Liked the friendly check-in man who put me at ease. Room was spacious and attractive. Shuttle bus service from airport was easy to find despite being (as far as I could tell) as far from the terminals as you could get. The bar area was very busy and the lady who was managing access asked us to sit nearby and our orders would soon be taken. That’s what happened and we enjoyed our drinks without ever seeing inside the bar.

The area is beautiful. We enjoyed the views. Check in was through a machine which is never easy but we got it done. The baked goods in the lobby were nice as was the choice of restaurants. Room was comfortable. We would stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Clayton Dublin Airport and would describe the experience as generally good, but not exceptional. Check‑in was smooth, staff were courteous, and the location is undeniably convenient for early flights.

However, my Hotels UK Platinum Tier made no noticeable difference to the stay, which was disappointing. At £175–£200 per night, I expected better room comfort. The room had no air‑conditioning, and on a warm day even a fan wasn’t provided when my colleague requested one. For a hotel in this price bracket, that felt like a miss.

Overall, an OK stay, functional and convenient, but lacking the premium touches and missing out on a basic comfort expected at this rate.

Staff is not trained. Checkout: he didn’t do ANYTHING: looked at our bill and said we were free to go. We had a parking voucher with Expedia he should have given us a parking pass to get out of lot. We ended up paying to get out of lot. Expedia just put the pass back on our account instead of the refund we asked for.
Room service was good but they forgot to charge us. Tried to pay at checkout but he wouldn’t add it….?
Checkin: took forever because she was fumbling around trying to figure out Expedia.

Location for traveling is convenient and the shuttle to the airport was helpful. Charlotte who assisted us with changing rooms was a godsend. She was not only helpful but understanding of our situation. She really cared that we under estimated the bed sizes and needed more room. The Lobby and lounge were lovely. Really enjoyed our stay.

Be sure you check to see if your room has air conditioning- the deluxe rooms do NOT, only the executive rooms. Furthermore, the AC was not even working in the majority of the executive rooms so we were unable to change rooms. A very hot, and humid sleep.

Room was spacious and clean. Had a meal in the bar and it was “fine” - price as expected for airport hotel and food quality very average. Breakfast was ok - reasonable selection, nice dining area - unfortunately there was a bit of a staff altercation with the chef at hot foods (yelling etc) that was a little uncomfortable. It was very hot in Dublin the day we stayed and we certainly wished there was air conditioning!

Very convenient hotel with airport shuttle service. Vg restaurants on site. But like most hotels in Ireland they don’t have air conditioning and the planes start rolling at Dublin airport at 5:45am. When it gets hot for those few days a year it is stuffy even with a fan.

Checked in only around 9:30 PM, despite having air conditioning in the room it was turned off, and even after turning it on there was not enough time to cool off the room overnight. It was hot and stifling, barely able to sleep. Had someone come and check the AC, they simply said it would take a while to actually have an effect (turns out 8 hours was not enough time.)
The small fridge in the room also did not provide adequate refrigeration.
Room did not provide enough towels and face cloths for the number of guests. A call to front desk and they were unable to provide an extra pillow.
Apart from front desk where staff was friendly and easy to understand, in other areas like the bar it was hard to make ourselves understood, and difficult to understand bar person (we are English speakers).
Was not worth nearly 400 euros to have an uncomfortable night’s sleep and to have to go to the airport more exhausted than if we had slept in our car.

This hotel is well-located for Dublin airport and has a frequent, reliable, clean shuttle with drivers who help with luggage. The hotel is upscale, rooms well-decorated, great sound-proofing, strong shower with fluffy towels, a room safe, tea/coffee & cookies, very comfortable mattress and plump pillows. My only criticism, and it is a huge one, is that the hotel is NOT AIR-CONDITIONED. It would have been nice if this had been noted on the website. Therefore beware of this when booking during months that could experience a heat wave. You might end up on upper floor with windows that do not open very much. My only other comments are minor and that is 1)the bottom sheets was not fitted and our bed was made up in such a way that the bottom sheet was too short to tuck in on one side of the bed. This made for lots of straightening bed sheets during the night and 2) the shower, as in most European hotels, was enclosed by only half a glass panel which always results in water on the bathroom floor! On the plus side there was a facecloth, rare in Europe but much appreciated. And the shampoo, liquid hand soap, body gel and body lotion were good quality. We would stay here again - but only in cool months!!!

