Great place clean , safe and great staff. The hotel is on the edge of town so the streets and major artery in the area get very congested during rush hour. Plan accordingly if you need to get to the airport.

Wouldn’t return – mixed experience

We stayed at Green Factory Hotel while in Bogotá for the Chayanne concert. We appreciated that the hotel offered roundtrip transportation to the concert for 50,000 COP per person — it was smooth and well-organized. The staff was also friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

However, several downsides impacted our overall experience:
•There is no air conditioning, and when we opened the windows for ventilation, an overwhelming number of flies came in — we had to close them.
•No hot water made showers uncomfortable.
•The elevator only worked the first night and was out of service for the next three days.
•Breakfast was basic. On the first day, staff made us fried eggs, but the next day they said only scrambled eggs were available due to being short-staffed.
•The location is in a very industrial area with nothing nearby to do. We took an Uber to Cota’s main park, but there was really nothing of interest, so we returned to the hotel quickly.
•The only amenity available was a pool table.

While the room was clean and the concert transportation was a nice touch, the lack of comfort, amenities, and the poor location mean we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Nice hotel, really good food, long waiting times

The hotel is nice, however it can get a little noisy.
The food is amazing at the restaurant, I would say comparable to any fine dining restaurant, however you will have to wait long time to get your feast, which could be a little frustrating.

Beware!

Firstly, note that the hotel is pretty far from the airport and you will have to pay more since you'll leave Bogota to get there (we paid 4x what it takes to get to the center of Bogota from the airport to get to this hotel). When we arrived, we ate at the restaurant, where the waitress brought us the wrong food (then charged us twice) and threw away my leftovers after saying she'd box them up. We were told we had to pay for food that we hadn't been provided and decided to take it up with the hotel. The hotel told us there was nothing they could do, despite them acknowledging that the bill was inaccurate; we were told that we would get an exit survey to leave our complaints. The elevator wasn't working so we had to walk up and down 5 flights of stairs during our stay. The pool/jacuzzi had no water in it, though they still advertised that it was functional. There was extremely loud drilling and construction work going on right outside all day, for which we were told to wear earplugs. They did switch us to another room at our request, though it was still very audible. The bed was not very comfortable, although the shower was nice. The rooms are very small, though that had been advertised. At check out, the staff decided not to provide us with a survey as they did not want our honest feedback. While the aesthetic is nice, our experience here was terrible and not worth the stress of dealing with the disrespectful and incompetent staff.

The Real Factory Inn

O thou the location in Google map is wrong when one try to navigate to the Hotel taking one to an undesirable location. Using the map in their web site the Hotel is in a good location with plenty of conveniences, facilities, and quality ambient.

Don't use their shuttle service.

We enjoyed everything and we will definitely return. The only thing that disappointed us was when we asked to be taken somewhere by their shuttle service, they charged us about four times what they should have charged. I suggest that if you want to use their shuttle service, ask how much it would be ahead of time. Taking a taxi would have been better by far.

Nice hotel close to the industrial area

Its a good experience, all the staff on the hotel are very helpful, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, the restaurant has a very good selection of dishes, but the only thing they need to improve its the noises they need to isolate more the noises coming from outside the room.

When i made the reservation, I was told this Hotel was minutes away from the Eldorado airport. This is misleading and i would suggest they do not state this anymore. Aside this particular fact, i did enjoy my stay at the hotel. very nice people, friendly, clean and prompt to help at all times.

Great Location just outside of Bogota

Great hotel hinting to the luxury side. Staff was great and room was clean and with upscale amenities. I missed not having a coffee maker in the room, specially for the price they charged. The shower head was awesome with the exception that it is located right above your head and not off to the side. The pillows were way too soft, but the bed very comfortable. Overall, great hotel.

Inconvenient to El Dorado

The hotel was perfect . . . except for its location. Perhaps I misread its proximity to BOG's El Dorado, but it is outside of the regular taxi range and requires a radio taxi. While the hotel transport service charge seemed high, it paled when compared to the actual taxi charge, which ate up all of the savings I thought I would enjoy. If you are doing business in the area, it is good value for the money. If you need an overnight stay near BOG, look elsewhere.

Muy desagradable mi estancia en la habitación que se supone es la mejor o por lo menos la que más vale. El colchón estaba totalmente deformado. Las sábanas rotas y cortas para el tamaño de la almohada. Hicieron un asado en el restaurante y todas las habitaciones se llenaron de humo, no hubo ninguna solución a este problema. Toallas manchadas y viejas.
