Paradise! The family garden villa was perfect for our family of four. An enormous emperor sized bed and two singles for the kids in two separate rooms. Two bathrooms and great air con.

Restaurant has a great view. Pool nice - although very busy with little ones.

The beach is quiet and peaceful with a few beach bars further up with good food.

The hotel is excellent value for money - Great rooms, big and well maintained pool, nice spa/massage parlor (which is a little more expensive than the local norm) and the beach on our doorstep. Breakfast is varied and good quality. The staff speak very good English at the reception and are very helpful.

On the quieter side of the island, perfect if that’s what you are looking for. The main pier for speedboats is about 40 mins away (if you are interested in day trips). The local beach is really fantastic - clean, nice sand, great water (good for kids) and beautiful sunsets. If you want nightlife and shops, the closest is 15 mins away at Khlong Nin.

Anda Lanta was quiet and peaceful. The resort is off the beaten path, about 30-40 minutes south of Saladan Pier. The resort is situated on a beach, which makes beach access convenient. The views are great and the Pearl Restaurant was very good! Lastly, the staff were extremely helpful. Our ferry from Koh Lanta to Phuket was cancelled through the night. We asked the reception, and they called the ferry service, confirmed the cancellation and refund, then scheduled us a private van from the resort all the way to Phuket.

Quiet and relaxing stay

Really good stay in Anda Lanta. Nice room with the amenities that we need. It was nice that the room has a sea view. The bed was comfortable, I appreciated when they started arranging my baby’s sleep blanket (initially they folded it but I think the housekeeping realised it was being used by my infant baby, they started arranging the bed with it). Food was standard. Nice selection of fruits during breakfast. The coconuts are tasty. Nice and quiet beachfront. They have a kid’s pool too. Refreshing welcome drink. Would have been nice if they transferred us to a lower floor when they saw that we have a baby and there were no lifts or ramps in the building. Plus points for the ramps in the garden area. Really good massage! Make sure you book one when you stay - this is one of our highlights during our stay.

Wonderful location on beautiful Klong Jark beach. Our third stay at Anda Lanta.
Excellent staff at the restaurant with good food.
Good breakfast with many choices.
Nice pool with two sections for small children.
But Anda Lanta, please make the pool area non smoking, it’s not nice to have people smoking in the pool area. Staff should keep a better eye at the pool area, this year people were even smoking marijuana in the children’s pool at times.

Our stay at Anda Lanta Resort was amazing! It’s hidden in a small bay at the bottom of Koh Lanta, close to the national park, waterfall etc.

The beach was great and there even was a small reef close to the shore.

Honestly, I had higher expectations for this hotel. Nothing exceptionally wrong, Staff were capable, but not engaging at all. Room was clean, but showing some wear. Food was reasonably good, but for the charge should be better. Beach is ok. Much better nearby. Very quite area which I appreciated. My overall stay was good, but not exceptional. I did rent a scooter and explored the area and was happy to come back to this hotel for peace and quiet.

This resort was a dream! The staff were so sweet and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The beach and pool were beautiful and great for swimming. The food in the restaurant was very good. This place was a relaxing escape from the touristy areas of Thailand. We did not have a vehicle but the hotel sent a car to pick us up and help set up a ride to the airport. If you were going to stay for more than 2-3 days, you may need to get a vehicle or scooter. We did not have kids with us but the resort appeared very kid friendly with a playground and kid friendly menus at the restaurant. We got amazing massages as well. I would totally stay here again, a nice relaxing part of our trip!

We stayed here for five nights in two different rooms. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, well maintained and with a semi private beach. This hotel is a bit out of the way but if you are looking for a quite laid back spot this is it. My one and only complaint would be the beds, they were really hard!!!

Anda Lanta is a nice resort in a quiet area of Koh Lanta close to the National Park. Very friendly staff and a nice property in need of some upgrades. Very nice motorbikes for rent and a decent restaurant on a beautiful cove. You can tell that they are updating things and it is coming along nicely but it is lacking the fit and finish of a newer resort.

