Our complete experience was terrific! All areas of the hotel were spotless. The rooms were very nice and comfortable with the TV which we didn’t watch much was very good and the wifi was stable.
The breakfast was fantastic with a great assortment enough to please everyone no matter what they preferred for breakfast. The staff kept the serving plates full and were always there to help and even get for you anything you wanted. I can’t say enough about how well the staff at breakfast and as well anywhere else in the hotel were fantastic. The people cleaning the room was great and always checked with us to make sure everything is the room was ok and if we needed anything. All was fantastic. Thank you very much for a great visit.

Nothing was terrible, food and room were average, service was very good. Overall, it's a bit below the usual Four Points standard. Main complaint is that the windows are poor so there was a lot of street noise in our room and it made it difficult to sleep. So, it wasn't awful but next I wouldn't stay there again.

Exception that’s is negative about my stay was the buffet. I usually have a good experience with the food, this time not so much. I know the head chef might be change, I went and asked about it to the dining floor manager and they told me that the head chef is no longer working with them. They asked me why? I told them that the food wasn’t meet my expectation for paying that much and to eat cold.
The manager understand my complaints. They can improve their food quality.

The hotel is ideally located right next to, or perhaps even a part of, a large shopping mall where we were able to get to a variety of venues. It included many eating areas as well as higher class department stores and a large supermarket where we were able to purchase many snacks and even inexpensive clothing.

The staff at Four Points are mostly very friendly and courteous. There were a few exceptions to that however, but nothing to complain about.

Room stewards were great and did their room service very well and with courtesy.

The staff at the front entrance were exceptionally friendly and always greeted with a smile and help if we had shopping parcels.

A couple negatives are that the air conditioning in the room was extremely cold and would not adjust. After requests to the check in desk an engineer promptly came and adjusted the system. Nevertheless the temperature setting seemed to be erratic and needed daily fiddling.
Also inside the main entrance is a small seating area but the seats need a good clean. While they do not look dirty, the cloth coverings on the seats smell strongly of sweat.

Would I stay at Four Points again? Most definitely! While there were some things that could be improved there were many positives and the stay was very enjoyable.

Breakfast was excellent with so many variety. Service is excellent. They are fast when you request service. The bathroom’s towel hangers fell off and not replaced. The drawers could be taken care off better. They are hard to open and close. Walking distance to the mall.
Overall it was a good stay.

It was fine - the breakfast was excellent, and generally the staff were very friendly. The hotel is starting to look a bit tired, and a few things did not work as well as they probably should, but this is only a minor gripe. The bar was a little disappointing- they advertised local craft beers, but this turned out to be Heineken (brewed locally) and their ability to make cocktails was restricted by a lack of some key ingredients, but again this was not a big issue (we would only have spent more money with them had they been better stocked…. so probably for the best).

We got stuck at the elevator for about 3-5 minutes.. and the elevator does not have the push button call for us to talk to the operator.

The location next to the mall is great, easy to find foods. the check in process could be more efficient. room is rather small. the maintenance of the property/facility is poor. breakfast with a lot of food variety but the quality and the presentation could be improved. i sat for breakfast this morning, most napkins were not straight, made people suspect if they were clean? no cups on my table. room service quite pricy, yet was not matched by the quality.

Staff are hospitable both at ground floor, and lobby area/dining area. I commend the staff especially on ground floors.

One of the worst experiences I ever had in my life with Four Points by Sheraton. I was so shocked when enter the room . The room is so smelly moldy and dirty . Broken lights and dusty lamp and windows and the bathroom and toilet and sink are filthy with a lot of yellow stains and black molds . A hazard!

One of The best hotel in Manado

Perfect hotel location which connect with Manado town square, Nice Room, and excellent service from all the staff - from FO, Housekeeping, Laundry and the staff @ Breakfast premise.
The Breakfast food & service also exceptional for 4* hotel. I had worse with 5* Hotel Breakfast - both food and the service.
Nice to do little jogging in the morning near the hotel.
Overall very recommended hotel in Manado.

