Adorable clean and stylish small hotel with friendly and most helpful staff. My friend and I had wonderful experience enjoying the food, tried the hot tub, the sauna and the spa services. Would love to come back again.

Amazing place to stay. The staff was very nice and in-house restaurant serves delicious feed. The only thing we didn't like was that the room was rather small. The wash basin in the bathroom also pretty small. Other than that, we liked the vibe.

Expedia takes card details on secure portal, than it sends open text message to hotel (including CVT).
Operator punches numbers from printed copy to finalize on payment terminal, it is a joke.
Do not take card details while booking, and I had no choice to finalize booking.

Loved almost everything about this place. Only problem is the staff will run your card in your currency and charge a fee for that without telling you. You always have a choice. It's a lot easier to let them know before handing them the card, otherwise they will tell you there was no option.

Nice clean hotel. Serves excellent food at very reasonable prices. Service was really good until the night they had a wedding at the hotel. The hotel guests were quickly forgotten about. This spoilt a perfect stay.

So glad I followed the advice of other Hotels.com users and chose this hotel. Yes, it is a way's away from everything and that is just what makes it great. Gorgeous location, lovely staff and great food. I'm a vegetarian and I'm often wary of dining options at hotel restaurants - they can be a bit too touristy and therefore too meat-oriented. The breakfasts were outstanding and I ate two excellent meat-free meals for an incredible price. Would stay here again to walk those Tatra trails! My only complaint to the hotel staff - wash those bedspreads!!! It's a cleaning detail often overlooked and it was definitely not done at Dwor Karolowka. Apart from that small detail, a great visit.

A little out of town but we had a car ;-)

Our room was small and cramped for 2 people, however the hotel itself was nice and pleasing. We asked for a bigger room but the receptionist said that the hotel was at capacity and could not switch us (fair enough). Staff were pleasant but did not go out of their way to ask how things were. The breakfast buffet that was included in our rate was fabulous. All in all, can't complain aside for the small quarters that we had.

Room was a triple. layout of room was OK, but the room had a musty smell and the carpeting was extremely soiled. Beds were not very comfortable. I would not stay there again. The breakfast was, however, wonderful

Good out of town hotel

Room was large, with separate sitting area. Hotel is very attractive externally. Our room had a view of the car park, rather than the hills. You can catch a regular minibus (runs every 15 mins) from Zakopane bus / train station to the hotel - best to show a map to the driver if you don't speak Polish. Main drawback was the 'blocked drains' smell in the bathroom. We reported on the 1st morning (2 night stay) but had not been fixed for the 2nd night. Staff friendly & helpful. Pleasant woodland walk 10 mins down the road on the left on the way in to Zakopane.

Great Hotel Away From Downtown Core - Priced Well

We stayed here here two nights during May 2012. The location is away from the city, but not to worry, just a short distance of 4-5/km to get you to where you want to be. Breakfast had a nice variety and enough for everyone. The jacuzzi hot tub is great, don't forgot to open the window to air out the room-it will make it more pleasant. Rooms were overall clean and beds were comfortable. I would go back in a heart beat!
Don't forgot to visit Morski Oko... the place we got engaged.

Pretty new hotel on the edge of Tatra National Park. Close to hiking and beautiful scenery. Hotel was beautiful, staff were friendly, and the room was great. Would definitely return.

Stunning looking hotel, comfortable room, great value! I would love to stay here again, the (English speaking) staff are also wonderful and were happy to help me out with a few queries I had... even cancelling my last night (as my plans had changed) at no charge. If you dont mind being a few km out of town I would highly recommend this place, and the breakfast is pretty good too.

Beautiful and unique hotel

We went to Zakopane for our honeymoon and chose Dwor Karolowka as our hotel. The hotel is gorgeous and looks like a huge log cabin. Although it is not totally secluded, it is far enough from the city center that it is very quiet. The view and surroundings are absolutely gorgeous and at night it is completely dark and quiet, which we loved. The hotel itself was very rustic yet also somewhat fancy. Our room was very nice, with a big balcony and the interior was all wood (like a cabin). The best part of our stay was the staff. They were so polite and helpful and were very patient with my less-than-perfect Polish. Anytime we needed information about local attractions, etc. they were more than happy to assist us. Also, a free breakfast was included, which had a variety of delicious Polish food. Our overall experience was fantastic and we would love to go stay at Dwor Karolowka again. We truly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Zakopane.

Klidný pobyt pro odpočinek

Celý pobyt byl bez nějaké zásadní chybičky, takže všem toto ubytování plně doporučuji a jelikož cena byla příznivá, tak jsem některé drobnosti byl schopen v pohodě přijmout.

Ein schönes Hotel etwas abseits von Zakopane. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Frühstück und Abendessen sind zu empfehlen auch für Vegetarier. Beim Abendessen Nachfragen. Guter Standort für Touren in die Umgebung.

It is a pleasant hotel. The staff is very helpful (though they do not speak so good English in the restaurant).

Parking is for free and the breakfast is good.

The rooms are big and quiet, and the beds are very comfortable.

Całkiem niezłe miejsce. Tuż obok przystanki busów. Restauracja hotelowa w zupełności satysfakcjonująca strudzonego wędrowca :). W upalne dni trochę brakuje klimatyzacji w pokoju, ale nie ma tragedii. Czysto. Obsługa miła.

POLECAMY!!!

Początkowo otrzymaliśmy pokój w niezbyt atrakcyjnej lokalizacji (przy głównym holu) Jednak po naszej prośbę przeniesiono nas do bardzo komfortowego pokoju z balkonem. Na pewno hotel musi bardziej zadbać o usunięcie grzybów w spoinach kabin przysznicowych - problem pojawiał się w obu pokojach. Śniadania bardzo obfite i smaczne. Dania w karcie równiez smaczne - polecamy makaron z wieprzowiną i borowikami. Obsługa bardzo przyjemna - nie robiła problemów gdy poprosiliśmy o delikatne wydłużenia doby hotelowej. Generalnie polecamy i zamierzamy gościć w Karolówce w przyszłości :)

Чудесный отель, очень уютные номера. Персонал немного говорит по-русски. Обязательно вернемся туда еще раз)
Единственное неудобство -не очень хорошо ходит транспорт, поэтому желательно приезжать на машине.
