Another lovely stay! We booked a room last year for one night while travelling through Spain and France with our dog. It was fantastic and one of the best night of sleep we’d had in years - the mattress was so comfortable. As a result, we booked again for one night on our travels with our dog this year, and it did not disappoint. We will definitely stay again! Highly recommended!

I enjoyed the gardens around the property; the building itself was gorgeous! However, my door did not automatically lock even after I was given a new key card, and the bathroom had an odd smell that persisted even after I had left the doors open to air it out.

The rooms are very big. The cimplex is HUGE. I was looking forward to a swim in the indoor pool, as advertised. But there isnt a swimming pool. There is an enormous thermal mineral spa (1000m) on site that people travel here to use. The hotel charge €37 to go in. But on a saturday you have to pre book and it was full.
Also, the hotel website advertise a room, including dinner and entry to the thermal spa for same as we paid via expedia, for just a room!!!

Ok but not a 4 star hotel

It is an old 4 stars hotel... Need some renovations. Air conditioning didn't work properly, not enough soundproof, on the first night the hotel had organised a party next to the swimming pool & our room was on that side, we couldn't sleep until the music stopped at 2:30am !!!
Breakfast was very complete, lots of choice, ok for the price (12€/person).

Very large . Very empty. Could be lovely and maybe it is with more people there and when the outdoor pool etc are operating .
Shower and bath did not work correctly. Smoke alarm is in the middle of the bedroom so flashes in your eyes all night.
Thermal pools good but you pay extra for them.

Nice spa hotel close to the beach and wine area

Very pleasant stay during Easter days although everywhere else was crowded. Hotel was also fully booked but everything worked well, no major queues anywhere. Breakfast was a bit busy, otherwise really enjoyed the quiet break and thermal spas.

I WOULD SAY THIS WAS A BEAUTIFUL HOTEL ONCE

Reception area was nice only half of water feature working. The room was comfortable with lots of space. no coffee/tea in room. Bed sheets were not changed when asked to, as I had bug bites.
the main spa was closed and no towels left in small spa when requested. Gym equipment outdated and useless. breakfast was ok, coffee from vending machine-not so good. the glass screens.on balcony rattled all night due to winds. the grounds would have been nice if maintained. As a business traveller this was not the best - maybe for a romantic getaway. but needs a lot of work/money in bringing it back to a 4-star hotel which I am accustomed to.

Lovely hotel away from the hustle and bustle

we loved this hotel the ambiance the food, the extensive gardens, aquatonic pool and spa
it was really nice to be in the Catalan part of Spain and although there were not many English speaking people
we managed as all the staff were hard working and there to look after their guests and always made the effort to understand
There were English speaking receptionists who were excellent and they had the menu translated into English
Esther was very helpful
We hope to return sometime to this hotel

The hotel is older than the pictures show, everything looks as if it has been done 20 years ago (or longer) and it`s mainly focussed on older Spanish clientèle. If you like to go down memory lane, this is the place to book but for us it was a mediocre experience

Our honeymoon visit to Hotel Termes Montbrio

The staff was kind and helpful with most things. They spoke many different languages so we were able to communicate if not in English than Spanish. The hotel and grounds are lovely and very well-kept. We didn't make use of the spa, but I saw that this was a main feature of the hotel. Breakfast buffet was lovely and very comprehensive to both the local and international taste. I would suggest going early to breakfast as it gets a little crazy closer to closing time.

Two downsides: The wifi was spotty at best, and there is nothing to do outside the hotel within walking distance. The surroundings are lovely, and we drove to all the places we wanted to visit, so it wasn't a huge issue. But something to keep in mind.

The quality of service is good. Everyone is willing to help if you ask. We came during the busy season, though, so you could still find yourself sitting at the bar for 10 minutes before being served.

Old & Outdated, Felt like a seniors facility.

This Hotel looked great and was recommended by Hotels.com. However upon arrival the hotel was not as it seemed. I almost think this hotel was a seniors home converted to a hotel. The rooms are very outdated and basic. Cleanliness of the rooms was OK, not great.Like staying in your grandmas spare room. The outdoor pool was closed. The indoor pool is part of the spa and is 100 euros more. The only people at the hotel were seniors 70+. Hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, you will need to drive 15min into town. My wife and I decided not to stay at the hotel after looking at the room and walking around the property. The management was very nice, and agreed to cancel our reservation for the additional nights. I lost the one night $130 euros, kinda sucks :( I would not recommend this hotel.

Beautiful, but stay was too short!

Our stay was much too short... less than a day. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the place because google maps directed us to a back entrance from within the small town of Montbrio. We were able to contact the hotel's concierge/front desk who helped us find our way. Excellent staff who also assisted with a few other items during our short stay. Would love to have stayed at this place for a few days...

