Room, hotel and all surroundings very well kept. Beautiful green all round..staff very helpful, buggy driver warm smile.. Reception staff are truly helpful, pleasant and patient. 2 English speaking reception staff, especially the male, attended to our endless enquiry with patience. Love the surroundings flowers. Do make use of facilities eg swan boat tour, picket ball. Wide Buffet breakfast range . Nice & relaxing stay.. highly recommend.

The staff were very helpful, but the room was inefficient, the curtain broken, the biggest room has tiny bathroom, hot water was not enough for more than 5 minutes shower, with that enormous room has tiny fireplace, it was very cold, the room keys were not work properly. I was disappointed.

This is a really great hotel and I enjoy the location and interior very much. We had a spacious room with very high sealings. The grounds and area are wonderful.

The service is very good overall, but our dinner was not very enjoyable. It took far too long for the food to arrive and the quality wasn't the best. The pizza was terrible. I hope that they will improve their dinner service as it was not up to par with the rest of the experience. I would like to thank Ms. Thanh Nguyen for her kindness to me and my family. She left a very touching handmade card.

Ok so here's the deal. The staff is excellent, very helpful and supportive. The common areas are beautiful. The shuttle is great.

Here are the BUTS: 1). Beds are AWFUL. I literally have bruises on my hips because how the slats can be felt through the mattress. 2). Food is sub par and INSANELY overpriced, especially for what it is. Breakfasts are ok, but the fruit selection is basic - not regional offerings or tasty. 3). Our room had water stains in the ceiling and a mantle that was missing the fireplace.

For the price, not worth it. Unless you want to get away in the nature and that's beautiful.

Beautiful property on the lake. Too bad their pool was cold and not heated as it said on the website. We thought we could use the indoor pool so we booked it fir cold days. The reception service was okay not 5 star excellent. The fpod was way too overpriced for their lack of quality. We paid for an expesive Pho soup but got instant soup with old tough meat that was like from frozen. I love their fireplace and tub. Everything about dining was not up to standard. Breakfast buffet okay. Food was cold.

In general this hotel is good to excellent. Surrounding gardens And lakes are beautiful but the room isn't soundproof good. I couldn't sleep well during 2 nights I stayed there. You can hear the next door neighbor talking, laughing, pull chairs. It's pretty annoying and getting headaches. I did asked the hotel staff to do something about it but almost nothing happened. Very disappointed 😞

Great resort and setting. Please think about replacing hard mattresses for an even more comfortable stay. The path around the lake was inaccessible in places which should be addressed and please offer sandwiches at afternoon tea for a more authentic experience. Nice stay at Edensee

Edensee is about 20-25 minutes outside of town on a lake. It is very quiet and peaceful with pine trees. There is a shuttle bus to town, but the times that it runs are not very convenient. There should be a shuttle just before or at lunch time into town. Otherwise there is one before breakfast ends and one after lunch.

Breakfast was mainly Vietnamese with some Western options. Besides the breakfast buffet, the restaurant staff does not seem to know the menu well or able to answer questions about the menu and need more training in this regard.

The staff overall are very friendly and try to be helpful. The level of English was quite good. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with nice bedding. The bathrooms are large with a jacuzzi tub. There were some ants on the bathroom floor throughout the stay though.

The hotel offers many activities onsite like kayaking and archery. There is a nice trail around the hotel and benches to sit by the lake. It is very peaceful and beautiful.

I had a great time visiting to escape the Saigon noise. I listened to the birds (especially peacocks), saw night stars, and smelled the pine trees. Enjoyed coffee and breakfast at 6 on balcony of amply furnished restaurant overlooking the water, watching squirrels jumping tree to tree and deer graze below. That was enough.

Overall it is a pleasant stay. Location is clean and very relaxing.
However, we stayed at the ground floor and could hear a lot of noise coming from the upper room.
While receptionists were very polite in direct communication, telephone answering could be better.

