We had a fantastic time! They were wonderfully eco-conscious which is very important to us. The staff was friendly and super helpful. My husband hurt his leg and we had to go to the clinic, the wonderful staff at Narima arranged the entire thing. We had an awesome time and definitely encourage others to stay!

Tranquil paradise.

The perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing holiday away from the crowds. We were humbled by the constant kindness of the staff, thoughtfully preparing us a take-away breakfast for our journey home, organising trips and transport for us and always with genuine warmth.
We cannot recommend the Narima highly enough. Spotless bungalows, lovely pool and private beach with a great restaurant happy to cater for two vegetarians. and everything always with a smile.
As two females travelling alone, we felt very spoilt and very safe indeed.
Probably a good idea to hire a car or scooter to see the rest of the island as the resort is a 30 minute walk to the nearest shops. The upside is you see lots of monkeys on your way and work up an appetite for your next delicious meal!
Many thanks to everyone at the Narima for making our stay such a special one.

Paradise without breaking the bank!

We've just returned from our third visit to Narima and it remains our favourite holiday destination. Koh Lanta is a beautiful island for a laid back holiday and the setting of Narima couldn't be better with bungalows half hidden amongst the jungle going down to the gorgeous beach. This is not a luxurious resort but we give it five stars for comfort, value for money, friendly staff and great food. The beach bar is just perfect with quiet laid back music in the evenings but silence during the day. No need to dress up either! If soaking up the sun listening to the waves lapping on white sand is your idea of heaven, this is the place for you. I recommend hiring mopeds from the resort to explore the island... Lanta Old Town and the national park in particular are worth a visit if you can drag yourself away from the beach. And the Thai and oil massage at Narima is amazing for only 400 Baht (£9) for an hour.

Didn’t Leave Resort!

Narima has it all! Infinity pool, private beach that you can swim in, comfortable beach lounge chairs with towels, and beach bar. We are all our meals here, which was inexpensive but delicious. We enjoyed many Thai dishes and fresh fried red snapper by the beach bar at night. Massages available on the property which was lovely. Reserve bungalow A for Oceanside views. Bungalow was so nice inside, stocked minibar, balcony with two chairs and hammock. Only negative is the firm beds which seem to be everywhere in Thailand and family friendly resort with many children. As a couple, it was no problem though, as we were able to get away peacefully on the beach. Would stay again in heartbeat! Resort is a little out of town which we liked because we wanted relaxation. We only left resort to walk 5 min to the local gas station for cheaper soda/snacks.

We had a lovely stay during low season. It rained most of the time but we still found it to be a wonderfully relaxing stay. The staff is helpful, the food was excellent, the room was comfortable.

Enjoyable stay!

We stayed two nights at Narima and was really good.
The room was great, we didn't have any view (row C) but was ok, as we passed most of the time at the pool or the beach.
The breakfast was delicious, a lot of options. The restaurant around the beach is also really good. The private beach is a good deal, nice spot for sunsets.

A little piece of paradise!

Heaven! We loved it so much last year that we had to return and were delighted to find that nothing has changed. It's not 5 star luxury in the way of high end chain hotels but the Narima beats them hands down In our eyes. We were greeted with genuine warmth and smiles and that set the tone for the holiday.....an overall feeling of peace and calm pervades; the beach with its laid back bar is just stunning; the pool area provides shady respite and tends to be where families with young children get together; the staff are all friendly and helpful though not at all intrusive. You can do as much or as little as you want...I recommend hiring a moped from the hotel and exploring the island, it really is beautiful, and traffic is nowhere near as hectic as in other parts of Asia. We pottered along empty roads through coconut and rubber trees, stopping as we fancied for fresh coconut water and to admire the views, particularly heading across to Lanta Old Town on the opposite coast. If you prefer organised excursions such as elephant treks or diving, these can be arranged at reception. I can't praise Koh Lanta and The Narima enough....we will be back.

Can't wait to return!

