I booked two superior double rooms but only received. I did not want further problems with hafiz the manager so i did not bring it up. I paid local taxes at arrival ans hafiz did not write it off so we were questioned about the payment later. There was no ventilation at all in the rooms. The rooms smelled strongly of bleach and with no ventilation it was concerning. There were windows but they faces directly at our bed so it was either privacy or ventilation. Nothing ever dried. Our towels were always wet. The amenities were soap in travel size plastic bottles that they have been reusing and that was rusting. The room we had waa very claustrophobia inducing the lightint was also very bad. The only good thing about this place is the kindness and warmth of Abdou and Hasna! I would never rebook this place. They also charge 18 euro for dinner for 4 ppl which was only 2 chicken tajine. There was no appetizer although it was mentioned in the conversation. I also had to remind them about dessert wich was apples and bananas in orange juice. Absolutely horrible and scammy! Please do not eat here! Its 1/4th price if u eat out . However we got there late with a baby so had no choice they also charge for tea

Great location but hard to find and good morrocan breakfast. Rooftop was disappointing since you can’t see anything from it with high walls in all sides. Front door required guests to use doorbell for entry which was inconvenient.

We had a great stay here. The location is a 20 second walk down an alley from a busy soukh. The downside is that that means it’s quite a walk to where taxi’s can get. The dar itself is nice, everything was good, and the staff is helpful.

We had an excellent stay at Dar Pamella. The Raid is an Oasis of calm inside the Medina. Almost everywhere is walkable from the accommodation with the main square just a short stroll away. Breakfast was served every morning upstairs on the terrace which was very welcomed.
The staff were so helpful and kind. On the last day I wasn't feeling well and they looked after me and brought me soup, moroccan tea and let me have a later check out.
I would certainly stay here again, Dar Pamella is exceptional value.

We arrived in the hotels taxi to be met with a really friendly lady who carried our bags to the accommodation which was about a 5min walk. To find the accommodation, I recommend using the hotel taxi. Once in the accommodation we were offered tea and cake. We had a fantastic meal in the hotel that evening cooked by Muna ( who also met us at the taxi) . Breakfast was excellent each morning made by a fantastic helpful and pleasant man.
This place was right in the middle of Marrakech only 4 mins walk from the square - it was a real gem. The highlight of our stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of the two people mentioned earlier. In my 35 years of travelling , I have never experienced such friendliness by 2 people during our stay and their helpfulness was amazing. They worked so hard during our visit . I would recommend this small tranquil accommodation in the hustle bustle ( and it really is hustle bustle) of Marrakech. It was such good value for our 3 night stay.

Humble yet Incredibly Hospitable Budget Riad
Dar Pamella is a great place to stay if you are looking to be close to all the tourist attractions near the center of a city in a humble yet comfortable environment. While it certainly wasn't the most luxurious place I stayed, it was very clean, had a lovely rooftop, and incredibly welcoming hospitality. We were able to arrange an airport pickup that went smoothly and was received by Abdo who was incredibly friendly and kind and made us feel safe and welcomed. He offered us tea and a tasty meal even after the kitchen has closed, and on our final day even arrived 2 hours earlier than the usual breakfast time to treat me and my friend to a moroccan breakfast. At times there was a bit of a language barrier but he was always very patient and kind to ensure we had the best stay possible and I truly value that level of hospitality far above any material amenity the property might have, especially in a city like Marrakech. He even gave us his personal number so we could contact him anytime regarding anything about the city hotel or otherwise. There are definitely going to be more lavish riads to stay at in the city, but I think it would be hard to find hosts as welcoming as Dar Pamella, at such a low price, given its close proximity to all Marrakech has to offer. Would recommend. 5/5 stars.

Really charming property and fantastic location which allows you to walk around the Medina Square and surrounding areas without the need to hire a taxi. The highlight of our stay was the wonderful Mouna who did an outstanding job of cooking, cleaning, making us feel very welcome and providing brilliant recommendations of things to see and do around the city.

When we arrived at the hotel we were immediately handed the sales brochures for the spa and hamam. Before we even checked in. But we were so tired that we just wanted to sleep. The person who met us asked us ugly questions. I am Turkish and my husband is Czech. "Are you married? But how come? But you are muslim right?"like those questions. At the last time when we made a check in, that person said something like this. "Family name is same that means you really married". That's a very ugly approach. He asked us everything down to what we do for a living. Moreover, the address of the hotel is wrong on maps.me, mapy.cz, Google maps and Expedia.

