Reserved a Double Room w/2 beds. Got there and they gave me a room with 1 beds. I had 4 people in my group. I argued and argued, to no avail. Finally I asked for a full refund and had to argue about that also. After being fed up, I went next door and booked a room. What if there were no rooms available anywhere? I would have been stranded with no place to stay. When I went to turn in keys I was told oh they have a 2/bed room available now as it was just cleaned. All they had to do was say that they had a room w/ 2 beds but it wasn’t ready yet. I would have been fine with that but that was severed offered. Front desk person was very unhelpful and acted like she did not know anything. This was a disaster and if a reservation that has been confirmed for a room with 2 beds should have a room with 2 beds. I am very disappointed and will not stay at another Days Inn again!

Upon arrival after driving 400 miles we arrived 55 minutes before check in and the front desk girl said we have to wait until the check in time for our room saying it wasn't ready. Then 5 minutes later she said ok your room is done. We entered our room and was very dated, smelled of smoke, the toilet was plugged when we got into the room and finally after 3 calls to the front desk they brought us a plunger to do ourselves nothing about moving to another room. There was half drunk bottles of water still in the fridge and 3 very small pillows. Sleep was pretty much non existent with doors slamming, people talking loudly right outside our door. Eventually deciding to get up at 4.30am watching TV on a broken screen went for breakfast to find very limited selection. This place has really gone downhill in the last 3 years. Will not stay here again!!!

When I arrived and checked in, I was given a room that Idid not reserve. When I went to the desk to tell the person that I was given the wrong room, I was told they had no way of knowing what room I had purchased. I had to prove it on my receipt before she would change the room to the one I had reserved online. The room was fine but the entire check-in process was ridiculous. We had been on a road trip for 3 weeks and never experienced a desk clerk not knowing which room I booked. A maid knocked on our door early the next morning, although we hadn’t checked out. Staff was pleasant, the breakfast was nice. There were couple large groups staying at the hotel when we were there and some items ran out but the staff was trying to accommodate everyone. Tea and coffee plus some snacks were available 24/7. My heater was acting up so I got a portable heater from the manager and it worked great.

3 semi's were running outside our room all night. The tub needs caulking, could be the source of the mold and mildew smell in the room. There was supposed to be continental breakfast, there was no food. Explenation for no food was they need to change that. The queen size bed did not seem to be of size. The room dicription is nothing to compare to actual.

The facility rear entrance was taped open providing NO security to the guests

Smokers were right outside the main and secondary entrance requiring guests to walk through clods of cigarette smoke

Every area is worn and outdated. The bathroom had a very dirty exhaust fan and missing caulking around the tub. The toilet was so old that is was the short version grom the 70's. We would have moved but didn't think we could find another room. We based our choice on the Wyndham name but this place should be torn down and rebuilt.

Great hotel, bad experience with the locals.

The hotel was a quality bed with good sheets, clean room, and pleasant staff. The town is a small beautiful town with lots of history.

The people made my friend and I very uncomfortable and unwelcomed. In fact, I was punched in the face at a local bar by a guy I never even spoke too. Completely out of no where and unprovoked. Everywhere we went we were stared at, not like the normal “you are out of towner look” but the why are you here look. I travel a lot and normally love small towns because the people are nice.

Not this town. Avoid the “the outpost” bar .8 miles up the street. I highly recommend “The Borders bar” who had the most amazing brisket sandwich I have ever had! The “Chocolate Mousse” restraint was also very good, especially the service by Therese and the spaghetti and meatballs were superb,