Narima bungalow resort far exceeded our expectations. It is very professionally run with well trained staff. The setting on the beach surrounded by contained rainforest creates an atmosphere of authentic relaxation. All of our requests were immediately addressed allowing us to feel very well taken care of. We were pleased to find worthwhile snorkeling along the rocks and kelp beds to the right of the private beach and saw a very large angel fish on our first snorkel.

The Thai food served in their restaurant was exceptional and extremely fresh. The morning buffet breakfast was generous and the made to order eggs by one of their accomplished chefs was top rate.

An absolute must but beware the children!

First and foremost this is an amazing resort with stunning food, great beach (almost private) and brilliant staff! BUT...and this is a big consideration is that this is a FAMILY Resort. As such it seems to cater for the Dutch/German markets of famillies with babies and small toddlers. Whilst I dont mind kids the infinity pool and hot tub are almost always packed full of kids and their subsequent \"singing\". Breakfasts and Dinners on the beach are great but again only if you can cope with the ever present hordes of children. My partner and I loved our 1st row balcony bungalow as it was a positive oasis of calm and tranquility to watch the sea and the occasional monkey visitor!
As I said I absolutely loved our time here as the staff let you run up a tab on everything, so money doesnot have to be thought about at all
2 points I have to make: 1) Get a front row bungalow as these are stunning otherwise you will end up lying in your hammock looking at the back of someone hut and their air-conditioning unit, tather than the waves, palm trees and the glorious sunsets.
2) Whatever you might have read ALL BUNGALOWS HAVE THEIR OWN BATHROOMS!

Amazing Experience!!!! *Mosquito repellent a Must*

If you stay in this hotel you MUST choose row A in order to have thw ocean view the Andaman Sea has to offer... the row A bungalows are on top of the hill and so closr to the water that I ensured to leave the sliding door just a few inches open at night to hear the amazing sound of the waves ( door also has a mosquito screen so nothing to worry about insects at anytime).

Despite of the staff which seem not to be well trained and very likited english, this is a great hotel if you understand the meaning about traveling to these type of destinations. So be opened minded

Lastly theres is a celling fan and AC in each room so that makes it a plus. Try to rent a scooter at thw hotel for a full day for 100 bahts.. it is safe to drive here

Overall, go for it and ensure to have a great time

It's amazing we had 2 nights then went to lipi for2 nights, missed narima so as I write I'm back here watching the sunset with a cocktail. We cannot fault this place it should be five star.

We loved our stay here! It was a bit far from other places so we were happy that they had scooter rentals for 300 Baht per day so we could drive to other places to eat and see other parts of the island. But really the restaurant at Narima had very tasty Thai food. We loved swimming in the ocean at sunset each day and during the day as well. We spent a lot of time relaxing in our hammock. It was nice to be away from the crowds and have a quiet peaceful place. On the last day our shuttle showed up an hour early and the staff at Narima were kind enough to pack us some food to go (without us even asking) so we could eat on our long journey to Koh Tao the following day.

Fabulous hotel with incredible beach, beach bar, delicious food and drinks. Rooms are basic, but have all that you need. I was a bit hesitant about this hotel at first when booking, but loved it as soon as arrived on site. Perfect for relaxing on the beach!!!!!

Our first interaction was reception very negative. 7 of us showed up on 4 scooters with so so many bags after riding for an hour and sweating in the sun after being on a ferry after camping on a beach. We all looked super rugged I'm sure and only 4 of us were staying there, so a big dirty group probably looked shady to the Muslim lady who was running the desk. We had prepaid for our 2 rooms on hotels.com, but when we arrived she said no rooms were available and when we asked for a refund, she said we would need to call the agency and she couldn't help us. My friend demanded to see a manager and stated that we were not leaving without a room or a refund. Eventually we were showed to an sea view room which was an upgrade.

The rest of the stay was good! The beach in front of the hotel, the view from the porch and breakfast were all superb! Air con worked well and the room was nice.