If you come to Anda Lanta resort bear in mind that its location is at the very south of the island and in an area not so populated therefore services are rare or unavailable. For all your necessities you have to catch a taxi because no public transport is available. The hotel provides a taxi service that you pay according to the distance of your destination.
The hotel has a decent restaurant and a lovely beach which is not crowded. There is massage service but I didn’t use. The beach activities were more than enough for me and my husband.
Our room “de luxe with ocean view “ was spacious and always clean. The bathroom was comfortable. There was a balcony facing the ocean and it was soothing throughout our stay.
The staff is welcoming and always ready to help. If you are looking to relax and enjoy a quiet beach this is your resort otherwise find something else in the north tip of the island.

We booked two sea view rooms and we were given two rooms that looked at the parking lot and construction sight. I asked why we were not given the rooms we paid for and they said they didn't have any available all they offered was to give us a free dinner. Additionally the rooms did NOT HAVE HOT WATER, the internet didn't work in the rooms, the phones were broken in both rooms so could not call the front desk, the doors didn't close properly so mosquitos were a constant problem. Overall this place was totally overpriced for what you got - very unhappy

We stayed in a beachfront room for 4 nights. The resort and beach area are beautiful and quiet. It was a very relaxing few days. The food at the restaurants as well as down the beach were all good. We were able to easily rent a motorbike from the resort and explore lanta. The reception was so helpful with all that we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here.

overall, the resort is nice and the staff is helpful. However, they charge you for everything double and it feels that all they care about is money. The rooms are nice but smell like mold all the time. The island is infested with mosquitoes so if you attract them like I do, expect to be bitten to no end. It's a beautiful island but very secluded. The resort is far from town so you will need to take a taxi which is not cheap.

Great resort - uncomfortable bed

Really loved this resort except for one (and arguably the most important) thing. The bed was very uncomfortable. The staff were friendly and tried to do their best by adding extra doonas on top to make it softer but it didn’t really help. Honestly for the price they’re charging (over 220 AUD per night) I was expecting a better quality mattress. Apart from that the resort is fabulous. Great location, clean, good food and on the best beach on Koh Lanta.

Great overall at an amazing serene beach location. The views and the beach access are superb. The check in process is smooth and pleasant, the spacious rooms are readily available. We ate at the hotel restaurant many times since it was convenient, had an amazing beach view, and offered a broad menu selection of tasty food and a cocktail happy hour. The hotel staff is very attentive and responded well to our questions and needs, with reasonable English proficiency in most cases. Our room and all the facilities were clean and taken care of. Definitely good value at the price point.

A couple of improvement areas. The wifi connection was quite terrible throughout the complex and rooms and was slow when it worked. At the reservation time it should be made clear that the hotel offers a nice van transfer from-to the ferry terminal for a reasonable price, which we took on the way back, instead of the expensive and uncomfortable open truck ride we took from the ferry terminal. I wish the hotel let us know in advance that their van transportation was available.

A lost paradise with a private beach, surrounded by the forest, and in the middle of the nowhere. Ideal spot for families with young children or people stressed from their daily like that want to reconnect with the world. Good for the last 3/4 nights of your holiday in Thailand, but I would not spend more time because it can become too quite. The resort offers a car rental to go out and visit Ko Lanta (we did it for 1 full day), but spending all that money to sleep in there to then going away defeats the purpose (and there is not much to do anyway). We (2 adults + 1 two-years old child) spent 4 nights there and we loved it. We had a group of monkeys visiting the pool in the middle of the day, with few monkeys jumping for a bath!! It has been amazing because the resort is far away from towns and that animals are not lured there for the tourists.

The restaurant is the weak aspect of the resort. It ok for breakfast, but not for dinner. There are 3 other restaurants just on the beach that are cheaper, much nicer and offer fire shows in the evening

Gorgeous location right on one of the prettiest beaches we found in Koh Lanta. Rooms were very large and the property grounds were gorgeous and very well maintained. Pool was large and plenty of lounge beds at the pool and on the beach. The restaurant was great for dinner and the breakfast each morning was very large with lots of options. The free kayaks were fun to take out and the on site scooter rental was very convenient as you can not really walk anywhere from the hotel other than the neighboring bar and another restaurant/bar, which are both nice as well.

