The breakfast was great. The best part of the stay was breakfast and the fact the hotel has a private beach. However, the room is very dated. There are no electrical outlets to charge your phone near the bed. It was just an older looking room. The park has limited spots.

From the start of the stay to the end, it was a wonderful experience at Argos Hotel. The front of hotel staff were welcoming, friendly, and dealt with any questions quickly both via email, and in person. Room was clean, tidy, well-lit and double bed was huge - definitely request one. A cot was also offered (and provided) 'just in case', and didn't take up much space. Cleaning staff were super friendly as well and did a great job.

Other aspects - dining - good selection for both breakfast and dinner, and again great staff, friendly, a smile on their face, and put up with a toddler saying 'Ola' a thousand times!

We also used the pools (indoor and outdoor), and they were really lovely, and having a spot of beach as part of the hotel was very welcome for that extra all-inclusive feeling.

All in all a great stay and definitely would recommend!

For the most part, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Argos. There is a great view from the property and the staff are nice.
The rooms are clean, have good AC and a large balcony.
Unfortunately, on our last night, there was a large cockroach in the bathroom. While I think it is somewhat expected to find them outside In Ibiza, I would expect the hotel to be sprayed regularly to ensure they are not a problem for guests.

My room had a great view of the water. There was a balcony, too. Room did not have carpeting which makes it feel cleaner as carpeting holds dirt and dust mites. Breakfast buffet was plentiful. Staff was helpful and there was parking available for free as we had a rental vehicle. And because we traveled in the off season, the room rate was excellent.

The swimming pool was not maintained well, had black algae growing in it and suncream around the sides. I know how to maintain pools as we have a swimming pool.
Staff really friendly but let down by the fact I left a dress behind in a drawer which I had been repairing, but funnily enough no staff could find. It was of sentimental value hence why I was repairing it, but ‘lost’.

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS

Having not been to Ibiza for 40 years , I was quite apprehensive. However, I found were staying on a beach with little ramshackle bars and it felt like I was back in the 80's again. Talamanca cannot have changed too much since then. A poncey hotel added at the far end of the beach but far enough to not detract from the general atmosphere of the resort.
The hotel itself is exceptional, excellent food and quality rooms with staff who could not do enough for you . Special mention for the waiters and bar staff. Alex and Ivan could not have been nicer.

Location is very good. It is a 25 minute walk around the harbour to the old town. Alternatively,there is an excellent water taxi service from a quay 5 minutes from the hotel which takes you to and from the Old Town in 15 minutes.

Initially I thought I had paid a high price for the hotel but, (realizing that Ibiza is expensive) it is not out of line with other hotels
Ignore the conceptions that Ibiza is all Party Party; it is not. The island caters for all ages . The only thing I would say is that if you plan to walk to the top of the Old Town and back then wear some sensible non- slip shoes.

staff was very rude. No service at the pool. We had a paid reservation for 5 days and had to return to the USA for a family death 24 hours after we arrived and I explained that to the front desk when I checked out - not one word of condolence and nothing - not even a thanks for staying here. I lost 5 days of money and they will turn the room and rerent it - the staff was very rude.

Arrived to hear the room opposite we’re having a party during the day with loud music and doors banging every couple of minutes. The police were called in the end!

Asked to be moved rooms as it was too noisy and was told that it had been sorted.

Walls are paper thin and you can hear people talking.

Paid for 3 nights and left after 1 as this wasn’t the impression I was given by Expedia when I booked.

Our room was lovely, clean and white, the hotel was clean but in general it’s rather dated and there was nothing welcoming about the pool area, also the sunbeds were dreadful. The little bay that the hotel was on was lovely, location was ok because we hired a car. Staff were pleasant, but perhaps not always as helpful as you would hope. Would I go back there, no, I felt it was overpriced for the standard of hotel and think it probably received its 4**** many years ago and should now only be graded with 3***. As for the fitness room - disgusting, dangerous, dated, we actually could not believe they even stated they had one.

The location was brilliant for both the beach and the harbour in the old town area.
Rooms fantastic really modern and clean.
Abit disappointed with the reception, dining area looked very untidy and needs a refresh very dated.
The outside pool are was not very welcoming and not much room to get around so we just went to the beach to be honest.