I was really excited to see the monkeys living around the forest there until I found out they are macaques. Macaques are kind of dicks and can be aggressive around people, especially if you have food . I got charged by one on the way to breakfast and fell and started screaming and kicking until it went away, then housekeeping came running with slingshots to scare it away! After breakfast we saw a group of about 35 come through the area and when in groups they tend to mind there own business and want to eat, play and climb.

Monkey heaven!

We booked the same day on hotel.com and the front desk didn't have our reservation when we arrived, nor did they have the same class bungalow, so she tried to send us away. We prepaid, so we respectfully declined to leave and gently insisted that they either give us our money back or find somewhere to stay. After a lengthy phone call, the lady decided to upgrade us to a \"sea view.\"
So, this place is a ways up the cliff from the beach and its well in the jungle, so don't walk barefoot on the paths - we saw a LOT of millipedes. Our bungalow was big and the a/c worked well, but it seemed like it hadn't had anyone in it for awhile. There was a dead lizard covered with swarming ants in one corner by the bed next to a knothole in the wall that looked exactly like a cartoon mouse hole that led directly outside. There was also a weird bee vortex on the other side of the room with a dozen dead and dying bees in a corner of the room (and ants eating the dead ones). Once we got all the dead creatures cleaned up and out of the room, we still felt a little nervous about walking around barefoot, honestly. And the next morning - more bees, dead and dying in the same spot. Not a place to be barefoot.
Otherwise the room was quiet and comfy. The porch had a nice hammock and comfy chairs. The monkeys were going bonkers in the morning, so that was fun to watch, too. But the maids carry slingshots because they are such thieves. Worth 2900 baht, not 4000, IMO.

Relax in paradise

Big rooms, in the nature, simple living, very relaxing and calm, friendly service, great food, easy and amazing. Only complaint would be that kitchen closes at 8 pm. Without a motorbike theres no where to eat nearby. Otherwise highly recommended.

Narima Bungalow, er den perfekte oase for dig, der søger ægte Thailand ro.
Stemningen autentisk, og naturen er i højsædet. Man er tæt på de smukke strande og den frodige jungle, hvilket er ideelt for både eventyr og afslapning.

Væk fra de travle nordlige strande får man her en ro og skønhed, der virkelig lader én koble fra.

Narima er et must for naturelskere og dem, der ønsker en ægte island escape

Wir waren das 2. Mal im Narima. Es ist ein Schmuckstück auf dieser Insel. Service, Personal, bungalow alles super. Etwas weiter weg, aber mit Roller ist alles zu erreichen.
Ben und Tom an der Beachbar waren sehr coole Thais. Drinks und Essen waren hervorragend.

Fussläufig sind nur wenige Restaurants erreichbar, am besten hat uns das Restaurant direkt nebenan vom Coral Beach (rechts aus dem Hotel raus und nach 30 m wieder rechts rein) gefallen. Man sitzt hoch über dem Meer mit schönem Blick. Essen war lecker und bezahlbar.

Solides Resort mit Luft nach oben

Waren in einem A Row Bungalow. Die Sicht auf das Meer ist super schön. Der Bungalow Ansich hat mmn seine besten Jahre hinter sich. Ein leichtes müffeln war vorhanden, die Sanitäranlage ging auch gerade so. Allem um den Bungalow herum ist sehr \"naturbelassen\" um es nett auszudrücken.

Das Personal war nett.

Die Beach Bar ist super, der Ausblick toll.

Das Essen im Restaurant / Beach Bar war vom Geschmack her super - die Preise aber einen Tick zu hoch im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants.

Das Frühstück war sehr einfach aber auch ok.

Great bungalow resort

Great bungalow resort with private beach and really nice surroundings. The beach is a little rocky at low tide, but they also have a good pool. Friendly and good service, really nice restaurant at the beach - although the food is pretty average, you can get much better (and cheaper) food if you go to restaurants at the larger beaches, like Klong Nin, which is nearby. Overall a great stay, recommended.