Good location but rooms need some attention

Nice reception and pool area - the first hotel we stayed out which had a refreshingly cold swimming pool! Location on the beach is great - in a quiet area but the hotel offer a payable car service to nearby Kantiang Bay. Hotel restaurant I see lacking atmosphere Andy everything tends to shut early - one evning we were the only ones in the bar and they started turning the lights off at 9.30pm when the bar is supposed to stay open until 11pm! Our room was ok but a little disappointing - we'd paid extra for a deluxe room which was spacious and the bedroom was confortable, however, the interiors were starting to look worn and dated, especially the bathroom which was very old fashioned. My sister paid less for a superior room and had a better sea view and a clean, modern bathroom - the only difference was was the room was slightly smaller so I'm not sure the \"deluxe\" status is justified.

Totally unspoilt resort which gave us the most relaxing holiday we’ve ever had. It’s a small, private resort situated directly in the beach with everything on site near to hand. Very quiet place. If you like hustle and bustle, this resort is not for you as there are limited options on what you can do. You need to use taxis or motorbikes to go anywhere as it’s pretty isolated.
Having said all that, we wanted total peace and quiet and that’s what we got..
only downside is that it’s a 2!hour journey from the airport but we found it was worth it.

A peaceful time at a 3x resort that felt like 4.5x

I absolutely loved my 3 night stay at the Anda Lanta Resort. The staff was so warm and friendly at check-in and I was brought by a comfortable van from the Pier that the hotel arranged. The welcome drink was tasty and very nice to have a refreshing cold towel at arrival and the lobby of the hotel was absolutely gorgeous decor. Pool and Beach Facilities: The pool at this place was amazing as it was very clean, the chairs were comfortable, and umbrellas were there if you wanted some shade. I also loved the beach as it was quiet and empty with plenty of chairs including chairs in the shade. The hotel was very generous in allowing the kayaks to be rented free of charge which was a fun adventure. The Room: The room was very spacious that I stayed in and the air conditioning ran very well for keeping the room cool. The bed was comfortable and the room felt clean. The room is slightly dated, but I didn’t mind that and did have a slight musky smell, but you are staying in a wet tropical climate so I didn't let that bother me, but was slightly noticeable at first. I was very comfortable in my room. Staff: The staff here were absolutely wonderful! I thought they were all very friendly. Restaurant: The restaurant had a large menu including many vegetarian options which was nice for me as I am a vegetarian. The staff was very attentive, good food quality, fast service, and reasonable prices.

Nice resort on an amazing/quieter beach

Great time at Anda Lanta Resort. It's on the south end of the Island which was quieter and more secluded but that's exactly why we loved it. It was easy to rent a motorbike right from the resort and take it around the Island. I also liked that they had snorkels and kayaks for use. The room did smell a bit off at times but it was not too bad. A beautiful mix of jungle and ocean! We would stay there again.

We loved the hotel. Our villa was in really good condition and it was very comfortable. The pool was great for lounging. The beach is really beautiful and great for a quiet time. Since it's the south of the island, it is a lot more private which is what we were looking for. We were able to rent motorbikes from the front desk to explore the rest of the island including Lanta Old Town and the National Park.

Quiet spot but great!

The hotel was so peaceful, located at the quiet southern tip of the island. This is a great spot if you want a quiet and relaxing stay. There are some great little bars and restaurants fairly close by and the hotel well take you and pick you up whenever you like for a small fee.
The room itself was very spacious, and well equipped, although no in room safe was available. The air con was excellent, although ours could be a little noisy at times.
The hotel breakfast was pretty good, the bar had a great selection of cocktails and the restaurant was decent enough, but there are too many great little places around to spend every night in the hotel.
The pool was a great spot to relax and cool down, and the beach was right there on the doorstep.
We hired scooters from the hotel a couple of days and had a great time touring the island. I love this place.