Beautiful resort, a few issues

Well, the property is pretty fantastic, the rooms are very spacious and luxurious the bathrooms large and elegant. The environment is very peaceful and quiet (except for other guests) with a beautiful landscaped property. Please realize that despite a few activities (tennis courts, archery, kayaking) there isn't too much to do so it is more for rest and you are pretty far away from the hectic town center (there is a free shuttle with decent schedule to there). Didn't see a pool (but we weren't looking and the temperature is, even in summer, pretty cool. That's a good thing!).
The only problems were first, as I mentioned, other guests with noisy children disturbed the peace on our first day. They need to put in thicker glass in the windows. This is especially bad if you are on the first floor, also our first floor room didn't have much of a view (and we had to keep our blinds closed). Also, service was a little raw; the receptionist didn't understand when we asked for the electric cart to take us to the room (my Vietnamese gf asked in Vietnamese). Meeting the shuttle downtown was tricky because we hadn't taken it in and their directions to the stop were inaccurate despite several calls. However, after the first day, once we knew our way around things were fine.
All in all it made us feel like \"a little New Zealand in Vietnam\" :)

Suite Room dusty during check in. Coffee cup not wash up. The room service is weak. And the breakfast service is also slow. Front desk is doing a fine job. Overall distance is far from city but hotel provide 3 times free bus shuttles per day. Recommended for 1-2 nights stay for peaceful and fresh air. Not a 5 stars quality hotel.

Beautiful resort, excellent chef, friendly staff

The resort is beautiful sitting next to the lake. There is a nice hiking trail at the lake side. However, the room is a little bit old. The staff is very friendly and the morning buffet is excellent. I've eaten around in Dalat, stayed at a couple other resorts in Tuyen Lam, and I still think the chef at Edensee excelled. Although there is a free shuttle taking guests to town, it's still a little inconvenient to be far away from town.

We booked this resort as part of our Honeymoon and stayed in a Lake View Junior Suite.
We prefer to stay outside of towns/cities so this suited us perfectly. The resort is 30 minutes from the airport and approx 20-25 minutes to Dalat centre. The resort offers a free shuttle bus 3 times per day which is quite convenient.
There are many activities at the resort which for any days you decide not to explore the local area will keep you entertained. Some you have to pay extra for.
The cinema was great and they even played a film for us one night when there was no schedule for it.
All the staff are really friendly and helpful and that really helped make our stay so enjoyable. They helped with day tours to see what we were interested in and we're happy to call local taxi companies for a price to compare to their own transport package. They also offered to organise scooters if we did not want to hire from Dalat Centre, but we didn't due to bad weather on our last day.
We stayed over the Christmas period and the resort made a big effort to make the hotel feel like Christmas with lots of decorations and even a fake snow machine. Thefood is good. Plenty choice at breakfast with the homemade bread being a favourite of ours. We enjoyed a couple of meals in the restaurant at lunch/dinner. We really enjoyed the Braised Fish in Hot Pot. Only one point to note was staff can be too quick to remove plates/cutlery before finished. This happened to me twice.

It’s a beautiful resort on the lake in the forest.
Far from the city, suitable for people who want to mostly stay in the nature.
Food verity for westerners is not the best, but the Vietnamese food is good enough. Not a problem if food isn’t a big issue.
It’s definitely 5 star and build very well, they even have a fireplace which is not tippical for most places in Dalat.
Very good value for money - in my opinion.

Not a 5-star place any more. This is an old, broken down hotel. It has nice grounds but is just not well maintained.

In our room the tv went out and wasn’t repaired. The “spa tub” in our room didn’t work and the maintenance guys took half an hour and then didn’t fix it.

The Spa on site was under repair. That wasn’t advertised when I booked. The pool is over chlorinated. The “fitness center” is old with none of the treadmills plugged in. The x-country machine felt too dangerous to use.

The breakfast is a three-star typically Vietnamese style. The breakfast room had cobwebs and dead flies on the floor. Just not loved!

No offer of any of the services like archery or tennis or kayaks or anything from staff.

Just poor service from an old hotel.

Spend $20 more and go to Ana Mandara or save money and go to Terracota. Much better hotels.

Nice and quiet couple getaway

Amazing location if you want peace and quiet. The resort is furthest from the main roads which makes it a little harder to access than other resorts in the same vicinity. However, the trade-offs is a peaceful and romantic destination for couples. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The beds can be improved and we did have a problem with our hot water which was resolved by maintenance on site. We recommend that you enjoy dinner in town before heading back to the resort because the restaurant is quite small.

First of all the hotel is located in one of the most beautiful natural surroundings you could imagine. We had a couple of problems with the plumbing in our room, which was quickly remedied by the maintenance personnel. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. There's a free shuttle that makes runs throughout the day to central Dalat, which is nice for grabbing a meal in town or shopping, etc.

