We booked at the last minute because another property fell through. While very simple, Brit Hotel was a wonderful surprise. Quiet, friendly and helpful staff, and one of the best breakfasts we had while in France. We loved the emphasis on local products. A great stay.

The receptionist gave us 5 minutes to get our luggage saying it would be sorted in 5 minutes, which it was, but this meant that the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned nor the room vacuumed.

This is potentially a perfect place to stop over. Close to the motorway and close to the beautiful town of St.Flour.
But we were sold a breakfast on arrival and no one turned up to prepare it until 8:10 by which time many guests were leaving annoyed that they had not had breakfast and were now late to start their journey. I saw a very young person arrive at 8:10. She was unable to give me a card refund and said she would post me a cheque. I don't expect to see the cheque. The coffee machine in the lobby was also broken. If these things had operated normally I would have been impressed with this little place who are dog friendly and good value for price.

I booked this hotel knowing that the check in was until 8pm however I used the Expedia “Contact” button to request a late check in. The options were given in 2 hour slots - I selected 8- 10pm. I also messaged asking the property if the rooms had AC or fans. Neither request was acknowledged. As I had paid and been charged and the booking confirmed by Expedia, my family and I tuned up at the hotel after a 12hour drive from Spain to find it all locked up and no entry possible.

Bearing in mind we arrived on a bank holiday and in the middle of a pandemic we were grateful to find somewhere open. We managed the self checkin outside and were very relieved when the door opened. After seeing some attractive double rooms on the website I think we were given the worse one in an empty hotel. The breakfast room was still closed when we left around 9.30 am. The room was certainly in need of an update and the toilet needed a good amount of bleach. The carpet in the room and on the stairs needed a vacuum. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was spotlessly clean. The shower although ancient worked well. The hotel is in a very good position being both near the motorway and Saint Flour. Once all the rooms are upgraded it will be a very pleasant hotel.

The hotel is fit for purpose for a one night stopover. It is in walking distance of the town which is handy. However, the rooms are dated and need of some tlc and an upgrade. The room has no air con which made it very hot and uncomfortable at night - particularly the children's room which is upstairs (great idea for a family room but very hot and no fans provided). The room is however clean but felt quite steep @ over 70 Euro for family 4 given the decor & condition but this was average for area.

It also had a medieval village close by but never got a chance to visit. Room was clean, never needed any services location was good

The delatour St Flour is exactly half way from Calais to Valencia (10 hours each way). Clean and friendly, a little basic in the room, but the dog was welcome to sleep in the room with us. Beautiful village with numerous restauants easy walking distance (hill).

J’ai réservé une chambre à un lit 2 personnes, j’ai eu un chambre 1 lot 140 + 2 lits 1 personne , sauf qu’un lit avait etait utilisé et pas changé en vrac , le lalabo de la salle de bain et la douche présentaient des cheveux bruns. La chambre n’avait pas etait faite, très déçu et le soir pas de réception donc j’ai fait avec dommage cela fait plusieurs fois que je viens, et je n’ai jamais eu de problème

Arrivée le 13/05/25 à Saint flour il fesait froid dans la chambre juste des draps, j'ai été demandé à l'accueil qui me répond que c'est a l'ingerie va dans une chambre pour récupérer une couette chambre occupée j'ai trouvé pas hygiénique, douche espace petit faut pas être une personne enrobé car compliqué rideau pas moderne aurait besoin de rénovation dans l'hôtel.

Cela fait déjà plusieurs fois que je dors dans cet hôtel , un très bon rapport qualité prix, les chambres sont propres et le lit confortable le petit déjeuner classique mais suffisant. Je n'oublie pas l'accueil la jeune fille à la réception a toujours le sourire c'est une très bonne chose .

Très déçue de cet hébergement. Nous sommes venues une 1ere fois l été dernier et tout était correct, cette fois-ci autre discours : mauvais accueil l hôtesse vous dit à peine bonjour et le comble fut le petit déjeuner ! Nous arrivons à 7h45 et il n y avait rien à manger ! J ai demandé à la personne de l hotel qui était dans la cuisine qui m a répondu que les croissants etaient dans le four. Elle a ramené 4 croissants alors que nous étions plusieurs couples dans la salle et a chaque fois elle ramenait 4 croissants par 4 croissants ! Nous avions terminé elle a fini enfin (mais trop tard) par apporter des pains au chocolat.... personne peu voir pas accueillante. Et le comble, personne ne vérifie si ceux qui déjeunent ont payé leur petit déjeuner ! Ailleurs on demande le numéro de chambre et il y a vérification, !

A fuir ! Ma pire expérience en hôtel !
J'arrive après 20h, il n'y a personne, je récupère la clé à l'entrée, la chambre sent mauvais, il n'y a aucune insonorisation (on entend absolument tout ce qui se passe dans l'hôtel), pas de volets (la lumière extérieure entre dans la chambre), la literie est horrible, et surtout, il y a un drap mais aucune couette (nous ne sommes pas en été et il fait encore frais !). J'appelle le numéro d'urgence, et là une dame absolument désagréable me répond qu'elle ne peut rien faire pour moi, que les couvertures sont à la lingerie et que c'est comme ça et pas autrement. En dix ans d'hôtels pour déplacement professionnel, c'est la première fois que je vois une telle aberration !!!

Ensemble satisfaisant (dommage que l'on ne puisse pas mettre 4,5/5). Accueil chaleureux et de bon conseil, chambre simple, tres propre, tres bonne literie. Copieux petit dejeuner avec un vrai bémol : le pain était très dur (probablement de la veille).

Notre chambre était imprégnée d’une odeur de cigarette insupportable (les draps y compris, c’est à se demander s’ils étaient propres).
Nous avons fait remonter cela à l’accueil qui n’a pris la peine de s’excuser (sachant que nous avons séjourné avec notre bébé de 3 mois).
Literie très bas de gamme.

Bonjour, un petit bémol dans la chambre : la télécommande de la télévision ne fonctionnait pas et la TV étant en hauteur donc difficile d'accéder aux boutons de commande sur le côté de la TV. Dans la salle d'eau petit bémol également : le distributeur de papier WC est un peu loin des WC ! Sinon chambre correcte et calme observé. Cordialement.

Hôtel très simple pour ses 2*. Distributeur de friandises qui fait un boucan la nuit, des bruits sourds de pas de l'étage supérieur, des gens qui arrivent tard et qui parlent fort. Difficile de s'endormir dans ces conditions. Pas de lampe de chevet, table basse ridicule. Pas génial en gros.

Ils ont voulu me faire payer 5€ supplémentaire pour le chien, bien que lors du paiement a travers la web cela ne soit mentionné nulle part. Ça c'est finalement arrangé et ils ne m'ont pas fait paye. La chambre était bien mais bruyante à cause de la route qui passe juste en dessous.