Amazing SPA

We stayed in this hotel as an overnight stop whilst making our way back to the UK. I wished we would have stayed another couple of nights! The hotel was fantastic, clean, very helpful staff who spoke good English and an amazing SPA. Although we paid extra for the SPA afternoon it did allow our 7yr old to use the facility and we all had a great time trying out the different pool treatments. Ample parking and offered to keep my mountain bike in a safe place overnight which I didn't think was required as it's in a very quiet village and has security on the main drive. Not sure if I really want this little gem of a place to become any more popular, but I highly recommend it (and it's only 30 mins from Barcelona)

Language barrier issues and overpriced spa treatments

Nice hotel however was more outdated than expected from the photos.
Spa treatments are very overpriced - couldnt find list of treatments online before we got there or a direct contact number for the hotel to ask.
The spa itself was nice although not very luxourious.

We had a lot of trouble in the restaurant - the menu translation to English is appalling. It was difficult to know what you were ordering and didnt get what we thought we ordered.
We also had some problems with ordering as the staff hadnt got great English.
The menu is the same for lunch and dinner.

Hotel room was nice and clean.
There is nothing in the town - no restaurants were open and you would need to drive to Cambrils instead for restaurants/nightlife.
Overall hotel was fine for one night but I wouldnt recommend it.

Habitación grande (quadruple) con amplio espacio para familia con 2 hijos. Decor, muebles y alfombra ya con muchos kilometros, es hora de renovar. Mi peor preocupación es que no queda nada claro si las piscinas interiores estan incluidas o no...en hotels.com no habla de suplementos pero allí decian que no están incluidas y que cuesta 37eur por persona. Finalmente no me lo cobraron pero causó estrés.

Hunden fick följa med, stort rum men det var slitet, gammalt och mattan var otroligt ofräsch i rummet. Ena dubbelsängen knarrade så mycket att det inte gick att vända sig. Väldigt dålig standard på rummet och gamla hårstrån i badrummet.

Very strange experience. Maybe because of season. The old aquatonic part looked very nice and the garden was also nice. Why do you not use that area more? Instead the totally no charm restaurant with strong hospital lights. So uncosy. Very big hotel that seem to have lost its sooe.

Dette hotellet var nok på toppen av pyramiden da det ble bygget. Nå er det bare en tidsreise fra en svunnen tid, uten at sjarmen er opprettholdt. Stort rom trekker opp, men dårlig lydisolering og slitte arealer trekker ned.

Accueil professionnel, beau hall d’entrée. Malheureusement la chambre sentait le tabac froid nous l avons signalé à l accueil qui a fait passer une personne du ménage pour désodoriser. Le personnel du bar n est pas du tout aimable en revanche, restaurant complet à 20h, nous avons mangé des tapas beaucoup trop chers pour cette qualité. Hygiène des tables du bar à revoir.
En revanche la piscine est très agréable, le petit déjeuner très copieux et l accueil aimable. Le plus : une borne de charge électrique au sous-sol.

Para su precio en comparación con otros mucho más económicos y mejor cuidados detalles como la moqueta del pasillo desteñidas , las mampara de los baños con la cal pegada al igual que los soportes de los jabones y ya no hablar del inodoro que no estaba limpio por el asiento del mismo no está mal el lugar pero no es lo esperado para lo que cobran

El hotel en si no esta mal,habitacion bien el spa por lo que se paga muy simple ya que sus instalaciones estan en obras y el que te ofrecen un spa muy simple piscina y jacuzzi se pasa frio fuera de jacuzzi.Contratamos el masaje duo supuestamente te dicen 50 minutos en cual estuvieron 35 minutos pagando ( 200e.)

En general bien pero el sofá cama muy incómodo se te clavan los muelles. El spa necesita mantenimiento. Bonitos los jardines pero había peces muertos en el lago. El restaurante solo tenía opción de menú completo por la noche y no podias compartir ni tomar medio menú. Era caro 40€

Muy anticuado, igual que hace 40 años. Edificio que necesita muchas mejoras, desde la puerta giratoria de la entrada que no funciona(y parece que nadie se molesta en arreglar), hasta sus jardines sin cuidar, ascensor que tienes que andar kilómetros hasta tu habitación. Camas supletorias mas pequeñas que un sofá. Ventana en la ducha que te pueden ver desde fuera. Alfombras en la habitación con grapas que te puedes pinchar los pies... Y sobre todo sin aire acondicionado, que aun estando encendido no llega el aire (menos aire que un ventilador)
Tengo que añadir, que los recepcionistas son atentos y simpáticos.
Es el edificio el que necesita mejorar muchisimo.

Nous avons voyagés en couple pour nos vacances en ce week end de pont.

Nous avons été profondément déçus de notre voyage en raison des points suivants :

- Parties communes :

L'hôtel sent mauvais et est peu entretenu, limite laissé à l'abandon. Les moquettes au sol dans les parties communes ont cramées au soleil, il n'est plus au goût du jour.

Les infrastructures sont très vieilles !

- Etat de la chambre :

Pas terrible avec odeur d'égout provenant des canalisations, papier peint qui tient avec du scotch, de nombreuses mouches partout dés qu'on ouvre la fenêtre et un lit très low-cost (je dors mieux par terre), le sol est sale et n'a pas été nettoyé lors du séjour.
La femme de ménage se contente de faire simplement le lit.. c'est indigne d'un 4 étoiles.

- Petit-déjeuner :

Il est sans intérêt, il n'y a que des produits surgelés et de très mauvais goût. Vous mangerez mieux en achetant des pâtisseries chez Lidl.

