Great pool, spacious room.

I have stayed here before and always had a great time. I had the luxury of having the indoor pool to myself - Awesome!!

Good breakfast but would have liked a warm veg option such as beans or mushrooms.

The room was big and spacious with a comfortable bed.

The only area for improvement was the peeling paint outside on the balcony. Some TLC needed there.

I tried to alter my booking dates through Expedia's website, was informed by their Bot that it'd all been taken care of. Didn't receive the promised confirmation email so called the hotel to check and it hadn't happened at all. Thank you so much to the guy at the hotel for re-arranging everything so perfectly, otherwise we'd have turned up without a reservation. Next time we'll book with the hotel directly. You find out how good an organisation is when you need them to help you out and Expedia failed utterly on this occasion .

Lovely, quiet hotel in beautiful surroundings.

We had a really nice stay - only one night, travelling through, wish we could have stayed longer! One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The large swimming pool was very clean and empty when we there. Nice bar with pool table and very friendly staff. Pleasant 15 minute walk through the forest to get to the centre. Would definitely stay here again.

Overpriced & used up

The hotel is way over priced. Needs massive renovation. Elevator didn’t work. We were placed on the 2 nd floor. No help in getting our luggage up. Bad service.

Very good place to stay. Good value for the money. Rented bikes at the hotel. Very reasonably priced. Great area to go biking. Not the easiest place to find because it's off the beaten path.

Part business, part pleasiure. The hotel staff were efficient and friendly, the rooms very comfortable if a little tired in decor. But a very pleasant stay with excellent food, very welcoming.

De locatie van het hotel was uitstekend en bood een rustige omgeving. Het restaurant en het personeel waren beide gastvrij. De kamer was ruim en schoon. De badkamer was uitgerust met een inloopdouche die een aangename douche-ervaring bood met een goede waterdruk en een ruime voorraad warm water.

We hadden de meest luxe kamer met balkon geboekt.
Het was echter een extreem ‘kale’ kamer.
Mini plankjes naast het bed waar naast bril en telefoon geen boek meer bijpast.
Een losse airco, die niet koelde, een lamp die kapot was, en verder geen enkele aankleding.
Badkamer met douche zonder deur, zodat hele badkamervloer nat wordt bij het douchen.
Een wasbak met ook weer geen enkele ruimte daarnaast om toiletartikelen neer te zetten.
Bij het ontbijt was nagenoeg alles op en moesten we om brood, kaas en fruit vragen. Dat kwam er. Fruit was echter uit blik

Dit is prima locatie met lekker zwembad, schone wc en badkamer, maar het tapijt in de gangen, kamers en ontbijtzaal is verschrikkelijk, vol vlekken en kapot. Wat is hier gebeurd?

De omgeving is prachtig. Het hotel is in 1996 opgeleverd en sindsdien is er zo te zien niets meer aan onderhoud gedaan. Alles uitermate basaal. Zelfs avondeten in hotel gedurende gehele verblijf niet mogelijk

Wij hadden een hond bij ons, en dus logisch niet de beste kamer. De badkamer was niet bepaald een4sterren badkamer. De sfeer was prima. De coronamaatregelen werden m.i. Niet goed nageleefd. Als een tafeltje gebruikt was voor ontbijt oid, werd het niet ontsmet.

Een erg gedateerd hotel. De muren van de kamer zaten vol scheuren, het tapijt met veel vlekken, schimmel in de voegen van de badkamer. De bedden waren goed. In de ontbijtzaal zat de vloer onder de vlekken.

ik verblijf sinds jan. wekelijks in Scheeperskamp, en in de laatste 6 weken is er nieuw personeel die denken dat zij, en niet de klant, bepalen of hij wordt constant gebeld over diners terwijl het staat duidelijk in mijn profiel dat ik dit niet wil. Was er een andere optie qua hotel (loop afstand van mijn werk) dan was ik al lang over gegaan.

Hotel lag op een leuke plaats in de bossen.

Dit hotel is een fijne uitval basis om te fietsen. Daarbij er is een zwembadaanwezig wat heerlijk is om na het fietsen de spieren soepel te maken. Daarmee is ook alles gezegd. Dit hotel is erg gedateerd. Heel veel vlekken op de vloerbedekking is het hotel. Dit geeft geen frissse blik en doet heel smoezeling aan. Op onze kamer zat bijna elke baan van het behang los en zag er niet uit. Er hing geen prettige lucht in de kamer. De laken ware wel fris gewassen maar er zaken nog steeds vlekken in. Het eten was er goed maar de bediening miserabel. Een half uur wachten op de menukaart vind ik niet kunnen. Al met al een hotel dat ik niet aan andere wil aanraden.

Mooie ligging, management op de centen.

Het hotel als geheel is aan renovatie toe. Onze kamer leek al gerenoveerd, mooie badkamer. We hadden een ‘luxe’ kamer met balkon, heel ruim, gezien de vreemde kast-constructie in de kamer kunnen er ook meer dan 2 bedden in.
Raar voor zo’n luxe kamer was dat er blijkbaar alleen een zeepdispenser af kan, niet eens een douchemuts of tissues.
Ergerlijk is dat het management ook verder beknibbelt op centen. Bovenop de gewone prijs vragen ze ‘toeristenbelasting’ die hoger is dan het maximumbedrag volgens de site van gemeente Lochem.
Het gaat allemaal om geringe bedragen, maar het verpest de ervaring.
De lift was kapot, waarschijnlijk al langere tijd.

Het personeel is geweldig.In een mooie omgeving gelegen.
Hotel zelf is slecht onderhouden.Zelfs in het restaurant is de vloerbedekking erg smerig, zo ook op de kamers. Lift is al die tijd(5 nachten) stuk).Blijkt al langer zo te zijn.
Informatie op site is onvolledig. Wifi is openbaar en na boeking 1 minuut later is de prijs 50,00Euro verlaagd.
