Ik vond het hotel erg prettig gelegen, zowel voor wandelingen in het buitengebied als om even snel de stad in te lopen. Het hotel is bijna een resort te noemen, met alle faciliteiten. De kamer was buitengewoon prettig en groot. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk. Ik had nog best wat langer willen blijven. Het enige minpuntje is dat het er niet heel stil is.

Excellent hotel for a weekend trip

Located in the Almelo city center. Stayed 2 nights in the weekend with family. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Good spread of warm and cold dishes. Free parking in the hotel garage.

Great location, right in the middle of the city, very friendly staff and overall it’s a nice property, would stay here again. The room is comfortable, just a little dark with poor lightning, but with everything necessary for your stay. The property is located in the city center and you can walk to shops, restaurants or bars just in 5-10 minutes.

Our staying at Theaterhotel Almelo was very good. Our friends have a problem with the room, they didn't have door to the bathroom, but the receptionist was very kind and change the room. That was a plus.

I had a great stay at the hotel! The staff were polite and helpful, and the restaurant was lovely. Although the building is older and the sound insulation isn't the best, it didn't detract from my overall experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Overall is value for money, but my standard room don't have air-con and it was summer when I was there, so, too warm for me. But other type of rooms have air con I think. Also, after room service, they didn't top up the coffee & bottle water, but anyhow its still OK for me.

A great hotel with everything you need, right in the heart of Almelo. Lots of room to relax in the lobby/lounge, a bar and restaurant. I highly recommend you include the breakfast in your stay, it was excellent. It is right on the edge of the town and there is an excellent place to walk in the trees right next door on one side, and the town's business are on a brick street on the other side.

Comfortable but noise from other rooms

The best place I have stayed in Almelo, overall. The only problem was the noise from the room above. With the hard floors, my room resonated every time the guy upstairs moved his chair. Please put some soft feet on the furniture legs!

The hotel is centrally located close to a shopping area, a park and several excellent restaurants with almost everything in walking distance. The staff is very friendly. The hotel has a theater, a bar, a bistro and restaurant and a parking garage. The rooms are spacious with a balcony, excellent beds & bathroom with shower, safety deposit box, flat screen and refigerator, free wifi, and clean. Dogs are allowed. If you want to spend a few days in Almelo and like to walk around the center, this is the place to be.

Probably the best hotel in Almelo. Built using the old civic theater, the rooms are well appointed and the building is very elegant. Some of the rooms were still under construction at the time of my stay 4/11/17. Excellent restaurant on site. Recommend highly!

Theater Hotel Almelo

Lovely Hotel, very well kept and situated atop an old theater. would recommend this hotel to anyone, if you like a early night make sure you ask for a room well away from the entertainment section as the music can be heard until 10pm at least.

Alles prima in orde maar tijdens ons verblijf

I had to go from my room to the reception desk 4 times, because my key did not open the room, when I finally entered the room, it was a room for 2 people instead of 3 people. We had to wait 1 hour to have a 3rd camping bed, The pool without enough towels , we had to use the room's towels, then asking for clean towels when we went back to our rooms, It took 1 hour to bring those to our room, meanwhile our children got cold.
Receptionists did their possible to make us comfortable, but it is certainly not what we can expect from a 4-Star hotel...

Mooi hotel wat een beetje onrustig aan doet bij binnenkomst. De kamers zijn mooi en groot met een bed dat prettig ligt. De naastgelegen kamers hoor je niet, maar geluiden vanaf de gang zijn wel goed hoorbaar. Voor het parkeren van de auto moet 6 euro betaald worden, dat vind ik echt een minpunt.
Het ontbijt is genereus met mogelijkheid om je eigerecht naar wens te laten bereiden. Ik zou bij een nieuw bezoek aan Almelo hier zeker opnieuw boeken.

Wir hatten die Suite mit Balkon und Whirlpool. Unser Fenster/Schiebetür ging von Beginn an nicht und trotz mehrfachen Anfragen zur Reparatur hat sich das nicht geändert. Dann hatten wir morgens einen Feueralarm auf dem Zimmer, wozu uns auch keiner was sagen konnte. Um 22 Uhr hatten wir plötzlich keinen Strom mehr. Erst hieß es, wir müssten auf dem Zimmer bleiben, weil es keine anderen Zimmer gebe und der Elektriker, der eigentlich zu uns kommen sollte, nicht gekommen ist. Dann wurden wir erneut angerufen und es war plötzlich doch ein Zimmer frei und wir konnten um Mitternacht in ein anderes Zimmer umziehen. Auf dem Flur standen bereits an dem Abend schon Teller u.ä. die bis zum nächsten Mittag dort immernoch standen. Als wir dann fragen wollten, wann wir wieder in unser altes Zimmer können, hieß es wir könnten jetzt wieder rein. Haben unsere Sachen geholt und wollten die 2. Zimmerkarte abgeben und die Frau an der Rezeption wusste von gar nichts. Sehr schade, dass untereinander nicht kommuniziert wurde und wir alles ständig wieder erklären mussten. Personal generell freundlich, Frühstück auch in Ordnung aber wir haben uns einfach zu sehr geärgert, um uns entspannen zu können. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

Das Hotel befindet sich in Fußgängerzone. Für Parkplatz haben wir nichts bezahlt, weil wir bei P4 geparkt haben. Wir sind um 10:00 Uhr angekommen, die Zimmer war noch nicht fertig, aber wir durften Sauna und Schwimmbad nutzen. Das war für uns eine beste Lösung, weil es regnerisch war. Das Hotel ist sauber und modern. Beim frühstücken hat uns nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

De moderne kamers zijn pas gerenoveerd en zijn zien er goed uit. Er is alleen niet helemaal goed nagedacht over de lichtpunten bij de plek waar je je kleding opbergt en je koffers neerzet en over de ophang haakjes in de badkamer (erg onhandig).
De bedden slapen goed.
Ik zou alleen nog een opmerking willen maken over de handdoeken, die zijn dun en verre van lux. En de schuifdeur naar het balkon omt erg makkelijk uit zijn rail en hangt dan los.
En een pluim voor de keuken, je moet wel de tijd nemen als je in het restaurant gaat eten, maar het eten is erg goed.

Een bandje met m.i. qua geluid veel te hard voor zo'n kleine lounge ruimte. Wegdreunen door bastonen tot half 12 gaat mij te ver.
Erg onrustige nacht met luide groep mensen; brandalarm dat 2x afging.
