I stayed here for four days. It is a pleasant hotel with friendly staff. The hotel is situated in beautiful surroundings in the woods. Walking and cycling trails are plentiful. My room was fine, the bed was comfortable. The food was exceptionally delicious.

The rooms need an upgrade, carpet is dirty and walls need paint. You can hear your neighbors. I reported an incident with unfriendly staff at the breakfast buffet. The manager handled it professionally but it left us with a bad experience, we checked out early and we won't return.

Time to renovated the rooms?

While downstairs areas have clearly been renovated, and the restaurant was very nice, the hotel room is really dated. Sink was clogged and mattress was too soft for my taste.

Upon check in the registrationform was presented with persoal data of my parents!(gdpr!) We proceeded after having corrected the personal data to room 203 where the door was not locked and room was not cleaned yet. I asked for another room as we had to change for a concert. Although they mentioned the hotel was fully occupied we got another room. This room was ok but no towels, we requested these.

LOVELY HOTEL WITH LAX SAFETY POLICYS.

Lovely location in the middle of a woodland park area, lots of lovely walks around the area.

The only major floor was a safety concern, the hotel fire alarm went off ( for an evacuation) we promptly left the hotel to the assembly point, we passed lots of hotel guests who did not know what to do or where to go. No member of hotel staff came over to the evac point at any time. We waited approx 10 mins at the evac point after the sirens stopped and re entered along with the other hotel guests who had left as per the instructions in the room.

There seemed to be only appox 3 members of staff at the hotel 1 in the reception and two in the restaurant.

The evac siren was very quiet and if we had been asleep would not of woken us.

Apart from that large safety concern the hotel was nice ane peaceful overnight stay.

Excellent hotel for business or pleasure

This hotel is located in the countryside in a woods in a very quiet area. You need a vehicle to get around but the hotel is perfect for walking and cycling breaks or those just wanting a relaxing break away from it all. It is also peaceful for those on business. The hotel is excellent in every way my and I highly recommend it.

The room was very comfortable. The hotel has a nice terrace. Location is not convenient if you don't have a car. Quite a way from the nearest town. The downside is the restaurant. The food was lacking any taste or imagination. The cook seems not to have been trained.

Very pleasant

The staff here were exceptional. They went above and beyond to help my stay be more pleasant. They even suggested ways to help me save money while I was there. One night I ordered room service and the chef had already left. So the front clerk went and made it for me. That's quality customer service. I will go back and stay at this hotel again. Highly recommend it.

Ontbijt was top! Heerlijk zwembad, maar de familiekamer was zeker geen goed eerste kennismaking voor onze kinderen met een hotel. Ze sliepen in een stapelbed wat bij elk zuchtje enorm kraakte. Hierdoor erg slecht geslapen. Verder zaten er gaten in de vitrage die toch al erg scheef hing. Diverse meubels waren echt aan vervanging toe en de badkamer was ook goed gebruikt zullen we maar zeggen.

Naar ons idee is dit hotel aan renovatie toe. De ontvangst was min of meer onvriendelijk. Het eten was middelmatig, wij vroegen ons af of de tong-slips iets met tong te maken had?

Hotel mooi in de bossen. Ongetwijfeld ideaal voor de wandelaar of de fietser. Geboekte kamer ruim maar zeker geen 4 sterren. In het raamkozijn groeide mos zo leek het. Badkamer ok maar beetje gedateerd en slordig qua afwerking. Ontbijt buffet ok maar de scrambled eggs kunnen beter. Te droog en soort van ei-korrels. De prijs van 137 euro voor 1 nacht is wat mij betreft te hoog.

Verouderd en kapotte shutters en luxaflex, als je koffie wilt zetten moet je of de tv of de koelkast stekker gebruiken. Zeer slechte staat van comfort kamer en bovendien 2 boswanten van 3cm in de badkamer aangetroffen. Beneden verdieping is wel netjes. Kamers ver beneden de maat tot zeer slecht

Mijn algehele gevoel is dat op alles bezuinigd wordt, bedrijf staat volgens mij al jaren stil. Denk hierbij aan het ontbijt, onderhoud aan kamers/hotel. Ook zou het fijn zijn als het personeel in ieder geval probeert je met een glimlacht te helpen. Maar prima voor een nacht, mooie omgeving.

Mooi hotel, gelegen in een prachtige bosrijke omgeving. Het hotel zelf beschikt over een zwembad, wat ideaal is als je op een rustig moment in het hotel aanwezig bent. Wij hebben 2x zo goed als alleen gezwommen. Heerlijk Daarnaast kan ik me wel voorstellen dat het hotel wat rumoerig kan zijn, als het drukker is. Nu hoorden we ook in de ochtend al ´buren´ douchen. Verder voldeed het hotel goed aan onze verwachtingen.

de service en het eten in het restaurant waren zeer goed personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam waar nodig.
De kamer was wel aan een opknapbeurt toe, vloerbedekking was niet echt schoon meer en de raam sponningen waren vervuild en in slechte staat. het wascduidelijk een oude kamer. bedden waren wel schoon.

Uitstekend hotel en gelegen op een mooie locatie

Uitstekend hotel en gelegen op een mooie locatie aan de Sallandse heuvelrug. Het ontbijt is goed geregeld door op een aangegeven tijd op te komen halen. Dit nuttig je vervolgens op je kamer.
De badkamer is eenvoudig maar voldoet. Er is alleen geen stopcontact en er is geen lekker douchesetje (shampoo, douche gel) aanwezig wat je van deze keten wel verwacht.
Het ventilatie systeem werkte op onze kamer niet goed, wat resulteert in beslagen ramen/spiegels na het douchen.
Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en denkt/helpt mee.
Over het algemeen een zeer fijn hotel gelegen op een mooie natuurrijke omgeving.

A very late arrival but very forthcoming and helpful staff. Spacious rooms with beautiful greenery outside on a large terrasse for the individual rooms. Very health orientated respecting all Corona guidance - separate breakfast wishes - not a buffet anylonger.

Hotel is gedateerd. Hotelkamers hebben geen enkele warmte. Komt streng en erg sober en niet gezellig over. Badkamer gedateerd met niet prettig douchegordijn in bad en systeemplafond.

Het hotel ligt in een prachtige omgeving. Het straalt rust en ruimte uit. heel prettig. Aan de voorzijde is een ruim terras. Het restaurant met de oorspronkelijke naam Rijnsense Berg is prima. Wij hebben in ieder geval heerlijk gegeten.

Vriendelijk personeel en goed eten.
Alleen onze douche veranderde steeds van temperatuur. Werd heel warm of kouder ineens.
Ons minpunt is dat er s’avonds laat geen taxi te krijgen was. Dit was erg vervelend toen we van de bruiloft naar het hotel wilden gaan....
