Amazing Hotel and an Amazing Area (Unamazing Room)
Everything is wonderful about this hotel, except the room. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even loaned us an ac adapter to charge our phones until we bought one. The hotel fits the area perfectly and is very close to everything. It was beautiful. Be sure to stop by the tavern next door and the ferry to Bornholm was extremely fun too. However, the room is tiny and quite stuffy with a bad odor from the bathroom that we could never find nor eliminate. The shower was the smallest that I've ever used, but that was somewhat charming. The bed was uncomfortable too. Having said that, I recommend staying here as part of the Ystad experience (which is incredible).

What a dream property and location. This hotel is rich with charm and history ... and it's in a great location, surrounded by historic buildings and close to the town center, with lots of shopping and dining options. Bed was comfortable and room nicely decorated. I hope to return some day.

This property has so many potential but it is just basic. Making sure the towels of previous guests have all been collected can not be that hard (we found hanged in the bathroom the big towel of the previous guests). Washing every few weeks the decorarive pillows is also not thay hard to organise. Hair in the bathtub were not not a pleasant surprise.

Very slow and impersonal check-in. We were asked three times by two different people whether or not we had paid in advance. Charming old house but the price should perhaps have been based on the actual standard. In other words, OK but too expensive for what we got.

Our stay at the Anno 1793 Sekel Garden hotel was very enjoyable! The staff was friendly and helpful (and fluent in English). The setting is historic and quaint. And the breakfast was delicious with many foods to choose from. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Ystad area in southern Sweden.

MYSIGT LITET HOTELL I HJÄRTAT AV YSTAD
Mysigt och pittoreskt litet hotell. I centrala Ystad. Det märks att ägarna har lagt ner tid, för att skapa en härlig atmosfär. Finns frukostmatsal, i receptionen kan man köpa öl bland annat. Rummet vi bokade var mysigt, med läge mot innergården. I rummet finns ett mindre badrum. Innergården blir nog riktigt härlig på sommaren. Det finns flera bra restauranger nära hotellet, bara \"några minuters promenad\". Enligt mitt tycke är det prisvärt och vi kommer gärna igen...

Receptionen var obemannad och belamrad med diverse handskrivna skyltar om det ena och det andra. Vid incheckning skulle man ringa ett nummer, och så plötsligt dök det upp en äldre herre som tydligen drev stället.

Det eneste dårlige at sige om stedet er morgenmaden. Den var virkelig elendig og mangelfuld. Udvalget var dårligt - kun tre varme ting, som så var kolde, da man ikke havde tændt for varmen. Discountpølser, færdiglavede vafler og noget tredje, jeg ikke helt kunne finde ud af, hvad var. Men det hele var som sagt koldt.

Habe mich leider von den positiven Bewertungen verleiten lassen aber ich kann dieses Hotel keinem empfehlen. Sehr alt, und ungepflegt.
Rezeption ist nur ab 15 Uhr temporär besetzt.
Ich habe nicht die Kategorie an Zimmer bekommen, welche ich gebucht hatte. Mir ist ein Budgetzimmer gegeben worden. Mitarbeiter beim check-in unfreundlich und nicht complaint.
Fernseher im Zimmer kaputt, Kabeln hingen aus den Wänden. Badezimmer unsauber, der Boden in der Dusche total dreckig und verschimmelt, die Toilette hat wahrscheinlich noch nie eine Entkalkung gesehen....

Bra närhet till teatern. Inget varmt välkomnande , fel rum först 10 grader och campingstolar, rättades dock snabbt till av värden, men även det riktiga rummet och badrummet mycket kallt. Snöade men vägen till frukosten inte sandad , halt.
