Location is excellent. No need to rent a golf cart. We were able to walk to almost everywhere. The staff were all wonderful. Extremely helpful, and so very nice and friendly - and I do mean all of them from the front desk clerk, to the food and beverage manager - could not have been nicer. The hotel is beautiful, and the complimentary rum punch every afternoon was something you won't get anywhere else that I know of. From now on this is our go-to accommodations in Key West!

Noisy!!! Our room on the second floor basically overlooked the bar with nightly band playing. I had asked for a room near the elevator as my husband has mobility problems. The elevator closest to us was not working. We had an extremely long and stressful drive from Fort Lauderdale. I asked to be moved.
The room on the fourth floor wasn't any better. Long walk from the elevator and then 10 steps down to the hallway leading to our room! The phone in the room did not work. The luggage rack in the room was broken. It goes on and on.
We left a day early.

Black mold on the ceiling in shower, toenail clippings left behind by previous guest, elevators were dirty, no water to the building for a few hours while they made “emergency repairs“, power outage for several hours, fire alarm going off in the middle of the night on two occasions because of email function. Very, very slow service at the bar.

We arrived at the hotel an hour after check-in and the room wasn’t available with no real attempt to apologize for the inconvenience. The elevator closer to our room wasn’t working so it was hike to the elevators, we weren’t informed of the production being filmed there in spite of receiving a welcome call the week before, etc. Our room was right near the pool and prepping for filming as well was tearing down (at 2:52am!) was a bit loud …
In addition, there was no drawer space in the sleeping area or bathroom, no microwave, no place to hang wet towels in the bathroom, no readily available ice machine, bottle fill up stations had no cold water (room temperature). I frequently stay at autograph hotels and have never experienced this lack of comfort/amenities.

I stayed Feb 3- Feb 6 2026 the weather had turned colder when I got into my room it was 58 degrees, I turned up the heat in my room and it just got colder. I went downstairs and was told the hotel had no heat! Then I asked to speak to the manager and she lied telling me no hotel in Key West has HEAT! The Casa Marina was finished in 1920 and had heat along with others. She offers me more blanket’s! I’m paying $1,8000 for three nights in a room that’s 58 degrees. I asked about a heater, they only had a few and other rooms had them. Then I asked for a discount on the room. She took off $80.00 a night. I eventually got a heater that didn’t work well. The only good thing about this hotel was the location, everything else was mediocre.

La Concha is a very nice Hotel, located in a great spot on Duval St, accessible to whatever you may want to do while in Key West. We enjoyed breakfast at Perla, and the rooftop outdoor pool and lounge areas, as well as the rooftop pool bar. We had one issue during our stay with housekeeping but this was handled by the manager, and we had no further problems. There is a shop onsite for snacks and such, and a nice coffee shop onsite. The Mojito bar is fabulous as well. On the main level, there are many comfortable seating areas to take a rest between activities. It is a historic hotel and there are little touches within the rooms and the hotel, such as framed artwork in the rooms, and vibrant colored accent walls as a nod to the colors of Key West. We enjoyed our stay. Note that check in time is not until 4pm or after, so if you arrive early, they'll store your bags, and you should plan activities or the beach to keep you busy until check in time.

Despite being an Autograph Collection property we had peeling ceiling in hallways - could see crumbling external walls from hall windows on floor and housekeeping didn’t come one day and I had to call the front desk for towels and room straightening the remaining three days of our four day vacation. Would have expected more from a Marriott autograph property.

Customer service was terrible. We had an issue with noise in our room, it sounding like an industrial washing machine spinning at top speed throughout parts of the night and day. It was loud enough to wake me up and prevent sleep. The staff was incredibly dismissive of the whole issue, failed to communicate or fix the problem, and left us feeling like they didn’t consider our issue important at all.

Being located on duval they really need to upgrade the windows to something a little more sound proof. I stayed in a suite on the 6th floor and the noise was too much. The value just isn't there.

The room was beautiful and spacious which we loved. Did not like that. The AC would not go below 71°. However, the hotel provided a fan, which was helpful. Additionally, and not sure if it was just in our room, but we had an RV sized toilet, which was not ideal. The shower needs new tiling as it was cracked and leaky. It’s an older hotel so understandable, but overall very nice stay with excellent staff.