far from downtown but larger noise form group tour

I selected this hotel for calmness. It is located more than 10km from the downtown of Dalat. The guest rooms are scattered from a main building. Everything looks calm and quiet place for relaxation. But the hotel management allowed group tour guests activities in the front of main building. They used a microphone in the 8:45 in the morning. Their morning activity continued till 9:15 am. They even sang a happy birthday song together. They got another activity in same place in the afternoon.
I paid more money and time for relaxation from noise.
Why I have to listen these kind of noise in isolated place like this hotel?
I complained against hotel's unorganized management but the general manager had no intend to solve the problem, even she didn't think it was bothering other guests.
The worst thing was small insect. Small insects moved in the closet and walls.
This hotel only looks good and designed for local guests. If the guests drove own car, it is ok but the travelers have to pay more dollars form or to the hotel. It is located far away from downtown but they served free shuttle bus service only 3 times a day. I paid around 10 dollars for one way ride. If i put 20 dollars for hotel expense, I can choose any nice hotels in the city area.
Please be reasonable for accommodation selection.
This hotel had a hidden trap. We have to add more than 20 dollars for the taxi
Please take a city hotel instead of isolated area hotel.

One of a kind

I have been traveling internationally for business for 30 years. I have been to all kinds of hotels in more countries than I can remember. But this hotel stands out from the rest, head and shoulders above. When you add in the value factor, this hotel just cannot be beaten. I just can't believe I stayed in this hotel for less than $100.00 a day when I paid more than $700.00 at Palo Alto, California the week before for a room.

The hotel is in a remote location, about 7 miles from town. It is by the lakeside in middle of a pine forest. The weather is cool. The air is moist and sweet. There are several clusters of rooms (4 rooms to each cluster) spread out across a huge compound. A walk in the early morning around the campus is precious. You'd forget about the stress. You'd appreciate nature and your life more. I imagine for a just-married couple, this is a perfect place for a honeymoon.

I had a car and a driver so going to town is not a problem. Otherwise I guess you have to use the hotel shuttle which runs on a very good schedule. But why leave the hotel? If you are looking for privacy and time away from the world (and I think you are if you are reading this) then this hotel is THE hotel you are looking for.

Go ahead, book this one, and bring your sweetheart with you.

Delightful lake and mountain view.

It seems to be one of the greatest secrets kept from the western. It was hard to find faults with the location, serenity, facilities, food, service or anything else.
I must admit I was always waiting for the hidden costs but no! The a la carte meals at the restaurant at night were way more than reasonably priced. None of the extras were over priced at all. Free shuttle buses to Da lat central
Extremely quite, picturesque and has a very \"amongst nature\" feel about the place. Plenty of easy walks and activities if you want. The indoor swimming pool was great and a reasonably well set out gym.
The weather was magnificent usually like a warm spring day. The type of weather where you feel you must be outside.
I highly recommend the walk ( one or two K's) or taxi up to the \"elephant walk\" a beautiful spot on the lake with wonderful picnic or BBQ facilities on the hill and pontoons on the lake. If you fancy a ride on the elephant don't expect to see too much of Vietnam because it is a very laid back elephant. It is not prodded with a goad so it gets there in it's own time. (It fits into the area well!)
If you want to get away from it all and relax I highly recommend it.
Overall it is really exceptional value.

Edensee - A lace to Visit

Went for holidays with family & celebrated my sons 14th Birthday. Lived 2.5 days with fullest at resort. A must recommended place for others because a cool & calm place; even far away from Da Lat city noise, leave behind Noise of Saigon. Infact wanted to stay for 1-2 days more but our next hotel booking at Phan Tient compelled us to check out. Also a special thanks to all staffs of Edensee and special thanks to Mr Do Quang Dang, who took all pain to take care of our all requirements. Once again many thanks and see you Edensee soon

Very nice, out of the way resort.

Nice hotel. Excellent staff. It's about 7 or 8 km from Dalat so not within walking distance but they do offer a shuttle service several times a day. Beautiful setting on the lake. Many on site activities from boating and fishing to archery, etc. Too many to name. For people used to air conditioning, this resort doesn't have it. I went in the hot season which wasn't bad but still a little warmer than I wanted in the daytime. Very comfortable at night. Also had a leak in the jacuzzi tub which was fixed in a hurry. Overall, a nice, quiet place to get away from it all and relax. I would have no problem staying here again.

It was a wonderful vacation for our family. Hotel room was spacious and clean with all amenities. Very nice view from restroom as we chose the lakeview suite room. Hotel location at lake side was perfect for getaway vacation. There was free shuttle bus to Dalat city but we din't use it. Staff were friendly and tried to meet customer's needs. Although the indoor warm water swimming pool was mainly for kids and adults could not use it much, we used tennis court as other option. Free 3-day yoga training session was provided to guests, but we learned too late to attend it all. However the last 1 day training session was really good and we regret to miss the other 2 sessions. Although there was limited lunch/dinner menu during holiday seasons, I thought it was a minor issue. We will definitely return to this resort if we visit Dalat again.