I stayed at Dar Pamella 25-27 February. The place is a little tricky to find but I used Google maps, walked down an alley between 2 stalls and then followed the alley to the left and found it. It is right in the middle of everything, the staff are all extremely helpful and can't do enough to help you. It is a little basic but that is what gives it a traditional Moroccan feel. Breakfast was very nice and served on the rooftop terrace. I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent Service from Mona was the highlight of the stay. Mona, Abdul shakoor and Zakria were all very courteous and provided excellent service. Room was decent size. Bathroom was clean.

I had problems on the first day where one of the workers let the previous guests use the bathroom that was in the room I booked. Language barrier was awful. The first host could not speak a word of English and there was a boy who tried to help her. The same boy that literally showed us the door and he was asking for money. He stalked us for a few days for money.
There was no hot water, which was resolved later in the evening. 2 hosts Muna and Abde were very nice. Abde spoke good English. With the rest I tried to use Google translate.

I had a really nice time here. Sharif was really welcoming and his service was excellent. Made me feel like I was right at home. The food was good and the terrace was also lovely. Only set back I would have would be the bed as it was slightly firm but that’s all down to personal preferences.

Staff were very kind and helpful. The place is at the heart of the Medina, conveniently located. I would encourage visitors to ask the Riad to pick you up at the Jemaa el-Fnaa square - we got lost close to the Riad as you need to walk through a couple small alleys to get there.

The property and staff are great. We also ate at Dar Pamella twice. Lovely home cooked Moroccan food very reasonably priced. It’s not the easiest place to find, don’t rely on google maps but once found, it’s centrally located to see all the delights of Marrakesh. Enjoy.

The stay was comfortable however the hospitality of the host Sharful islam was outstanding. He along with his female workers looked after us very well. I was served freshly made breakfast in my room at my convenient time. The Property is located inside the old Madina and would have been difficult to reach on our own. House keeping was diligently done everyday. However,I feel that the room should have bright lights and windows must have grills to make you feel safe.

Finding the place was not easy and trying to comminicate to find it made me upset. Someone from the riad finally agreed to meet up and show us where it was after walking for about an hour. When we got in they apologized and greeted us with water and tea. We we shown to out room but even though it was pretty it was not what i purchased. They contacted the owner to fix it but it was going to take awhile. We decided to explore. They called hours later so we can take our luggage to thw new room. The new room was very pretty. A beautiful old building in the heart of old city which was renovated very well. Staffs all were pretty kind and helpful. Room was clean but very small and not enough comfortable.
There is a beautiful roof top for having breakfast and a large living for gatherings and socializing specially for people who are travelling in large groups.

I and my brother enjoyed our stay at Dar Parmella very much. The staff are so accommodating. They allowed us to have an earlier breakfast (around half an hour earlier).
The room itself is quite quiet and comfortable.
The location of the riad is quite challenging to find at first (Clue : google map does help) but once you find it, it is so easy and super convenient. It is so close to Cafe De France (10 mins walking - maximum) - a popular pick up point if you join a day tour, so you are not required to wake up too early.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans ce riad idéalement situé en plein centre-ville, à deux pas du marché. L’emplacement est parfait pour découvrir la médina à pied. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil, accueillant et toujours prêt à aider. Le service était impeccable et nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Je recommande vivement cet hébergement pour un séjour authentique et chaleureux à Marrakech !

Ondanks dat je op één steenworp afstand zit van de medina, is het er erg rustig. Vriendelijk personeel al is het maken van afspraken lastig. Ze zijn hier niet altijd van de tijd. Dit verschilt wel sterk per personeelslid. Ontbijt is goed, maar staat in de ochtend niet standaard klaar. Wordt per kamer klaargemaakt. Hierdoor kan je soms wel een uur moeten wachten. Omgeving is geweldig, ook buiten Marrakech

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo: posizione eccellente, vicino alla piazza Jemaa el Fna, anche se difficilissimo da trovare (ci sono venuti incontro dall'hotel per recuperarci e indicarci la strada) e inquietante il vicolo stretto, buio, passante sotto un sottopassaggio, senza nessuna indicazione del Dar Pamella. Pleasant stay at Dar Pamella
Our stay at Dar Pamella was pleasant and made even better by Abdul and Mona, Abdul works the night shift and leaves after breakfast is served (delicious by the way), he always smiled and ensured that we were having a nice time, Mona takes care of the cleaning, cooking, and showed a lot of care for our comfort during our stay. The Riad is in good condition (the internet isn’t so good) although it is better in the reception area). If you arrive at night, I strongly recommend hiring the taxi service offered by the Riad, Abdul met us at the taxi drop-off and walked us through the medina as the Riad is hidden away and difficult to find the first time... I also recommend having internet on your mobile to navigate the crazy and colorful streets of the Medina and souk.
