Huge comfortable bed and room. Separate dressing room with ample clothes and suitcase storage. Big bathroom. Lovely interesting beach. Fine sand and separate rocky areas. Nice pool & enough sunbeds. Couple of nice restaurants either side but one played loud music until 10.30-11pm. I would go back.

Lovely quiet property on a great beach. Walkable to several restaurants and a lively bar with great nightly fire show next door. Great spot to \"recharge\" after visiting other very busy Thailand destinations. Would definitely stay here again.

Property location is ideal and gardens pool small but lovely . Same as other guests the lack of storage options in a room needs reviewing as we had a suite and still there there only small hanging space and no cupboards drawers etc so had to lay clothes out in sofa . Also slightly dated decor but the bed very comfortable and great size. Staff very attentive and food options with at the restaurant offered fair variety

Location on a quiet walking beach, beautiful garden area, wonderfully helpful and attentive and gracious staff, included breakfast was very nice, view from second story room was expansive, excursions and scooters were easily arranged through reception!

Perfect beach location, one of the best I have stayed at. The rooms are spacious overlooking a picture perfect beach. Rooms are a bit old looking, but more than made up for by size and location.

On the best beach on the island. Hotel could be great. Needs some maintenance. Staff need to put their phones down and take care of the customers. No coffee left at breakfast/bread with an hour before it finishes and no one checking if anything needs replenishing. Room very spacious

Large, beautiful room in adobe-style resort, beautiful view of beach, balcony. Helpful service. In May (off-season) some of the restaurants and shops that are a short walk from the hotel were closed.

A large spacious room with interesting ensuite bathroom on the first floor overlooking a lovely bay.

We enjoyed our stay, but was a bit baffled by not having our room serviced until we asked at 3pm particularly since there were not many guests. We had towels changed oncein 5 days which is fine as they are trying to be conservative, but should still do room service earlier. Pleasant staff always willing to be of assistance. Nice relaxing stay, good food, reasonable price. Alcohol expensive and not worth buying fancy drinks....much better at place next door.

Charming Hotel, Charming Staff, Perfect Spot

A small and beautiful hotel, nestled away on a beautiful beach with only a few rooms. A real escape from the hustle and bustle of the real world.
The staff make this hotel special, very helpful and always polite and happy. The rooms are a little dated, but clean and everything works, and it creates a feeling of old world charm that is perhaps missing in many hotels in the area. The grounds are wonderful, green, lush and full of life.

Spacious yet rooms

Every room is individually designed, very spacious with lots of lovely details. Beautiful garden with a small pool. The hotel lies in a small bay without rocks in the south end of Koh Lanta close to the national Park.

A Gem right on Andaman Sea

The hotel is located right on the beach. I can see Andaman Sea from my bed. The hotel's design blends well with the natural environment. The products given to guests are ecologically friendly. it is an easy walk to shops and eating places. The service is friendly and professional.
It is a very relaxing place. Will visit again soon!

First off the location is good the only thing is the beach has alot of rocks, the best pad Thai I had on our trip so far was at a place not far from the hotel called PadThai Rocks, it's a must go to eat there, room was big kind of felt like you were the Flintstones had that made of rock feel to it a bit outdated but overall decent, there were alot of ants that I found mostly in the bathroom.

Walking distance from the beach

Loved this hotel! Would give 5 stars, but unfortunately the sink in my room had a piece missing and I ended up cutting my thumb open on it minutes of being there. Aside from that, the hotel is stunning!

Good Hotel in a Great Setting

We booked 3 nights initially and after exploring the island and seeing other hotels we decided to extend our stay 3 more nights. The staff was very attentive to all of our requests and it was always done with a big smile! Best service we had in Thailand, seemed more genuine than the other big western hotels we stayed in other cities. Pool is on the small side but after you take into consideration the size of the hotel it's really a good size with plenty of chairs and sun beds. The proximity to the beach and restaurants/bars around made Phra Nang Lanta the perfect spot to end our Honeymoon. Only complaint was the wi-fi was very hit and miss, but actually turned out to be a good thing not being reachable all the time

A superb place to stay in an unpolished paradise

It's right on the beach, walk from the private room/villa through the hotel's relaxed garden area and be on to the sand in thirty seconds. Lovely decoration in the room and hotel, less is more design, with a Moroccan feel. The biggest bath I have ever had. View from the giant bed looks out over the beach. We stayed in Fire-something room, it was beautiful. Balcony overlooks the bay.