- Spa / Piscine :

Il faut savoir qu'il ne sont pas inclus lors de votre réservation. Au vu du prix, ceci est purement scandaleux.
La piscine était vide lors de notre passage et cela n'était indiqué nulle part !
Pour le Spa, ce n’est pas inclus et c’est 3h max.
Economisez votre argent car c'est vieux et rempli de rouille !!

Pour résumer cette expérience, elle a été pitoyable.
Un hôtel indigne d'un 4 étoiles, nous avons le sentiment se s'être fait arnaqué et j'espère obtenir un remboursement en guise de préjudice moral !

Fuyez et partez loin de cet hôtel !

Spa maravilloso, no hay cafetería hasta las 10.40

El spa excelente y la oferta familiar (niños gratis) muy bien. El único fallo, la recepcionista de la tarde que nos dijo que podíamos desayunar en el bufé o en la cafetería. Naturalmente, el bufé es excesivo (18 por persona), con lo cual decidimos escoger la cafetería. A la mañana siguiente nos dicen que la cafetería solo abre a partir de las 10 y media de la mañana. O sea, que o bufé, o nada. Ese tipo de informaciones incorrectas perjudican a las familias con niños que quieren organizarse.

Hôtel à potentiel mais service moyen (attente pour le check-in inacceptable), des odeurs d’égout dans la chambre, un petit-déjeuner qui ne commence qu’à 8h et des tas de choses manquantes au petit-déjeuner (dont des yaourts!).
Bref un 4 étoiles qui ne les vaut pas. Dommage.

An overall good experience! With the beautiful garden and the interior of the lobby it really feels like you landed just in the right place. However the cleaning could have been a bit better. The spa was also really nice, but enforced more strict rules than other spas regarding cleanliness and what you could do! We had to use bathing hats and was not allowed to bring anything to the pools such as phone or valuables. But in general the pool area and the sauna was really good. It’s good for a quick relaxing time. The spa is only open on weekends from 10:00-14:00 and 16:00-20:00.

Nous avons passé un super moment, la suite était géniale. Un lit type futon avec bain jacuzzi. L’endroit est très bien, propre et très relaxant.

Ensemble satisfaisant mais piscine un peu petite en cette periode les transats sont vite pris d'assaut. Bar fantome au bord de la piscine il faut aller commander au bar interieur c'est dommage.
La literie c'etait pas le top niveau confort, baie vitré de la baignoire pas assez grande donc de leau partout apres chaque douche.
Pour un hotel**** il faudrait au moins une cafetière dans les chambres. L'absence d'une brosse wc est déplorable. Le futon dans la chambre de mes filles qui fesait office de 3eme lit pas confortable du tout ma fille était pressée de retrouver son lit.
Restaurant au top et au niveau d'un hotel*** pour le reste l'hôtel ne merite pas 4 etoiles.

L hotel est tres bien malgré une chambre grande certes mais qui aurait besoin d être refaites . Papier peint décollé. Joint de salle de bain ayant un peu vécu. . Hotel qui accepte les animaux. Mais vous ne pouvez pas aller au restaurant avec... même pas en service terrasse. Alors que mors de notre sejour l an dernier cela était possible. Je pense que le maitre d hotel de l an dernier etait plus proche de ses clients . Piscine tres agreable . Mais ferme a 19 h et en cette saison c est un peu tot . Je n'ai pu en profiter seulement 30 mn .. je pense que je ne réserverais plus dans cette établissement.

Tiene la nevera sin ninguna bebida, el vestíbulo es un horno, la grifería está llena de cal, de lo antigua que es, el televisor pequeño y muy antiguo, piscina exterior es 10 por 15 metros (pequeña). El Spa se paga aparte, es muy pequeño. El que había antes, más grande está en remodelación hasta el año que viene.
¡En lo que no hay queja es el desayuno!
¡Con tres estrellas estaría sobrado!

Hemos ido varias veces y el hotel me encanta. El recinto es espectacular, la piscina está súper bien, las habitaciones no están mal y el Aquatonic está muy bien. El problema de este hotel es el personal y la falta de mantenimiento en algunas zonas. La chica que está en recepción no está nada bien colocada. El personal de la cafetería está bien, pero necesitas manual para saber dónde se puede comer. En unas mesas sí se permite, pero en otras a los 2 metros, no. Además, la piscina se debería limpiar más veces al día y si se ofreciera comida en el bar de la piscina, la gente no necesitaría salir del recinto.

It was a very Nice hotel. We got a very big room, clean, nice and calm. A small pearl. We took a swim in the Aquatonic, which was a nice place. We would recommend this hotel to others.

Bien un sitio como y relajado pero lo único malo que quisimos ampliar un día y nos cobraban 160 euros me parece excesivo la piscina de los pequeños parecía que no la limpiaban desde que inauguraron el hotel pero por lo demás muy bien

Vous pensez venir dans un hôtel avec piscine, il n en est rien. Les bains sont situés à part dans un très vieux bâtiment, obscur et payant 22 e / personne pour 3 h 00.il y a duperie.
