Fairly good location, reasonably close to the Old Town. The facilities are clean and functional, though it was odd that there wasn’t a proper stand-up shower. The ambience feels a little cold and utilitarian, and I didn’t try the café/bar as it didn’t seem particularly inviting.

Overall, it’s perfectly adequate as a base for exploring the city, but not somewhere you’d choose to spend much time beyond sleeping. A solid three-star hotel — nothing more, nothing less.

Parkování v hotelu velmi dobré a bezpečné. Pracovníci recepce slušní, nápomocní a informativní na dotazy. Pokoj čistý, uklizený, prostorný, teplý za zimního počasí, lžíce na boty a pantofle na místě. Koupelna veliká prostorná a čistá, dostatečně vybavena. Snídaně bohaté s velkým výběrem rozmanitosti od masa, sýrů, zeleniny, dezertů po jogurty a cosi jako vegan. Prostor pro snídaně veliký a v něm personál ochotný, slušný, zvládal častý nápor strávníků lačných po dobré snídani. Umístění hotelu v centru města bezvadné. Celkově lze říci, že tento hotel je na úrovni v Evropě a celý personál je vstřícný, slušný a jazykově vybaven pro lepší zítřky a budoucnost. Děkujeme za nabídku ubytování. Pospíšil Josef

Pleasant hotel , overall good stay . Shortage of sockets in the room , would've been nice to have a charging slot around the coffee table in the room or next to the bed at least ? Bed comfortable , but the pillows were way way too soft , couldn't sleep , but that's just me perhaps .

My room was too small. I cannot even move around in my bathroom.

Breakfast was good.

I walked to Old Town and nearby areas. I went joigging to the river and to the castle.

Will I book again? Maybe if the bathroom is bigger.

The hotel stay was unacceptable. The room was not cleaned for two days, despite my complaint after the first night. The sink was clogged and remained unfixed. Maintenance was severely lacking, and a noisy bathroom vent disrupted my sleep. The management was unresponsive—I waited two days to speak with the manager, who showed no concern, took no responsibility, and offered no compensation. This experience was far below any reasonable standard, let alone that of a '4-star' hotel. A truly disappointing and poorly managed establishment.

Wonderful Hotel- shower area is a little tricky

There is no curtain or door for shower area- it's just a tub with a hand held shower sprayer. If you are used to a more westernized shower- this will take some figuring out. Other than that, Front desk was very friendly and check-in was easy. Room was comfy for our family of 3. (two adults & 1 teenager) The location was great- we were able to walk to all the places we wanted to see, including the Christmas market, & the breakfast was most impressive with a wonderful staff. Would definitely stay here again.

City away in Bratislava

Group of friends in Bratislava for Manchester City game. Wanted to be near old town and Tatra was just a short walk away and perfect for our needs. The hotel wasn’t cheap but gave good value.

Hotel has cenral location and it is very easy to reach old towm by walk. We had early flight to Bratislava and came to hotel only to leave our luggage, but receptionist let us to check in and we get our rooms at 10a.m. It was very pleasure and we really appreciate that. Rooms were spacy and comfortable. We also liked breakfast with a lot of choices of warm and cold food. One morning it was even served Bratislavas bagel with walnuts and poppy filling and these bagels were very tasty. We enjoyed to stay here :)

The hotel was in good central location the receptionist were friendly and helpful but the spa facilities were run by a separate company who were difficult to get hold of and I was told they will not answer the door if they are with a client and their facilities l suspect are very small because by the time I met one of their staff they were fully booked days in advance. Also very pricey. 2nd issue was the cleaning staff could have made more effort to clean the room, the carpet was quite dirty much of the time and they didn't change or clean the cups in the room but these could be seen as minor faults for everything else was fine in probably the best valued 4 star hotel in bratislava

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Loud banging in the room from electrical system, every 10-30 seconds, all day and night long - no sleeping possibly even with earplugs and white noise. Staff knew about it and said they could not do anything about it. Total torture, no sleep for 2 days. Thanks Tatra!

The hotel has some major problems with air conditioning. We were first offered a room in which the air conditioning started leaking water and it made my luggage wet. After that I was given another room where air conditioning did not work. Then I went back to the original room where the air conditioning made noise throughout the night. The hotel calls itself a 4 star hotel but it has no 4 star qualities.

Hotel in great location. Fixtures and fittings dated and thus there is some wear and tear in the carpets and furniture including stains. But despite this it was clean especially the bathroom. Breakfast was great and lots to choose from. It was a family holiday so we didn't use any of the other facilities. Don't expect a modern hotel rather one that is functional and serves a purpose to sleep and explore Bratislava.

The location was about 15 minutes easy walk to the tourist attractions and Old Town. Covered hotel parking was nice. Hotel staff was professional, efficient, and knowledgeable of local area and history. The housekeepers were friendly and smiled. Front desk staff spoke English well. Breakfast was excellent with hot and cold, good variety, however the second day a tour bus load ate most of the breakfast and the food was not replenished much. I noticed the breakfast staff setting the tables wore gloves which was very nice to see such cleanliness! The rest of the breakfast staff were pleasant and smiled. Rooms were equally clean and great WiFi. Highly recommended.

Overall a good place

This hotel will remind you of the old Soviet style buildings but it is clean. The front desk staff were especially helpful. They called for taxis and helped with information whenever needed. They changed money, made calls and looked up information on the internet on Slovak websites. The restaurant was surprisingly good considering I was their only customer on a Friday night. The included breakfast was good; sitting alone at a table for 10 was interesting. Felt very Soviet. The hotel is a little the worse for wear but kept clean and the bed was comfy. Overall a good place.

A well positioned Hotel with nice rooms and a short walk into the old city (Alt Stat). The Wifi worked well and the City is clean safe and great value, the only real issue is smoking, people smoking in the Hotel Bar meant we hardly used it and the same problem in some bars and eating establishments downtown, you forget what it was like before it was banned!!!

The people and the welcome was warm and despite the smoke I would recommend a visit.

The hotel is very centrally located to the old town , it’s lovely and clean and rooms are very spacious . However the room we had was not air conditioned and it was cooler in the corridors than our room . We were provided with a fan but it had limited effect .