I booked this, whole quite pricey, because of the great reviews! While it had very clean rooms (very important yes), there is NO AIR CONDITIONING unless you book a deluxe room (didn’t know!) it was HOT in Dublin and therefore HOT it my room. Second, nobody answers the front desk phone and so non questions or requests are answered unless you go down in person…and it was hot! Finally, the shuttle to the airport…another important reason I booked! Waited 25 mins on check in evening…and then queued up at 3:35am on departure day and had to wait through TWO LINES and two buses to make it on…first driver had 6 empty seats that I could count and didn’t let anyone else on. Second driver was an absolute joy and doing the best he could, obviously! That all said, I’ll never stay here again…the lack of communication and care for the customer is clear here and paying almost $250 for about 12 hours of terrible service is not on my “do again” list.

Likely one of the worse rooms I had stayed in. Super long walk with poorly insulated windows facing the highway and runway. Ultra loud. Wall clearly had a water leak that had been painted over. Shower curtain was too long for the shower and had soap scum at the bottom (then only use 1 curtain without a liner). Power outlet in the bathroom did not work. Trying to find another room was not possible.
Charged me $230 for 7 hours of use. Should've spend $250 and stayed at Crown Plaza.
Avoid this place!

Loved our one night stay, wished we could have stayed longer. Not much around the area but a really clean and comfortable hotel. We ate at the pizza bar after a late flight and it was good. There is a gas station and papa Murphy’s pizza across the street. Will definitely stay again for airport travel.

Clean and convenient! We stayed here for an early flight out. Easy and free transportation to and from airport through hotel shuttle. We took a side trip to Malahide as our last outing in Ireland and it was about a 15 minute ride there and worth a quick trip. The only reason I gave the hotel four stars is because during our stay, the room was warm and we couldn’t control the temp. Beds were comfortable and pillows great! Breakfast was plentiful. Lots of options to choose and big space. It was worth the extra dollars. I would recommend staying here.

The air condition was broken in our room so they moved us to a new room, which the air condition was also broken in. There was a box fan. The rug had stains on it that seemed very old and ingrained. Beds were comfortable. Party happening on the lobby floor in a party room. Music could be clearly heard in the rooms we were in but ended about 10:30pm. The shuttle was very useful and convenient.

No air conditioning and windows that only open an inch or two is rough on a warm or sunny day. Our room was not comfortable for sleeping. Despite booking for 3, we had 2 towels and 2 mugs. Check in and out was all virtual so no interaction with staff. Our meal in the Italian restaurant was tasty, but we asked for a second drink that never arrived. The airport shuttle worked well though I suggest the driver announce the two stops as riders were confused about when to get off.

Upon checking in the staff was aware that the air conditioning didn’t work. They actively put Expedia clients in that area. The hallway was 15° cooler than the room. When we asked for a fan we were told to open the window. The window opening was less yah. One inch on an inside block. No air came through. We asked for a Dan again and was brought one at 2am.

Were told by the staff that the 'on site' Restaurant (ITALIAN) would serve us provided we arrived by 10:15pm. We got there early at 9:35pm and they would not seat us - OPTING instead to offer us 'take-out' ONLY. Just arrived into our rooms - rushed to get there and no effort was made to accommodate us.

Other than that - the only other complaint was that the shower was dirty.

Bar Staff were very friendly/helpful and attentive.

This hotel offers a shuttle (a bus) to the Dublin airport. It may also offer a shuttle from the airport, but we were unable to use it and took a taxi instead. The hotel is clean, relatively new, and offers an Italian restaurant and bar on the premises. We ate at the restaurant and found it reasonably priced considering its location.

Not a great hotel at all, especially for the price. Rooms were mid — TV has Netflix and Amazon and what lot but it doesn’t work. TV has barely any channels to watch. It was hot as all hell in the hotel, in the rooms, etc. Truly just not a pleasant stay.

We rented a room for two nights and our bathroom floor was drenched when we entered. We quickly found out why, the shower head was broken, it would not stay up and sprayed everywhere. Went down to the staff to voice our concerns. Instead of changing rooms, they gave us a key to the room across the way to use the shower. Day 1, we used the shower. Day two we went back to use the shower, the room was occupied. They rented the room out and my wife walked into the room where a naked man was standing. Wife was mortified! I went down to demand either a new room or compensation back for that room. I was told nothing could be done as the manager was not on site. We had a early flight the next morning so we could not wait until the manager came in. No one from the hotel bothered to call or email us about our horrible stay.

We checked in at 9:30pm, the window in the room wouldn’t close, we tried to call reception from the room but after 10minutes of trying I had to use my mobile and call the hotel directly, after another 10minutes someone came to look at the window and said it was broken! And we needed to move, we gathered our bags and went down to reception. Rachel on reception probably needs a lesson in how to deal with customers, no apologies! And when I brought up the issue of broken window and having to move rooms at 10:15pm along with the staff not answering the phones. Reply was, the phones are working fine and if I new the window was broken I wouldn’t have put you in there! Lovely statement it’s time Rachel had a new profession, apart from that it was a nice hotel, but Rachel let the hotel down badly