Loved it! Highly recommend,

Stayed at this resort for 3 nights. The hotel is very beautiful, like a palace in the forest/mountains. We were there during rainy season, so the weather was a bit wild (some rain, wind mainly early in the day). The hotel staff are extremely nice and attentive, and really added to the experience. The room was really comfortable and the bathroom was huge and very clean.

A European Feel.

The area and the hotel were quite lovely. It was abit far from thngs, so you were a captured audience, unless you wanted to catch a cab into Dalat. There were a few language barriers in regards to ordering room service for dinner. If you are happy to just lounge around the hotel grounds or in your room, this is the place for you.

Luxurious hotel with excellent staff

The hotel is in a beautiful location by the lake, it is about 5 miles from town, but the hotel have a car service to and from the town. The hotel was very empty when we were there, which is a shame because the staff were excellent and the hotel is extremely luxurious. We had almost the entire hotel to ourselves at one point and we were treated like royalty. I have no idea where the rest of the guests were, but I enjoyed the pampering.

We have been confusing the location which is closed to the lake but it is not the lake in the city centre, it takes 20 min. taxi from city to Edensee Resort finally, it costs us around USD10.00, luckily we can take hotel shuttle bus to-via between hotel and city centre for daily sightseeing. Overall it is an excellent hotel and we have enjoyed the time for relaxing, facing the lake and countryside view plus friendly hotel staff, we decide to go there next year again! If you are not afraid the 20 min. + 20 min. transportation time, it is a good hotel for staying, 5 stars service....worth to try\!!! :)

A hidden gem

We were pleasantly surprised to chance upon this hotel on the web.
We were attracted by its pristine & picturesque location away from the bustle of the town and surrounded by the tranquil Tuyem Lake with rhododendrons and camelias and pine trees.

到着したのが夜だったので、本当にこんなところにホテルがあるのか心配なくらい静かで辺鄙なところにありますが、落ち着いて過ごすには快適な宿でした。建物は古くて歴史がありそうですが、清掃や庭の手入れが行き届いています。
市街地までは少し距離があり、車で30分ほどかかりますが、湖畔に面していてカヤックやボートもあるので、涼しい高原で静かにのんびり過ごしたい方には、最適だと思われます。アクティブに街歩きやツアーに参加したい方にはちょっと不便かも

We had a great stay at the resort. It is a beautiful place on a hill next to a lake. I enjoyed the scenery. You can walk in the resort near the lake and enjoy the view. They also have facilities for fishing, canoeing and having a boat trip on the lake. We did the boat trip that was for 20 minutes on the lake. The scenery was pleasant and you can enjoy the view.
The hotel staff is very helpful and pleasant. Even during breakfast they made for use a fresh vegetable meal with noodles, because we are vegetarian. The room was clean, and had all the facilities we needed.

달랏에덴시레이크리조트 숙박 후기

호수옆에 조용한 리조트. 힐링하기 너무좋다. 호수옆으로 산책로는 정말 최고다. 공기가 신선하고 상쾌하여 머리가 시원해지고 맑아지는 느낌이었다. 꽤 많은 객실을 보유하고 있어서 조망권에 따라 방수량에 따라 금액이 틀려지는거같다. 방컨디션도 깨끗하고 좋았으나 화장실 환기팬소음이 너무 컫는데 끌수도 없어서 조금 불편했다. 아무래도 호수와 산속이라 벌레도 좀있다. 이런건 감안해야한다. 직원들의 서비스 수준도 매우 높다. 친절하고 요청한것에 즉시 대응해준다. 메인건물뒤로 동물농장이 있는데 꿩과 공재, 사슴, 닭들이 자유롭게 노는것을 볼수있어 좋다. 그러나 들어갈수는 없다. 아침 조식메뉴도 그정도면 훌륭하다. 이렇게 외진곳에서 한식을 바랄순없다. 메뉴중 김치가 있다는것이 신기했다. 서비스쿠폰으로 애프터눈티를 먹었는데 즐기기에 충분했다. 다시 올것이다.

Lake Resort

Hotel is located at hill top facing the lake. Room is big and cozy. Hotel is surrounded by lots of pine trees which you definitely will enjoy a refreshing walk in the morning.

침구류가 축축하고 침대 쿠션이 별로

자연호수가 있어서 좋았고, 따로 독립돈 룸이 편안함을 주었다.
침대가 싱글이 아니어서 아쉽고, 침구류가 축축하고 침대 쿠션이 별로임.