A pleasant place at a good price point

My wife and I stayed here for four nights in April. We had a wonderful time. There was a mix up regarding a snorkelling excursion, so we weren't able to go, but the reception staff were extremely helpful and apologetic---going so far as to book us on another excursion free of charge.

The beech and the area are quite beautiful. Both a national marine park and mountain hike are minutes away.

Very relaxing and quiet!

Very relaxing resort at the southern, quiet end of Koh Lanta. I stayed in a Deluxe Hill Front Room, which I would definitely recommend. It had a beautiful view of the beach and sea, and was quiet and set back from the rest of the resort. The cottages/rooms that are close to the beach aren't so private. Sure, you might have a good view of the water, but also many people walking by the front of your cottage, too. The restaurant was good overall. The beach was beautiful. It's a bit rocky at low tide in front of the resort, but all you have to do is walk one minute down the beach, and you'll find a wide expanse without any rocks. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect for Families. Quiet area

Anda Lanta Resort is a perfect escape for a Families.
Its located in the south of the island not far from Kantiang Bay, which is the nicest area of the island. (nothing for party people). The rooms were spacious and very clean. Our sheets were changed every day. The Staff was very helpful and friendly.
The beach is great. The Food at the Hotel is OK.
Quiet cool Thai-style bar on the same beach not far from the Hotel. They also have fire show on some nights. Next to the bar is also a travel agent where you can book tours and rent a motorbike cheaper than the lobby.
I can recommend this Hotel for Families and people who just want to relax on the beach and enjoy a quiet holiday.

We stayed for a week at the Anda Lanta Resort. We had a great time, and the resort performed up to expectations in all aspects. A comfortable room, a very nice beach and a nice pool, a restaurant with tasty food and friendly staff. What we didn't know upfront was that the place was so family-oriented: lots of guests with babies and toddlers. They cater well for it; it's a good place to stay with a little one. We don't have a lot of comments of the type \"this is what they could do better\"; here are some small ones:
- the driver that was to pick up up from the ferry pier didn't show up; we had to call the resort and wait half an hour
- like in many hotels, electricity in the room depends on inserting the room key tag in a slot; unfortunately this also includes the electricity for the fridge (which we figured out the hard way)
- one afternoon when we wanted to rent a scooter, there weren't any available
Nevertheless, overall a really good place that we would recommend to anyone.

A gorgeous spot away from the busiest places

This is a lovely place in a gorgeous setting. My wife and I were taking a few days r&r after a grueling trip through Myanmar. This was the perfect solution - comfortable accommodations, away from the busiest parts of the island, friendly staff, good service. This is not the most luxurious place around, but it was plenty nice for our tastes (this is not to say that it is not a first class resort, just that it's not super-luxurious).

lovely resort, quiet and family orientated

Positives: beautiful surroundings - secluded beach, wonderful views from beach front villa/restaurant and nearby restaurant (noon), free kayaks, very big and clean room/bathroom, very clean public spaces - including the beach (cleaned daily by a team of hotel staff), it attracts many families with small kids (all very well behaved!) so it's a great atmosphere for us who is also traveling with a family

negatives: unable to get to shops or have more restaurant options without transport (walking to the next 'town' is about 20 mins - we tried this - but there is no pedestrian paths and we walked on the main roads where cars and mopeds sped by); because of this the resort should've sold things like sunscreen, bandages... Restaurant food really isn't that great. It's ok and the view is great but we have had much better Thai food everywhere else we went in Ko Lanta and Ao Nang. (did not try western food). The staff seemed to work very long hours and I think they weren't as friendly and welcoming as other Thai people we've met. Though they speak fluent English and were able to assist with all our needs.

Too expensive for what you get

I booked this hotel thinking that it would be luxurious, as it was almost double the price of the other (very nice) hotels during my trip. Sadly, the facilities are mediocre. I would be pleased to pay about 1/3 of what I paid for a room; but this hotel is way too expensive.

The room was spacious and had a nice bathroom. It all just felt very run down.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They all seemed to speak English. The breakfast was made to order (but you could order as much as you wanted), which was very nice.

