Lovely characterful hotel. Convenient for train and short walk into the beautiful town. Weird lift but it worked fine! Great breakfast. Only downside was some noise from port during day, but not an issue for me as I was out and about. Would definitely stay again in this characterful and atmospheric hotel, but just one night next time.

No tv or wash basin in my room ,but personal wc and shower just down the corrider. Excellent central location ,adjacent to Ystad railway station ,bus station ,and ferry terminal .The staff were lovely and helpful ,with an excellent spread at breakfast. The B&B is a must for all Wallander fans as it was the police station in the second series starring Krister Henriksson , both outside and inside.I stayed in Room 11 ,the office next to Wallander's (Room 13) ! All-in-all good value for money.

This is a quirky B&B, being right on the quayside of the port. Noise from the ferries is confined to during the day, and it’s a great location for the station, the ferries, buses and walking into town. The rooms are simple, but clean and adequate. Free kitchen facilities and tea / coffee are provided, along with fridges, and vending machines. Lovely building, and helpful, friendly staff.

The shared bathrooms were always clean, but I didn’t feel comfortable using the second one along in the first floor as the window faces a unit of flats that can clearly see straight into the bathroom.

This is a serviceable hotel. Rooms and décor very clean. Downsides: right by the port so you might be disturbed by ferries (in reality we weren't really disturbed by the noise) and also you had to make your own bed! This is not what you want after a long day travelling

Behövde övernattning efter dagkirurgi på lasarettet i Ystad. Detta B&B låg inom rimligt avstånd. Jag hade kontakt med ägarna via telefon och sms innan vistelsen och blev mycket väl bemött, likaså under vistelsen. De var mycket service- minded. Rummet var fint och frukosten riklig och god. Vraiment très bon établissement ! Pas d'accueil au delà de 17h mais tout est prévu et fonctionne nickel (code entree et code locker pour récupérer la clé). Un établissement de charme. Avec douche et toilettes séparés mais reservés pour la chambre. Environnement vraiment calme hormis les ferry mais pas genant. Et petit dej vraiment bien. Tres bon rapport qualité prix. Une supérette est juste a côté et la ville est vraiment jolie.

Vi startede cykeltur på Stationen og alt var som det skulle være - rent, pænt, hyggeligt og absolut ingen støjgener ( til trods for beliggenheden) - derimod smuk havudsigt. Eneste minus var at vi ikke kunne parkere vores cykler nogensteder. Men vi fandt en løsning.

Mycket rent och trevligt hotell, vänlig och hjälpsam personal i receptionen, bra att det fanns hiss,för min del var frukost utbudet absolut lagom, hotellet ligger mycket nära både till färje och tåg station. Trots att huset är gammalt så är det renoverat på ett mycket fint sätt, jag återkommer absolut.