Service level was really not up to par for what should be a premier experience. Check-in was very problematic. The credits we received for the inconvenience were not processed correctly. Requested housekeeping items not delivered. Miscommunication with the bell stand. Front desk does not answer and it’s the only way to reach other departments. WiFi not working. QR code on tv for room service not working. It’s a real shame because the decor and location are fantastic.

Absolutely filthy everywhere but the lobby. Once you hit that elevator…boom! Dirty everywhere. Pool had algae all along the interior ledge of the pool. Floors were sticky and never mopped the entire time over the 6 days we were there. Same spills etc…Staff was ok to your face but one wonders how anyone takes their job seriously when no one cares it’s dirty everywhere. We never ate at the hotel.

Hotel rep told us that if we wanted to extend our stay the next day that we absolutely could. The next day comes by and we tell them that we want to stay and they tell us that there’s no rooms available that they’re sold out so we had to find another place and then because we came back to them later in the day when we already told him we were gonna stay they charged us $300 late fee. First time with a Marriott hotel that I’ve ever had an issue like this and to tap it all off the rudeness at the front desk was honestly unbelievable. !!!!

Had to ask reception on 3 separate days for our room to be serviced. Elevator nearest reception looks like it needs a thorough cleaning. No good way to hang towels to dry in order to try to conserve water and detergent. Perimeter breakfast room tables have pedestals that make foot placement problematic. Nice amenities at the pool. Although the property went under renovations, it is still over 100 years old. Staff tried to make us comfortable but the uncomfortable accessibility room, leaking toilet and failure to have onsite facilities that can help with repairs was inconvenient.

Couldn’t have found a better place in downtown Key West on Duvall. This freshly renovated property is wonderful. Stayed in room 229 and was greeted with magnificent walk-in shower, lovely room, very large TV, a refrigerator with a digital temperature display, USB ports built into the headrest on both sides of the bed, and a not too soft and not too hard bed.
Whoever made the decisions on how to do these rooms did a fabulous job.

Highlights-Live band, atmosphere, great parking, good amenities, location & friendly staff. We were in a difficult situation needing a place to stay at the last minute. The staff was extremely helpful in finding two rooms for couples. After being treated poorly by a competing hotel we were extremely appreciative of the understanding & willingness to help us. The facilities were lovely, especially considering being right on Duval. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, we even got an early check in when our plane arrived 4 hours before our designated check in time! The location was perfect, anywhere we wanted to go was walkable. The pool area was so inviting and relaxing, we spent every morning there. The pool itself could have done with an improved filter, the water appeared to have a sheen of oil on top and debris in the pool. Nothing a shower after swimming can’t fix though. On the first day, there was no hot water but it was never an issue after that. The bar in the lobby had amazing mojitos and very attentive service. The coffee shop (El Dom) was not our favorite, but there were several coffee shops close to the hotel, most of them were less than a 2-3 minute walk. The facility has a small gym. We utilized this a couple days but the roof had been leaking so the musty smell and puddles on the floor were a deterrent. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and again. For the price and location, you won’t find a better option!

Beautiful, remodeled hotel with a Cuban retro vibe! The decor fits perfectly on theme and it being right on Duval makes it super convenient to walk to all the near by restaurants and bars. They have $15 daily credit that can be used at any of the on site bars or cafe, and serve breakfast daily as well. The food from the restaurant was great, obviously on the pricier side, but we enjoyed our apps and entrees. Bartenders are knowledgeable and hospitable, and make great drinks! The reservation deck had hammocks we spent hours in, corn hole tables, and perfect areas to sit and lounge above the pool! The pool also has a pool bar and they provide towels. Loved this hotel and will definitely be back. Thank you La Concha!!

Easy to walk to shops, loved the made to order breakfast(all choices, oatmeal, spinach omelet, 2 eggs/sausage/potatoes, cuban toast, eggs benedict) service was excellent throughout hotel, had nice bar, refreshing lemon/lime water, bikes on site for guests to use, nice scent on first floor would have loved if scent was carried thru to upper floors, nice pool area, comfy bed& pillows, nice rain shower. Good nite, very restful sleep. Old hotel rennovated, had some musty smell on some floors, maybe from a water leak or old carpet, but would stay again, recommend to others.