Traumhafte Anlage, Bungalows in erster Reihe mit traumhaften Meerblick sowie spektakulärem Balkon, Hotel am Hügel, viele Treppen, für Kleinkinder ungeeignet, da viele (!) Absturzgefahren, tolle Strandbar mit liebevollem Ambiente, Strand toll, wenn nicht gerade der Müll aus Koh Phi Phi angespült wurde.

on voulait un endroit au calme, pas un grand complexe. pas déçu, bon emplacement.
pour les fêtards, hôtel très isolé.
on ne peut aller dans un resto ou bar en dehors que véhiculé (distance 3 km et dénivelé).
les chambres sont vieillottes, la propreté douteuse.
au final, pas cher pour le standard européen, mais cher pour la qualité et service.

Havre de tranquilité

Séjour lors d'un voyage en famille en Thaïlande.
Cette \"escale\" à Koh Lanta est un pur bonheur. Un peu éloigné (mais c'est tant mieux) des plages agitées (animations nocturnes, boites etc...), c'est un paradis pour tous.La plage de l'hôtel est propre (rare sur cette île).

Heal tasemel Eco Bungalow tüüpi hotell. Väga hea ja usaldusväärne teenindus. Kõik vajlik oli kättesaadav ja tehtud ääretult lihtsaks. Väikelapsi oli külaliste seas palju. Hotelli basseini kasutus oligi siiki rohkem väikelaste jaoks ja nende noortele emadele-isadele. Keskealine külaline eriti basseini kasutusele ei konkureerinud, käidi privaat rannas ja ujuti meres.

Supermooi bungalowresort op prachtige locatie

Bungalows verspreid over heel groen mooi stukje aan zee. A-bungalow echt aanrader want prachtig uitzicht. Erg kindvriendelijk! We reizen met baby en alle voorzieningen zijn er. Lief personeel, leuke beach bar! Wij waren er 7 nachten.

Funktionelle bungalows i flot natur.

Dejligt afslappende og roligt sted på en ellers travl og turistet ø.
Vi rejste med baby på 8 måneder - der var fin tremmeseng, højstole og restaurantenen kunne finde ud af at koge kartofler og grøntsager til mos.
Hotellet ligger ned til sin egen strand og alle bungalows ligger op af klippeskråningen. Alle A-række bungalows ligger med panoramaudsigt over havet - dog ikke fuldstændig fri havudsigt, da der junglen og palmer vokser op foran verandaen. Dejlig brise fra havet, og med myggenet for vinduer og døre var det muligt at undgå aircondition og nøjes med fan. Flot , stor og skyggefuld veranda med hængekøje og tørresnoren. B bungalows ligger i anden række, C ligger tæt på vejen med trafik. OBS Ingen bungalows helt nede på stranden. Flot arkitektur af bungalows, der er rummelig og rimelig tætte for kryb og kravl. Sengen var smal, hård og lidt for kort! Funtionelt badeværelse med elektrisk vandvarmer og ok tryk på vandet.
Stranden var fin med nogle klipper, som man dog nemt kommer uden om. Stor forskel på ebbe og flod. Ok snorkling fra stranden. Fin strandbar og liggestole med parasoller. Fin infinity pool med udsigt over havet - børnepool blev ikke renset ordentlig så den brugte vi ikke.
Ok restaurant, hovedretter omkring 200 baht - serverer også i strandbaren både dag og aften. Morgenmadsbuffet ok.

Fin resort i naturskjønne omgivelser

Vi bestilte pick up på flyplassen som aldri kom. Vi fikk refundert deler av beløpet vi brukte på transport dit uten at vi nevnte det ved ankomst. Vennlig personale, god mat, store bungalower og et yrende dyreliv i området!

Concernant le personnel, il manquait l'hospitalité thaïlandaise.Et surtout un sentiment de déranger.....
Les bungalows sont simples mais correctes, pas de Télévision dans les chambres comme indiqué lors de la réservation.
Emplacement agréable, belle piscine, plage privée. Mais...en basse saison/verte thaïlandaise tous les équipements sont INDISPONIBLES : Pas de plage aménagée, pas de transats, pas de parasols, pas de bar, pas de massage.....
Ne pouvant pas profiter de la plage et de la piscine , n'ayant pas de tv dans la chambre nous avons pensé profiter du restaurant pour passer le temps et là...............GRAND MOMENT DE SOLITUDE QUAND ON NOUS A ANNONCE QUE NOUS DEVIONS MANGER AVANT 20H00
Juste avant 9.00 h, alors que nous étions encore en train de diner, les lumières se sont éteintes et le personnel sans rien dire est parti....

