Overall I would said the hotel & staff is okay. Doorman was amazing and helpful! As well as breakfast staff. However I value cleanliness a lot. Upon entering the hotel room I noticed it was not in the most clean form. Somebodies eyelash was left on the floor and a random hair on the counter and just not the cleanest. I noticed a few stains on the bedsheets and pillows. When eating breakfast I noticed small insects around the fruit.

Staff was amazing, and never a problem or delay getting my room cleaned. Had cleaned twice in one day even without a problem. Located on Soi 7 which is not very great anymore, but beach and mall is around the corner and very convenient. Breakfast is average, nothing great but it is complimentary so can not complain. Only thing I did not like is they push 2 small beds together for 1 big bed. Other than that, there is nothing bad I can say. There is loud construction all day long behind hotel, but they can not control that, so I can not hold them responsible. It is November 2025 so until construction is finished try to get a room facing Soi 7.

I had a good stay, was there 28 nights. For the most part the hotel is quiet, the room was clean, good A/C, pretty good breakfast and the bed was comfortable. During the water festival the area was loud and busy. I would definitely stay at Black Woods hotel again.

Not a 5 star hotel in any way, is in a good location but let down by non friendliness of most of the staff, room not as sold on booking platforms. Had to carry our own luggage up the steps to reception with no greeting even though staff not busy.
Breakfast was not great as eggs not even cooked fresh as you would expect from a 5 star hotel.

The staff here are amazing. When my friend needed to go to the hospital, one of them gave him a ride on his motorcycle. The rooftop pool is wonderful, especially in the morning. The rooms can be a little quirky, because the sink is in the hallway in the shower is separate from the bathroom. The pillows could be better, but overall a really nice place breakfast is great.

I booked this hotel for one night as I had a business trip to Rayong. The hotel quality is node and rooms are very clean and modern. The issue I had was noise outside. This is my fault, I didn’t realise the party street was immediately in front of the hotel. I barely slept and I could hear every conversation and beat of music on the street. Not the hotels fault, I just wasn’t prepared for the party…

My first time staying here and I loved it, great accommodations with friendly staff who were happy to go above and beyond.

I lucked out and got the room on sale which is typically out of my price point, however, after staying here I think its worth the extra cash.

The breakfast isn't the best if I'm honest its still a solid 7/10 i just found better options outside the hotel.

Ill be back to Blackwoods.

Love Blackwoods best first time experience in Pattaya staff was super friendly, room was super clean. The staff came and called everyday to check on me and see if I wanted my room clean. My only complaint was the bed, instead of one big bed it was two twins on wheels and the way I was moving around it would spilt a lot. The room service was good as well as the breakfast.The only time I heard anything was in the morning/ early evening when the cleaners were cleaning other rooms. All and all great hotels and with good location.

This hotel is not 5 star standard.It would be accurate to say it's 3 stars European standard.
The bed was comfortable but came with only 2 pillows.The setup is weird bathroom toilet and wash basin all in different locations.
Balcony has no furniture to sit and very dirty.
Breakfast was extremely low quality, food left open for long periods and not much choice.
The pool has the same depth as the bathtub was not usable for me.
The good points was the location in the middle of everything great location.
The staff were wonderful but some had limited English.

This property has to be the best I’ve stayed at in Pattaya. The quality of the rooms/amenities, its staff, and the in house breakfast/room service is top notch.

The quality for the value is unheard of. I love that its smacked right near Central Festival Mall, on Soi 7 for some quick drinks, literally a 5 min walk to Beach road and 10 mins to Myth Night, the Bazaar and Tree Town.

I highly recommend waking up early and having the breakfast. And if you are feeling lazy to go out and eat, the room service is excellent.

This is my go to hotel in Pattaya every time.

Just be mindful that you are going to be on Soi 7, there will be some outside noise but it’s not loud enough to keep you awake.

The hotel is clean, modern and only a few blocks from the beach in the midst of the Pattaya nightlife. They provide water, and free snacks as well. The breakfast is nice with a mix of western and Thai foods that are nicely done. This hotel is in the center of all you could ask for if you are a single guys looking to enjoy all the nightlife Pattaya is infamous for. Since I was traveling with my wife, this was a negative but for single men this would be a big plus. The hotel was also well sound insulated which, given the nightlife running wild until late about 4am is important too. The staff speaks good English and is also accommodating. I would rank this similar to a North American Sheraton 4 Points.

Blackwoods is a very nice hotel right in the middle of the action. 5 minutes to the beach and all of the fun and excitement of soi 7 right on your doorstep. It's not the cheapest hotel in Pattaya, but you can't beat the location. Rooms are very spacious, clean, the bed was comfortable. The pool area is good. I was very pleasantly surprised

The staff were really polite and courteous. Made their best effort to accommodate my needs. The location is in a busy area of Pattaya with lots of bars along Soi7, so it is quite noisy up until around 3 am. It is steps from the beach which makes it ideal to laze around during the day. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Promised so much, delivered so little!

Poor customer service, breakfast is ok, but not a huge amount of choice and staff not prepared to do anything remotely different (like poached eggs for example). I had arguments with staff and they were quite happy to shout at me. Facilities aren’t great. Bed a little uncomfortable. Toilets are odd too. If you park your car in the car park, don’t bother trying to use the lift after 9pm, as they cut off access to the car park. I had to carry my heavy case up the stairs. Someone came to help once I was in reception - I’d done the hard bit by then!!

Nice hotel, with great staff. I really enjoyed my stay here, the hotel is very clean and modern. Every single staff member I had interaction with were fabulous. Roof top pool and bar is good. Meals in the hotel are set at a fair price, unlike most hotels. Baht bus on either end of strret offers quick access to Walking Street etc.
