias no mínimo era o ideal....

Quarto bemxconfortavel. Porem tinha uma barata morta embaixo da cortina. Dentro do box sontem shampoo. O sabonete fica apenas na pia. Ou seja dentro do box nao tem como utilizar sabonete.

A experiência foi péssima. O que dizer de um hotel que não respeita os hóspedes de maneira geral? Nada contra lotar o hotel com um evento para 600 pessoas, desde que haja estrutura de cozinha e serviços. Café da manhã sem insumos, funcionários totalmente desestabilizados, mesas imundas, restaurantes colapsados, sem condições de sequer manter o cardápio, barulho infernal e, para fechar com chave de ouro, uma festa com som nas alturas até alta madrugada. Ao invés de comunicar os demais hóspedes, remanejar para receber com mais respeito, nem uma mensagem foi encaminhada alterando a rotina do local. Falta de organização, preparo e respeito com os demais hóspedes. Banheiros cheios de lodo, camas e travesseiros desconfortáveis. Quando volto? Nunca mais! E não recomendo. Pensem duas vezes antes de reservar essa acomodação.

4ª vez que me hospedo nele. E me surpreendi, deram uma pintura, uma renovada nele. Achei mais novo e conservado. Colocaram também atividade Kids com instrutor que foi bem legal também. Quarto confortavel, camas boas, bom café da manhã, boa estrutura para ficar nele. Voltarei novamente com certeza.

chambre décevante mais hôtel attractif avec enfant

la piscine pour enfant, trampolines et piscine à balle, en font un hôtel prisé pour les familles avec jeunes enfants. Petit déjeuner copieux et goûteux. L’hôtel dispose de restaurants mais dont le plupart restent fermés hors très haute saison, le service du bar de le piscine laisse à désirer et les chambres sont vieillotes et la maintenance n’est pas au rendez vous. Sauf si vous avez des enfants jeunes, il y a bien mieux à fortaleza et sa région

No meio do caminho

Não tenho certeza se este é um hotel que está caminhando para a excelência de serviço e atendimento ou se está em processo de decadência. Acho que ele está no meio do caminho, seja ele qual for.
Tem coisas muito boas a oferecer: a comida em todos os restaurantes estava deliciosa, o atendimento dos funcionários foi perfeito e os quartos são amplos e confortáveis.
Mas a academia precisa de manutenção, assim como a sauna e a hidromassagem. As camas e travesseiros poderiam ser melhores. O hotel não oferece xampu nem condicionador. E a localização é ruim também.

Pontos positivos: o café da manhã tem muita variedade e o hotel oferece recreação para as crianças se divertirem.
Pontos negativos: o quarto estava cheirando mofo aí fui na recepção e mandaram uma pessoa no quarto e ela borrifou nas cortinas um líquido com cheiro com isso aumentou ainda mais o cheiro desagradável do quarto. Fui na recepção novamente e eles nos trocaram de quarto. Depois disso não tive mais problema. A localização é de frente ao mar contudo, a noite os restaurantes próximos estavam fechados.

A estadia começou muito bem, porem apareceram algumas baratas no quarto e isso foi bem desagradável.. a equipe do hotel foi muito atenciosa e nos trocou de quarto.
A piscina é boa, porem nao tem guarda sol na area da piscina.. o que acho que prejudica um pouco o local.
De resto os funcionários foram muito agradáveis em geral.

O hotel possui boa infraestrutura, ótimas piscinas com váriadas atividades para crianças (sala de cinema,jogos, piscina de bolinhas e pula pula. Café da manhã excelente e a praia fica bem próxima é só atravessar e ir para a barraca portuguesa q fica em frente ao hotel. Para quem deseja conhecer as proximidades aconselho alugar um carro devido a distância e há várias barracas na orla além dos pontos turísticos de Fortaleza.

Sou de Fortaleza e moro em Brasília. Vou há muitos anos no Vila Galé!
O que mais gosto no hotel, é a proximidade com o mar, pois quero ir à praia cedo, e a nossa barraca preferida é a Terra do Sol, que fica há poucos passos do hotel!
Assim, procuramos relevar algumas falhas, pois sempre voltamos!
Desta vez, a limpeza do quarto e do banheiro não foi boa! Além disso, não colocavam tapete no banheiro! Uma vez pedi e depois de insisti na solicitação entregaram, mas aconteceu de novo e não atenderam! Coloquei as toalhas de praia no chão!
O café é bom e o quarto, quando limpo, é bem confortável!
A recepção é muito atenciosa!
Vamos voltar, sempre!

Quarto não muito grande, mas um bom tamanho, banheiro novinho ( deveriam oferecer também o condicionador), deveriam ter um entendedor de roupa na varanda. Wi-Fi não é muito boa. Café da manhã gostoso. Espaços de brincadeiras paras as crianças bons, mas não tem uma recreação muito atrativa.