Peaceful and tranquil. The area is a true escape from reality of jobs etc. The piece of coast that the hotel is situated on, is a beach with a few other hotels and two bars/places to eat. The beach is tranquility, and you are not competing for space. I would certainly recommend staying here for the classic: pool, bar and beach, holiday. Not much else in the hotel, you don't need it. For a quiet and rejuvenating stay, this is the place for a lovely long week.

Lovely staff, relaxed locals happy to help but not intrusive to your chilled out visit. Roof top massages available. Food a little pricey compared to restaurants in the area. Pool nice and small, some problems with algae during our stay. Good breakfast but please chill the milk and butter. Popular with kids and families. Walk ten minutes up the road to feed a baby elephant. Luxurious, laid back and relaxed.

Beautiful spacious room with fantastic view. But management need to find and kill the smell in the fridge/cloth hanger/bathroom area. Moved from upstairs room to another ground floor room because of the smell but still there is in the second room but not as bad.

Dreams brought into reality.

Great position for the beach and sea views. Lots of restaurants nearby near the beach as well as their own with reasonably priced authentic Thai cooking.

We had great personal attention from all the staff and nothing was too much trouble.

Not a great choice in food but what they had was cooked to a high standard.

Only down factor was they only had a small pool but sea was great to swim in.

Svært at give en samlet anmeldelse.

Vi havde først booket 3 nætter gennem hotels.com og var meget tilfredse med det første værelse. Det eneste her var at sengen var noget hård.

Vi valgte at booke 3 nætter mere på hotellet. Vi skiftede til et andet værelse, som ikke var ligeså godt vedligeholdt (også stadig hård seng). Afløbet i bruseren var totalt stoppet og lugtede og vi klagede over det flere gange. Personalet kom med svupper og duftspray, som kun midlertidigt løste problemet indtil næste bad. Vi er noget utilfredse over håndteringen af problematikken.

Begge værelser kunne dog godt bruge at gulvet dagligt blev vasket pga. sand osv.

Samlet set var morgenmaden rigtig god. Standen var rigtig fin med gode snorkeling muligheder. Poolområdet var også rigtig fint. Byen var stille og rolig med en 7-Eleven og et par spisemuligheder.

Der er en del dyreliv ved hotellet. Mange eremitkrebs, små gekkoer og frøer samt er der er næsehornsfuglepar, der næste dagligt besøger hotellet.

Stranden lige foran hotellet er fyldt med sten, men 30 meter længere henne er stranden ganske god.
Der kunne godt være solsenge direkte på stranden, og ikke kun ved poolområdet.

Jättefint hotell med ett fantastiskt bra läge och vacker utsikt från rummet.
Tyvärr var frukosten riktigt fattig… Saknade yoghurt och någon form av pålägg.
Receptionen kunde knappt någon engelska så det var svårt med kommunikationen.
Men förutom det rekommenderar jag detta hotellet.

Flott beliggenhet, men det er nok brukt lite penger på vedlikehold de siste årene. Lå også tett opptil en bar som spiller høy musikk til sent på kvelden. Helt ok om du er ute etter en fest, men litt slitsomt om du ønsker en rolig kveld.

Séjour de rêve dans 1 cadre idyllique avec 1 bémol

Le seul petit détail qui nous a été désagréable, et qui ne dépend pas du staff et de son savoir faire, était le voisinage du bar où tous les soirs jusqu'à 23h/minuit on avait de la musique live.
Pour un séjour calme et un peu loin du tumulte de Koh Lanta, et des autres îles, l'hôtel Phra Nang Lanta a été parfait pour nous. La plage est fabuleuse. L'hôtel a une taille raisonnable et le personnel était très attentionné.

Wonderful location at Kantiang bay. Rooms are spacious and clean. Same as the bathroom. Unfortunately the shower in our room had no pressure at all. Balcony is also spacious with a wonderful view. If you like to have a quiet night, then request a room as far as possible away from the Why Not bar.

The breakfast is really too poor. Frozen bread is served (thrown in a basket). Some fruits on a platter but full with ants... the hot breakfast meals were each morning cold. After a talk with the manager there was some improvement. Croissants, danish and some muffins were added. But for this kind of hotel the breakfast should be automatically with more variety.

The pool contains too much chlorine. 3 of our group 5 got damaged skin from being in the pool. Some extra sun beds would be great too. And the broken beds should be fixed or replaced.