Unfortunately, there are no good restaurants on the strip of beach. The resort restaurant is good, but certainly too expensive. The restaurant next door was terrible--the absolute worst mango sticky rice I have ever had.

I was happy with the free kayaks and the cheap motorbikes. I would go back to Koh Lanta, but I wouldn't stay at Anda Lanta again.

The hotel is very far from the night market et the “center” of koh lanta. some taxi drivers didn’t want to bring us to the hotel because it is super far. The infrastructure is used, a little renovation is definitely needed. The staff was very friendly. I think you can get something better for the price.

Valde De Lux Forestview, bättre än förväntat med stor balkong och utsikt. Frukost var ok men miljön i restaurangen var som en enda stor rörig stökig (periodvis) skolmatsal. Servicen varierad, orutinerad personal som ofta kände sig obekväma. Besöket var ett skådespel när man själv är i branschen :)

Das Hotel liegt viel zu weit im Süden, die Straßen sind sehr kurvig und hügelig. Das Personal war nett und das Zimmer war auch OK. Es gibt sehr sehr viele Affen in der Anlage, weshalb man nichts unbeaufsichtigt lassen kann. Nicht mal die Balkontür kann offen bleiben. Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis vom Taxi und von der Massage ist nicht angemessen. Für 5 Minuten Fahrt zahlt man 250 THB. Die Massage war eine der Schlimmsten die wir je in Thailand hatten. Unsere Wäsche hat nach dem Laundry Service gestunken, sodass wir alles neu waschen mussten. Wir würden diese Anlage generell nicht empfehlen.

Hotel war sauber und Personal war sehr nett. Restaurant im Vergleich zu umliegenden Restaurants recht teuer und der Service ist sehr langsam aber freundlich.

Das Wasser in unserem Zimmer hat die ersten Tage sehr stark gerochen. Der Boiler wurde umgehend vom Personal gereinigt, aber ein leichter Geruch Bestand weiterhin.

Wir waren ansonsten sehr zufrieden - schönes Zimmer, Lage direkt am Strand und ruhig. Rollerverleih und Transfer haben über das Hotel gut funktioniert. Beim Transfer mit geteiltem Van sollte darauf geachtet werden, dass Koffer nicht inkludiert sind (Hinweis hatte leider gefehlt und es kam beim Einstieg zu Diskussionen).

Very nice resort

Very nice and a bit remote location spot on the beach which is a little rocky. a few option for food on the beach ... a little supermarket across the street. Scooter rental works perfect. Has a little new fitness and does the trick. Very friendly and helpfull staff. The beds are awesome and kitchen / breakfast is very good. Lovely pool area and clean.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, in der Preisklasse bekommt man weitaus neuere Hotels.
Wir haben uns an einem Tag einen Roller gemietet, es ist nicht möglich, den Roller vorab zu reservieren.
Wer zuerst kommt, bekommt den Roller. Das heißt man muss früh aufstehen und gleich an die Rezeption (7:00 Uhr)

Das Hotel selbst ist sehr weit im Süden der Insel. Somit muss man überall mit dem Roller/Taxi fahren.

Der Nationalpark liegt in der Nähe (ca. 5 -7 Minuten mit dem Roller) des Hotels - muss aber auch mit einem Roller/Taxi angefahren werden, da der Weg zu Fuß zu weit ist.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Am Besten eignet sich diese für einen Entspannungsurlaub zu zweit oder mit der Familie. Fußläufig ist nicht viel erreichbar und man muss zwangsläufig einen Roller mieten oder Taxi fahren. Da wir leider keine Erfahrung mit einem Roller hatten, wurde uns leider keiner verliehen. Daher auch 1 Punkt Abzug. Ansonsten war der Service und die Organisation vom Hotel mit Transfer und Touren hervorragend. Das Essen ist lecker und man muss mit westlichen Preisen rechnen. Es wird kostenloses Kajak fahren angeboten und den Wasserfall kann man besichtigen.
Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden, da wir dem Alltag entkommen und einfach Mal entspannen konnten.

