Food was great. Lots of bacon at breakfast, which is extremely important for Canadian travelers :) Grounds are beautiful. Multiple pools were clean and serene. Rooms were clean and the king bed was the size of my apartment...huge! Female staff were all very pleasant. The male front desk staff were average. All it takes is a smile and you've won me over, however, I took notice that male staff behind the counter don't seem to smile at all. I try not to be too judgy about those things because you never know what someone is going through, but day after day, I noticed that male staff behind counter seemed almost bothered when you came up to the counter. Other than that, the stay was amazing. Would definitely return.

Room Air Conditioning sucks. The management says guests can not control the temperature below 22°C (71°F). That's ridiculous. With outside temperatures soaring above 33°C (90°F) and humidity levels 70%+, the rooms are hot. When you come into the room, tired and sweaty, it sucks because you can't get it below 22°C. I have never seen this in any other 5-star resorts. The furnitures are ordinary. The shampoo dispenser, once pressed, won't come back, you need to pull it up again. There are no elevators. Again, after a sweaty day, you have to climb plenty of steps to get to your room. The resort claims they are \"on the beach\". They are NOT. There's a small rocky beach, a very busy street, and then the resort entrance. The staff is very polite & respectful, but the majority of them don't speak English. Restaurants (except the Ocean View restaurant) have limited options. The resort is not ideally located (about 5 km from the \"activity\" place). The view from the room is certainly good. Overall, I WILL NOT COME BACK HERE.

The whole experience was disappointing and left us with a strong sense of frustration and dissatisfaction with management of this hotel . This was one of the best stays we had as a family. We were offered a room upgrade by the check-in staff. The room was fabulous with fitted Jacuzzi and very spacious. We also received complimentary fruit basket on arrival. The property itself was very beautiful with 2 well maintained pools and it also had a slide for kids.

What a fantastic resort! Honestly, I didn’t expect to have such an amazing experience here. The staff are very friendly, the food is great, and the location at Patong Beach is perfect. We stayed in the Diamond Jacuzzi Suite—the view was fantastic, and the room size was excellent for a family of four.

There are many better hotels with less stars right across the beach.

- villa design amazing, view of ocean incredible (for some villas),
- room service food quality great.
Cons:
- both villas are in a terrible state , termites in more than one location.
- Water leaks inside the villa
- to reach the villa you need to change 2 buggies and go up stairs
- if you call 0 rarely does someone answers
- staff (with the exception of a few) are unfriendly and feels like a factory production line. Just want you get you out of the reception or hang-up as quickly as possible
- pity such an amazing property run by this management

Diamond cliff resort and spa is a high quality resort. The rooms are nice, the food is tasty and the pool areas are relaxing. It is a few minutes walk up a hill from Patong Beach- so if you want to be away from the hustle, but still get to the main strip you can easily. Note- there are a lot of stairs at the resort and your room may not be located close to the complementary shuttle

The rooms were ok but not high-end. There was no indoor bar! You had to use the bar at the pool which was not air conditioned. So at night, there was no good place to get a drink and hang out with friends. The most surprising negative was that it appears to be on the beach on the website but it is not. It is across the street from the ocean and there is no good beach there. You have to walk several blocks down the busy road to get to Patong beach.

Also got a call at 10pm regarding their restaurant closing, but the call woke me up from a dead sleep. There are coupons for everything and the 'all inclusive' doesnt include a lot of items. Very poor hotel for the standards you expect - terrible WIFI, plug sockets not working, staff not very attentive in particular bell boys. Upon arrival we weren’t given a key card and were told someone would bring our luggage to us… 45 minutes later reception phoned to tell us we’d left our luggage in reception. Overall disappointing hotel. Breakfast is very overcrowded - no where near enough tables for the amount of people staying at the hotel. Would not recommend or stay here again.

We stayed at Diamond Cliff Resort in early October for a wonderful family holiday. The location was perfect—just a short walk to Patong yet far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. The resort boasts excellent facilities, including multiple pools and a well-equipped gym. Breakfast was a highlight, with a generous buffet offering fresh, varied options each morning. We had such a great experience that we’ll definitely be returning!

Limited in room service, poor menu and response time. Guest services struggled to interpret requests. Stunning resort but would not stay there again.

We paid an extra 250-ish dollars for the all-inclusive package, and unless you are big alcohol drinkers, it wasn’t very worth it. We felt as if we were eating off the kids’ meal every day and ended up just ordering other food rather than the included. The food package and unlimited drinks were also only available at one of the pools, which, if you have kids, was not as enjoyable, and if your room was located near the further pool, it would have been a long walk. Other than that, our suite was beautiful and very fairly priced. I just wish I knew not to waste the money on the all-inclusive.
