Our bathroom floor was very dirty. The sink faucet leaked bad and the sink and tub did not drain and you had to stand in water while taking a shower.
Getting coffee in the morning was entertaining. Staff was mad and using profanity.

Please provide a refresher training to front desk associates regarding customer service.
Upon arrival (prior to check in time as we were traveling), associate was handling a reservation by phone. We were never acknowledged. While we were waiting, a guest walked up in front of us for service. There apparently was a second associate available to assist but she was too busy making plans for the night and never checked to see if the associate on the phone needed help. Once the associate ended the call, she greeted the later arriving guest (apologized to them for the wait),
serviced their needs. We arrived to the desk asking for an earlier check in and was advised abruptly and unphased that there wasn’t a room available and there was no way to confirm if an earlier check in was possible and we’d have to come back at the normal check in time. Earlier check in was provided because we called back to confirm. We are still waiting on our apology for the wait.

During my stay, there were several issues that impacted my experience. The staff appeared to be new, and the rooms were not as clean as expected. I found multiple strands of hair on the towels and in the bathtub. Additionally, when it rained, water leaked into my room.
After reporting the issues, I was moved to a suite, which was very clean and much nicer. I appreciated the effort to resolve the situation. Overall, my stay was okay, but it did not meet the standard of my previous visits.

Room had poop in toilet when I arrived. Also had lots of hair in shower.
The next morning I saw blood in lower part of sheets. I checked it was not mine due to I was not bleeding.
Also sausage link I bit into exploded. When I mean exploded it went all over my face shirt and arm. Luckily it was not hot.

We always bring a black light with us to check the bed for fluids and bed bugs. We needed a new fitted sheet, but there were none available. So, we slept on the mattress pad instead. The shower and rest of the bathroom were gross. Breakfast was good

Booked double queen room, on arrival room not available. Was given a king suite, preferred bed for my kids to sleep in instead of a fold out couch. There was no extra bedding for the fold out couch. Also several tiles on bathroom floor were loose and would move when walked on. Bathroom wall by toilet paper holder looked like it had fecal matter splattered on the wall.

The first room we checked into still had someone in it. The second room we checked into none of the power along the head of the beds worked. The other side of the room the plugs were falling out of the wall. The third room that we finally moved to worked fine. With all of the issues the manager was very helpful.

A/C was not reliable and noisy in temp control.
Kept it between 73 and it was freezing or on 75 where it was stuffy and hot… it was weird.
Staff was crazy busy with large groups but soooo nice and everything was really clean.
The food issue is the gray steamed sausage patties and mostly gray sausage links… needs much more browning…

All of the staff were amazing. It’s hard to find staff with great personalities. They were courteous, hard lots of knowledge of their job and always asked was there something that they could do to assist you. Ms. Mary kept everything running smoothly during breakfast time. Ms. Sally was very pleasant during my checkout. I told Ms. Sally that I have stayed in high end places and I have never been treated so well. The overall quality was amazing. Everything was clean and organized. I’m a business owner and we have to let our employees know that they are loved and how well they do their job. No one had attitudes. All the staff greats everyone with a friendly smile and warm welcome. I will always stay at this property when I’m in Natchitoches, LA. Words really can’t express how I was so amazed at everything. I will refer all my family and friends to stay at this property. Ladies, continue to keep up the amazing job that you are doing. Owners, please give them their flowers for doing an amazing job. Again thanks for being so kind to us.

Gross bathroom.

When we got to the room, there was a terrible moldy smell and a strong chemial smell that was worse in the bathroom. I called to see if we could switch rooms. Was told that wasnt possible but that housekeeping would come clean the bathroom again while we were out. That didn't happen. The smell got better if we closed the bathroom door so we decided to stay. I told the front desk again the next morning. The lady didn't really seem to care. I was so grossed out my the bathroom that I was in a rush to leave, so i didnt press the issue. I will not be back.

It is close to the interstate with access to gas stations and food close by. Parking lot at night was a little \"interesting\" but no trouble in the room and it was well cleaned and the staff was friendly and helpful.

This wasn’t a holiday type stay at all. The floors seem super thin. You can hear people walking above and creaking. And you feel the same as you walk. The bathroom while wiped down, still had hair in areas that certainly weren’t mine. The shower curtain isn’t properly installed for length so you’re likely to get water on the floor. Towels were stained, as well as the floor near the couch. I was beyond glad it was only one night. I’d be willing to stay an hour away if it offers a better accommodation.

This place was super expensive for what it offers. I guess it is because of the Christmas lights. We made a one night stop over to see the NSU campus before we moved on to New Orleans. This is a decent hotel, but nothing special to make it $300. Clean, Nice staff and good breakfast.

Checkin was awful. They could not check me in easily even though I had already paid through hotels. Then, they double charged my incidentals and didn't refund one of them right away. The flooring in the room was filthy. Maybe stained, but shoe marks everywhere. Even though the staff was apologetic, I will not be staying there again.

The entire facility was very clean. Staff was friendly and provided my husband with a toothbrush (forgot his!). My only minor issue is the building did not feel well constructed. Huge gaps around the hotel room door and the hallway floor felt like it was going to give way.

I was disappointed in the elevator breaking down during our stay. Also, I called and asked for the 9 rooms to be put together for the kids we took to NSU for a theatre showcase and was disappointed to get 4 rooms on the second floor and 5 on the 3rd floor. The water pressure was bad in the evening and some kids didn't have hot water for their showers.

The driveway into the property is a little unusual but no big deal. However the elevator was broken and we were traveling with an baby (stroller, travel bassinet, diaper bag, etc.) so they put us into a lesser room on the first floor. It worked fine. However, they then tried to charge me in addition to what I had already paid Expedia which I did not consent to. I spent 30 minutes at the front desk trying to get it sorted out with them. Eventually, the refunded CC, but it was a big waste of time. This place was clean and had a decent breakfast. But I’d try somewhere else next time in Natchitoches. I’d recommend going into town to check it out rather the hotels by the interstate.