Quiet beach and very friendly staff. It is far away from shops or anything so you need to rent a scooter to go anywhere or take a taxi which is very expensive. You can buy a lot of things at the hotel but it is a bit expensive. In total I can recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quiet place to stay.

Lugnt och rofyllt ställe. Skugga för barnen finns både vid poolen och stranden. Stora rum med stora terasser. Lite omysig och något dyr restaurang men det finns tre små mysiga ställen på stranden där man kan äta både frukost och middag. Uppe vid vägen finns också några få enklare ”gatustånd” med typ Pad Thai och en liten ”butik” med lite frukt och snacks. Blöjor och liknande bör man dock ha med sig.

Wunderschönes Resort direkt am Strand

Sehr schönes Resort im Süden von Ko Lanta mit fast Privatstrand. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer bzw. Bungalows sind schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das einzige Manko hierbei ist die doch recht harte Matratze, was aber einem erholsamen Schlaf nicht entgegensteht. Die Anlage ist direkt am Strand, sehr gepflegt und mit vielen Palmen und anderen Pflanzen wie ein Park gestaltet. In der Umgebung befinden sich mehrerer Restaurants, Beachbars und ein Minimarkt. Touren und Transfer können direkt in Hotel gebucht werden. In diesem
Resort kann man sich bestens erholen und die Seele baumeln lassen.

Great resort for relaxing around calm beach with nice pool and habitations. Friendly staff. Breakfast was the best I've had in Thailand, although there wasn't any fresh fruit juices, but maybe the concentrate juices are a thing in Thailand as it's like that everywhere.

Top - Best Place for couples

More than I expected. The beach is quiet, beautiful surroundings, it is possible to make many trips here, either to the jungle and to elephants, or to the islands, diving, there is the possibility of kayaking ... In the evening, prepare for the little lizards that run everywhere, even in bungalows - so you need to close your windows and doors all the time, even keep things from the balcony, because you have small monkeys, but if they want, they steal your shoes like me: D I found them :) - but these animals are part of Koh Lanta, a wonderful place for couples, families, children - the staff is amazing, friendly - they can also devote to children during breakfast or dinner. I will not describe the food - it must be experienced. We go to different places in the world, but here it is at a high level - I greet the manager. Also thanks to this place, I will have beautiful memories of Thailand - Thank you for doing things with heart.

Vacanza con sorpresa

Anche se avevamo prenotato per il periodo di capodanno molto tempo prima per me mia moglie e per i miei due bambini, appena arrivati in albergo ci chiedono che non erano stati conteggiati i miei figli per il cenone di capodanno, alche restati un po sorpresi della cosa, chiediamo quanto è la differenzia e ci sparano 2000 bat a persona quindi avremmo dovuto dare 4000 bat che in euro sono circa 120,00 per una cosa che non era citata da nessuna parte al momento della prenotazione, non sapevamo che eravamo obbligati a partecipare all'evento.
Al nostro rifiuto hanno provato a dire che avrebbero cercato di farci uno sconto del 50% ma al nostro nuovo rifiuto ci hanno in fine detto che andava bene anche cosi, a questo punto ci e sembrato solamente un modo per estorcere altro denaro.
E guardando poi lo svolgimento della cerimonia abbiamo fatto più che bene, pensavamo ad una cena di gala e invece e stata una semplice cena a buffet con tanto di coda per servirsi come alle mense militari.
Aggiungendo, che dopo essere stati obbligati a pagare 4000 bat fra me e mia moglie, somma ben al di sopra di una cena comunissima in Thailandia, non hanno neanche previsto di mettere da bere a tavola neanche l'acqua, ci siamo serviti da bere da soli nei distributori dell'acqua potabile come gli ultimi assetati.
Secondo il nostro parere, per una struttura cosi bella hanno davvero perso di stile.

Dans l’ensemble tout c’est très bien passé, cependant très loin de toute commodité (calme et reposant, sauf pour la piscine) !
Lit très grand mais couverture trop petite ...
nous vous conseillons de louer les scooters à la sortie de l’hôtel (moitié prix).