Staff not very friendly apart from one young lady who was lovely at checkin who was lovely.

The hotel is in a very good location with a nice view across Talamanca Bay and only a few minutes walk to the ferry for Ibiza town. The room was a good size, clean and well-equipped with a nice balcony. The staff were generally friendly and helpful although the maids liked to shout to each other in the corridors in the morning which wasn't great if you fancy a sleep-in!

Property is as advertised. Nice pool area. About a 20-25 minute walk to Ibiza Center or 10 minute ferry ride. Was on the floor above the restaurant, so would hear noise. Cleaning staff is loud in the morning and wakes you up. Otherwise and okay 3 star at best stay.

A Great Location and a Top Hotel

Amazing customer service fro Vincent; one of the day managers. O top hotel right in the beach and close to all the restaurants there, but also just 5 mins away from the marina where you can get the water bus pinto town.
Rooms were comfortable and exceptionally clean, pools was excellent, beach beds and parasols free! Lovely views from the balcony on the seaward side, late check out available with even later shower facilities if needed but really it was Vincent who made all the difference; he was top class - thank you!

Hotel was great, really smart clean and bright bright rooms, very well kept. The staff were all very pleasant. The hotel is in a great location and too just round the corner from the marina. We got a bus from the airport, about 20mins and then maybe a 10mim walk, which was nice to see the area. Taxi was about 25euros back.

The only downside which was my fault was that I didnt book a Seaview room as the view was so stunning, I would definitely recommend rather than looking at the car park at the front. Would 100% go back again.

This was our 8th stay on the island, we rarely book a hotel but had to this time, and we were not disappointed. Hotel Argos was perfectly located right on Talamanca beach and very close to the marina. The staff were welcoming, accommodating and friendly, they also made beautiful cocktails! The only small issue we had were the couple of cockroaches we found in our room. The rooms were cleaned well every day but we were on the ground floor metres away from the beach. If you’re not a fan of bugs ask to stay on the first floor.

Stayed for 4 nights late July for a last minute break. Knew the area from previous visits and had seen the Hotel many times. Quiet location during the day but close to Ibiza town at night. Room was excellent and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good but possibly a bit expensive at 14.00 euros per day. Staff great with the exception of check out day. Asked forna taxi for 10.15 am to be told Taxis were on strike. I appreciate the Hotel has no control over this but I feel they do have a certain responsibility to their guests to keep them informed about these type of issues. A note under the door the night before to guests checking out the following day would have been appreciated to allow extra time to get to the airport. As it was I was handed a map and told the airport bus was about 1 km that way with a shrug. Pity it ruined what otherwise would have been a 5 star review all round. If anyone is interested at the Argos I did eventually get to the airport on time after a very eventful trek round the outskirts of Ibiza town dragging a suitcase.

Right on the beach in Talamanca. Stroll one way around the bay or the other direction to the old town. It may not be a stylish or spanking brand new 4star but it has everything you need and the staff are excellent.

IBIZA'S ARGOS HOTEL OFFERS GOOD VALUE

I spent four nights here and enjoyed my stay, although I would have preferred a room facing the water instead of the noisy street. (The hotel advised to ask for a "double room for single use" in the future to obtain a better room.) Front desk service was friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel is a ways from the Bossa, Es Cavallet and Les Salines beaches, which was the reason for my visit and meant I needed a car.

Marina is not far so head there.
Check could be quicker and you pay a “tourist tax” something like €1.25 a day which isn’t much, but leaves a sour taste for such a wanky term.

For the money I paid and the Hotel not even being full I was put into a very small single room. WiFi was none existent. Wouldn’t be back anytime soon

The hotel is situated right on the beach of Talamanca Bay :views from sea view rooms are idyllic. It was a peaceful place to stay (it was March however) with a couple of local restaurants and cafes and a nice beach. The balcony faced east over the bay so shaded after breakfast time. The breakfast buffet was very good. Facilities and cleanliness were fine (no cups but there's a kettle in the room!) and staff were helpful. It's a 2km walk into the town alongside the marina. Our only issue was we booked a large double bed but were given two singles.
