The hotel is very clean but very basic. The only problem I had was the bedsheets were of the worst quality. They were so scratchy and cheap it was hard to sleep. Even the blanket felt like cardboard.
The breakfast was as basic as it can be.
The staff was nice and cheerful and helpful.
Also the hotel had turned their system to heat so we could not cool our room. If we opened the widnow the room filled with mosquitos. Needless to say, we never slept a wink ! It was rough !

Staff was lovely. Every request was met. Rooms are nice and basic but clean and comfortable. Bathroom water pressure is off the charts. Nice and hot as well.

Very nice property and comfortable clean room. I liked the Catholic/religious themed decorations. Breakfast was good - you can order eggs the way you like them. A bit pricey at 10 euros. One downside - the hotel desk is not always manned so when we left we just left our keys and assumed our payment was okay. Second downside - No conditioner in the bathroom. No microwave and no tea/coffee sets. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable and fit our needs as we were there for pilgrimage.

In planning this trip, I had no idea of where to stay, but wanted something conveniently located and central to everything. In Medjugorje, everything seems centrally located because it is so small. However, this hotel is off the Main Street and somewhat separate from the crowds, which is nice. The walk to St James was no more that 5 minutes, the walk to the foot of Apparition Hill about 20 minutes. We walked everywhere with ease!!
Also in planning the trip, we started in the US, flying to Rome. We spent 2 nights in Rome before flying to Mostar. I contacted the Hotel and they provided a shuttle from the airport to the Hotel for 70 Euro (2 people, a return shuttle was also provided for an additional 70 Euro). I all I feel it was well worth the expense.
The Hotel was excellent!!! Very clean!!! But the best part was the staff!!!!!!!! They were very helpful in all aspects of the trip. The coffee was excellent, with espresso/mocha machine in the breakfast room and at the checkin counter.
The breakfast was good with eggs and sausage or just eggs. Cheese, ham and sausage were also sliced up and available. Fruit, yogurt, cereal, juices and small pastries rounded out the menu. In all, excellent!!

Thus hotel is outstanding. As we joined a spiritual journey to Medjugorje, we knew we would be busy and in need of comfort. It would be difficult to beat the Palace for all your needs, and the quiet solitude, with an incredible view of Apparition Hill. I highly recommend this hotel and will be back.

Amazing place the services is great. I will recommend Hotel Palace for anybody who is coming to visit Medjugorje, its a walking distance to the church and the center of the town as well as the apparition hill (further place about 30min walking) they also offer tours in Spanish. The staff is very helpful with anything that you will need.

The rooms are big and clean, bathroom is excellent with good water pressure and warm water. Staff very friendly and speak good English. The only point that really needs improvement is that there is no fridge in the room. That is outdated, you must have the option to store water or drinks cool and perhaps, or if applicable put your medicines there.

This place is great! We were on a Medjugorje religious pilgrimage and this hotel is in a PERFECT area. Always clean & such a friendly staff! Only a 8 minute walk to St. James Church and all the faith-filled activities Medjugorje had to offer. Plus, an easy walk to the base of Apparition Hill. Great breakfast, A/C throughout the hotel, reception had a bar counter which offered freshly made cappuccino, espresso, beer, and other cold beverages. Cost of hotel beverages was VERY reasonable plus excellent restaurants within 5 minutes of this hotel. Overall a great choice for us.