Bad maintenance ruined an otherwise perfect stay

The shower blind is disgusting, should've been replaced at least 2 years ago, it is torn, and has got mold growing on the edges. The sink was clogged, would expect the cleaning service team address this issue to the maintenance department but apparently they never did. TV was crooked, reception was very bad. Otherwise, the view was very nice, bed was comfy.

It was our first time in Manado and staying at the Four Points as absolutely a great decision!
Not only the location is excellent (in front line of the ocean, downtown, and connected to a very nice mall with lots of food options) but the personnel were extremely nice and helpful. They really made our stay unforgettable.

In my opinion this is the first and only nice hotel in Manado. I've stayed at some of the others and the health department would close them if they were located in the USA. Friends told me there is a nice resort to the north you can stay at if this hotel is full.

It’s nice hotel facing sea but I wasn’t fully impressed compared to other hotels of Marriott group that I have stayed. Check in was smooth however there was no towel in the room. I would not expect this level of poor housekeeping in such a reputed hotel group. Furniture in the room looked outdated and even some drawers were opening itself. Very dangerous particularly bed side drawers. One may end up hitting their leg when waking up in night. Breakfast was fine. Variety of options (mostly local delicacies though) and sea facing so lovely view.

The location has a bad traffic jam. We were not feeling secured due to all people can use the lifts without any security card. But the food and the service was very good. The facilities for all guests were good too. Unfortunately I stayed at rooms with city views and it was so noisy from the below street with their discotheque music.

The bathroom smell bad at night.

I found the hotel conveniently located above the premier shopping complex in Manado with good eating and shopping choices. Taxi and Grab transportation was readily available. I ate breakfast at the large hotel buffet and lunch and evening meals at the hotel's other restaurants. All had good selections with appropriate pricing. My group utilized a small function room for a couple of days which worked out well for us.There is a medium sized fitness room with good working equipment and the hotel staff were very professional and friendly making my stay pleasant. I would stay again.

Friendly staff. Great variety of food for breakfast.
Breakfast crew understaffed, ant problem in the room that was promptly addressed but ants returned the next day & remained.
Air con in room was too cold & couldn't be adjusted. Mini bar cool, not cold. Balloons not permitted :)

i was asking for a room twin share with bathtub! rhey dont have it. so i upgrade my room to the second highest class thatvthey had.
the receptions are very helpful and having a great capabilty to perform their duty.
but then , what happened all premiere suite room bath tub water can not be used. due to the dirt that remained in the tank.
the duty manager Rowdy, took a quicj action and upgrade my room to the presidential suite. so i can realy enjoy my stay and having myself drawned into rhe bathtub!
well even if i had such a husstle , but the management knew how to take care of their guest!
the restaurant is such a beautiful place! the smoking area is directly having a perfect seaview!
food is absolutely great!
I strongly recomend thus hotel to everyone visiting manado!

Noisy place with lousy breakfast

When I first arrived, I felt like a market place as they did not separate the event at the lobby. Local guest were screaming across the lobby and I could barely hear the reception staffs. This should not be the way a 4/5* hotel should be presented. Rooms were upgraded but nothing amazing (not much difference). Breakfast was quite horribly done and unhygienic. I saw flies over the food (staffs didn't bother to at least cover some of it. Guest actually used their own fork to poke food from the buffet table and stood there eating from the buffet pot. Staff saw it but didn't bother to correct them or replace the food. It's a total turn off . they forgot my eggs order as well. When I checked out and asked for airport transfer, staffs only asked me to reach out to the concierge downstairs. Unfortunately the concierge couldn't quite understand English and made us wait for > 30 mins (without informing us of the possible wait) that we had to call for GRAB by ourselves. Totally unacceptable for Sheraton standard.

This is a very good hotel with inside access, through the parking garage, to a large, modern shopping mall. Traffic makes getting around Manado difficult and being next to good dining and shopping is a plus. The staff was very attentive and most spoke English. The view of Manado Tua is beautiful. Pricing is reasonable by western and Australian standards. I enjoyed my stay here and even extended a night

An excellent choice in Manado

This hotel is modern and well-situated, convenient to some of the interesting sights of Manado. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with very good bathrooms, beds, and air conditioning. Breakfasts are varied, with both local and Western cuisine. Price is very reasonable.
