Although it's an older hotel with a little wear our room was very spacious, clean and bed very comfortable. The staff here were exceptionally friendly and helpful and will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting the Ripon WI area. Oh and it included a full hot breakfast! We will be back.

When I spoke to the hotel they confirmed my stay for Nov. 3rd but when I got there I was told it was for the 4th. So I basically had to pay for 2 nights. I bought your insurance and it has been very difficult to get my money back for the 4th. Still not resolved.
Hotel staff was pleasant but our bed was uncomfortable. It has cheap mattress cover which came off the bed during the night. Sheets had a hole. Wallpaper in the bathroom coming off wall above the shower. Shower doesn't drain.

All ready sent a text and have not heard back Mouthy blonde at desk on check in when we had an unattended barking dog in room beside us on first floor. She was rude and she and I had words. Looking at the money we spent for 5 days should not have to put up with barking dogs or mouthy employees We were put on 2 nd floor which was not convenient for us. Everyone else was lovely. She didn’t adjust bill apparently because we booked thru Expedia which is BS

Check in was poor, Second person came to help and didn't know what process was already completed and seemed to think everything was done when it wasn't. She also asked for my email but didn't check that it was accurate, so I never received an email with the invoice. I had to ask what room we were in and they didn't say what floor. Toilet seat in our room had urine on it; I had to clean it before using it. Freezer in the refrigerator was frozen solid and froze the fridge door shut. Called the front desk and no one would answer, so we had to go to the front desk to let them know of the issues. They did offer to put us in a different room and we didn't choose to do so. They did take money off at least. We hope to avoid having to use this hotel in the future.

Loud mouth blond front desk over dog barking next to our room. She explained that dogs are on first floor. No other room on first floor so we had to move to second floor. Inconvenient. Made reservations way ahead of time. Dogs should not be allowed to be left in rooms alone. Found long hair on towels and in tub. Towels are hard and scratchy. Pillows are awful all need replaced. Breakfast is very good. Need longer hours. Need coin changer in laundry room or a sign that says it’s next door in game room. Last year we stayed and it was very good. Disappointed. I had called to check on laundry room since we were staying longer. Phone ran forever. When rude lady answered , I said, “I thought no one was there ??” She said I was helping someone else “. When we arrived at the property, loud mouth rude blond lady was out smoking. I think she is the one I spoke to on the phone. She is not good for your business!! We weren’t at the Cobblestone long, just a place to stay near Green Lake for golf the next day. Ripon was about 15 minutes from the course. Our tee time was early so we weren’t able to enjoy the Cobblestone’s breakfast.

The hotel has a musty smell and our room also smelled like must and cigarettes. Behind the door in the bathroom it looked as if there was mold on the wall. The pool are is nice, but concrete around hot tub is breaking down and chipping. Staff was amazing as well as the free breakfast and coffee!

We had a very dirty room..,crumbs, hair, Penny’s and a pill on the floor that had not been vacuumed or cleaned up. Lots of hair in all corners. Drain in the bathtub was clogged and the light bar in the bathroom didn’t work. The room was not clean or maintained. We were very disappointed. They told us it would get cleaned the second day, but our room was totally skipped and it didn’t get touched after the first night, then when it did apparently get cleaned after our second night, the only thing they did was make the beds, so I just had to make sure that we kept shoes on and that nobody took that pill on the floor. It was still there after we left the third night. The pool was under maintenance all day Saturday so we couldn’t swim…it was just disappointing. I wouldn’t go back.

No help from night staff

First the loud neighbors kept us up all night then the night staff wouldnt even do anything about it...from 12am.-3am...i called down and she actually told me to go and confront the drunk noisy neighbors because she wouldnt call there room and couldnt go up there apparently...so we almost had to just call tbe cops but then the power goes out and we lost our ac unit and the room go super uncomfortably hot and we were on the 3rd floor which isnt so bad but the elevators went out then the emergency lights didnt even work in the stairwell so it was pitch black trying to lug our luggage down the next morning.....worst exsperence ever

We arrived at 1:00pm after a 15 hour drive and there was not anyone at the desk. We buzzed as directed, so then a young lady appears at the desk and promptly told us with an attitude, that they don’t do any check ins until 3pm. I was a bit surprised to be greeted in that manner. If I were the manager I would train her to say…Hello, Welcome to Cobblestone Hotel and Suites. Your room is not ready just yet, however we can check you in and text you when the room becomes available. Thank you for your patience. At 2:45pm I watched another couple walk up to the desk and check in. I then walked up to the desk and different young lady very nicely checked us in. I am not sure if the first gal was having a bad day,
however she needs to learn some manners if she plans to work in hospitality.

The hotel was lovely and we had a very pleasant stay. It was clean and located in a very cute town. Convenient shopping and parking.

The staff here was so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was hot and plentiful. My pre-teens enjoyed the pool area. They wanted to use the arcade area but found many of the games were not in working order. They did have fun with the pool table. We would certainly stay here again.

The room was not clean. A desert cup with a spoon was left by the bed. The carpet had black fuzzy things on it in places. The microwave was dirty. There was hair in the shower. The staff offered to move us to a new room but we had our stuff already unpacked so we declined and they told us they would offer some type of discount for the inconvenience. When we checked out they said the person who offered this was new and they won’t offer any discount after all.

Broken whirlpool for my Valentine

We had a pretty nice time. I was excited to book a whirlpool suite for our valentine's get away. The room was comfortable. The only problem we encountered was a broken whirlpool tub. Also there were a lot of cigarette butts on the ground by the entrance.

The pool was shut down and we were not notified, that was main reason for booking. Room was run down with mold in bathroom and shower curtain was dirty and falling off. Had to ask for curtain to be replaced and for our room to be cleaned and trash taken out. Blow dryer did not work in our bathroom. Our room key did not work at least 6 times, had to go down and get them re keyed so many times, which is very frustrating with multiple kids in tow.

I want a refund for the inconvenience and moving rooms and floors. I reserved a specific room which staff attempted to not honor
Then keys didn’t work
Then staff did not know the location of the specific room
We moved rooms a total of three times
Due to the issues staff advised we could stay a night for free which was definitely helpful

The pool is not working.
The air conditioning did not work in the room
The walls are thin
The whirlpool did not have working jets. Over it.

Then we came back for the staff to say the guy working did not have authority to comp a room and the best they could do was a price MORE THAN online prices.

Both me and the other traveler had to commute to this hotel and contacted the staff the day prior to verify when to come back

Needless to say I’m not impressed.