Loin d'un accueil vraiment chaleureux.....
Nous avions réservé cet hôtel en rapport avec les remarques positives et la bonne impression que nous avions sur le site de l'hôtel, mais après notre séjour je ne recommanderais pas cet hôtel

Yleisesti mukava hotelli, hyvä aamiaisbuffetti ja kaunis luonnonläheinen alue. Olimme Narimassa 8 yötä ja sinä aikana huoneessa vieraili torakoita enemmän kuin tarpeeksi. Henkilökunta teki voitavansa niiden karkoittamiseksi mutta aina jokunen ötökkä pääsi yllättämään. Lähimetsän apinat tulivat usein alueelle etsimään ruokaa.

Første gang i Thailand, vellykket opphold.

Vi ble anbefalt Narima av min datter og svigersønn som bodde der for 4-5 år siden .Oppholdet svarte til forventningene.
Stedet ligger avskjermet for støy og mas fra veg eller andre hoteller. Det passet oss veldig bra, vi var ute etter et sted hvor vi kunne slappe av.
All ros til betjeningen, hyggelige, blide og på plass for å gi oss den beste service hele tiden.

5 nuit sur l'ile de koh lanta dans cet hotel : tres bonne adresse pour se reposer loin des flux de touristes du nord de l'ile.
Accueil tres chaleureux, ambiance familiale, où la confiance et la disponibilité des personnels règne.
Nombreuses familles nordiques ( suède ? ) avec des enfants en très bas âges ( pour ceux que ça pourrait gêner..) mais la taille et la disposition des locaux garantit assez la tranquillité.
La mer sur la petite plage privée rien est agréable mais peu de beaux poissons à observer...

Nydelig sted for an avslappende ferie. Anbefales.

Vi ønsket en stille og rolig ferie, og det fikk vi. Romslige bungalower og et flott sted med en kjempekoselig strand-bar. Stranden var usjenert og det var alltid god plass der. Maten var fantastisk. Prisnivået var litt høyere enn andre restauranter i nærheten, men absolutt verd det. Noen bagateller som trekker litt ned er litt dårlig renhold, men som Asia-standard helt greit. Og han ansvarlige i strandbaren var fantastisk sløv. Ellers veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Og det kunne vært ryddet mer i hagen/jungelen rundt bungalowene.

Dejligt hotel til afslapning

Hotellet ligger i de skønneste omgivelser med skov og strand, og området er stille og roligt. Personalet er venligt og behjælpsomt men mange talte ikke særlig godt engelsk. Poolen og de øvrige faciliteter på hotellet er helt i top. Værelserne var dog ikke helt fantastiske, f.eks. var vores aircondition meget upålidelig. Schönes Resort mit toller Strandbar

Wirklich schönes Resort mit tollem Restaurant und Strandbar. Die Bungalows liegen je nach Kategorie entweder direkt am Strand oder etwas am Berg im \"Dschungel\" (Wir hatten Reihe C Dschungel). Der Strand hat größere Felsen diese kann man aber gut umgehen, besonders bei Ebbe. Direkt am Strand liegt auch das \"Spa\", welches eine wirklich gute Massage bietet, Meeresrauschen inklusive. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und lecker. Besonders gut gefiel uns die Bar und das Restaurant.
Einziger Minuspunkt sind kleine Mitbewohner wie Ameisen oder kleine Kakerlaken. Ich denke diese lassen sich aber in Dschungelnähe einfach nie ganz fernhaften. War jetzt aber kein Drama und ich bin was sowas angeht sonst sehr empfindlich. Wir würden wiederkommen
