We spent a few days in Istanbul – it was super fun and cozy. The hotel there was amazing, and so was the staff.
Afterwards, we decided to spend a few more days in Antalya. While searching for a hotel, we came across Elips Royal Hotel in Antalya via UK.Hotel.com. Since we had to drive over 10 hours from Istanbul to Antalya, we specifically looked for a hotel that allowed late check-in at the end of the day.
According to UK.Hotel.com, it was possible to check in at Elips Royal Hotel between 00:00 and 01:00. We left Istanbul at 11:00 in the morning and arrived just after midnight.

At the reception, however, the receptionist immediately told us it was impossible to check in at that time. He said the hotel's policy was to check in and out between 12:00 and 13:00 during the day.

He said we could check in for that night only if we paid extra, and after 12:00 we would get the room we had already paid for. The receptionist was extremely aggressive and shouted at us.

We tried contacting UK.Hotel.com at that moment, but were only met with a chatbot repeating the same message:
\"We’re sorry to hear you’re unable to check in.\"

That night, we ended up sleeping on the couch in the hotel lobby.

The receptionist also mentioned something about \"Maxi Rooms\", saying that the hotel’s rooms are offered on different websites through that company, and that the mistake came from Maxi Rooms. When we asked for a phone number to contact them, he refused to provide it.
We were unable to find any info

Being a four star this was far worse than a 3 star. The breakfast was repeated daily with same products each and everyday. Room air conditioner would work and turn off itself through the day and night. If you report or ask questions about something being wrong the staff became aggressive throughout your stay and dirty looks given by staff member.
Beauty was a waste of money hamam was a joke, jacuzzi not working, rails broken in swimming and a lot misguidence. The nearest decent food is 20 mins walking distance and staff barely understand much.
Town centre/bazaar is 30 mins walking distance

From the point of check-in, it was very clear that the staff were very uptight and unwelcoming. Nobody helped us with our luggage into our room, despite them helping other people. Moreover, the Wi-Fi did not working at all during our 6 day stay. What rubbish service is this? I have never been to a hotel whose Wi-Fi didn’t work! When I went to reception to ask about this, the extremely rude lady with the scary looking makeup kept serving others and ignoring me, when she finally had the time to serve me she was so so rude! I honestly can’t believe how rude, uptight and unprofessional she was. Did not care at all, didn’t even say hi and just said “Wi-Fi problem”, not even an apology or a timeframe to when it will be fixed. I can see that reception rudeness is a common complaint amongst other reviewers too. Staff didn’t even say bye when we checked out. Perhaps this hotel needs to teach their uncivilised staff how to have basic manners. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all

Let Elips hotel your address in Antalya

Well our stay was good, quiet hotel and room, the hotel location is good , the rooms size is big as stated in the website, the breake fast was great multi choices and deleciouse, all the staff are friendly and cooperated, the reciption manager Mrs. Asuman she was great and work hardly to serving the guests.
The prices are good and worth it
The hotel need to increase the workers numbers , and to increas lights in the lobby area to be more bright and cheerful to the soul.

This was may 2nd stay in this hotel. I can say that it was similar to the old stay 2 years earlier. This time I booked a room for 4 persons. But on check in they informed me that they only have rooms for 3. So they added another bed mattress on the earth.
the breakfast wasn't that great but it is fine.
The location is not within any touristic activities.
the staff is nice & friendly but their poor English speaking made things harder.
Hotels are so expensive in Antalya, so, for such a price it seems ok to select this hotel.

Hotel was poor condition, advertised a bar, which was a fridge behind a table, No alcohol, but could go get you own from shop and take back, however no corkscrew, no glasses & no ice (we also had to buy from local shop)- this hotel not set up for evening drinks. Car Park was closed, so parking was on nearest road. A good 30mins walk to the old town, breakfast was ok, and plenty of selection. Best thing about the hotel was the coffee. Luckily we were only there for one night, else i think we would have regretted booking the hotel.

The worst hotel ive been in. The staff are rude. No manners whats so ever. I asked if i could book an extra day they said the hotel was full i went online and there was rooms available. When i first checked in they told me to leave the bags and to come back at 2 whilst they clean the rooms and they’ll take the bags upstairs.. i came back at 5pm and the bags was still at the entrance. Overall my experience at elips hotel was shocking and i do not recommend it to anyone

I paid for four beds as we were four people but upon arrival they told us that they cannot give us four beds and we will have to stay in three, my booking through hotel.com clearly mentioned that we are 4 people but they kept saying that they do not do 4 beds,
the manager was not on site the staff tried to contact him but no show, no response

The Sauna and swimming pool was shut due to covid-19 which is Understandable but they should clearly mention that on their website or any other sites that they have their ads up on.

Booked a stay here for my last night in Antalya because it was only a 20 minute drive to the airport. They had a hammam that I wished I could have used and afternoon tea. Breakfast was pretty good and the rooms were very very spacious. Really big bed and a large bathroom with full floor to ceiling windows. Choose a higher floor for a view. There was free parking and we had a great stay.

Booked for 19 nights online at $42/night because it was inexpensive, close to family, and looked clean. Our flight to Antalya changed and we were to arrive a day late. I contacted the hotel a week before arriving via email and they responded with assurance we wouldn't lose the reservation if we payed for the first night we missed. They also specified we could pay when we arrived. When we arrived about 2200, the guy behind the desk couldn't find our reservation and charged us $60 to stay the night and we could talk with a manager the next day.

In the morning the manager (a female we didnt catch the name of) was rude and seemed annoyed we were talking to her. My wife is Turkish so she ignored me completely as if I wasnt there. She explained the reservation was cancelled because we didn't pay the first night in advance. I showed her the printed conversation and she discarded it without reading saying if we wanted to stay there, we'd need to pay the higher price. On principle, we decided to leave and go to a real 5 star hotel costing over twice (our choice) and much closer to most tourist attractions.

There is a sign posted by the reception desk showing their exchange rates. As of that morning the USD to TRY rate was 5.78. Thay had it listed at 5.00 and the attendant stated they don't have a commission on the exchange. Just another way for them to dishonestly take your money.

The lobby was very warm (much warmer than outside) and the receptionists said it was because the owner

Very near to the city center and mall. Clean, modern and big room. Good AC.

No kettle in the room to make tea or coffee but you must ring to reception and they will get you what u want. Hot drinks are free of charge though.

They have no iron which is unusual for a 4-star hotell so we went out and bought one.

Very good breakfast and long open time till 10:30 but at 10:30 they turned off the light and start taking out all the food even if people are still sitting there which we thought was a lack of manners and respect.

They keep nocking the door everyday 2 times to check the fridge and for cleaning even if we put on the sign \"don't disturb\". A little bit annoying.

Some of the staff need to learn english

A nice welcome at Reception, the offer of coffee and an apology for a slight delay in allocating the room due to computer problem. A small room, but, more than adequate for the single traveller. The staff were more than pleasant, giving advice re bus service etc. On checkout I was asked if I would use the hotel again, even though it is a little way from the Old City, I would consider another stay there.

The contractor who made the interior finish of the hotel is the cheapest contractor in the world, he maintain the look of the drawing but did not match with quality decoration, wood, tiles etc.

For sure will not visit again.

Wonderful Amazing Hotel

As soon as i arrived at the hotel it was a wonderful experience. Great customer service from all staff such as receptionists, assistants, cleaners, waiters/waitresses. Hotel is extremely affordable. All staff so wonderful and treated us with respect and humanely. I definitely noticed the difference between Alanya and Antalya. We stayed in antalya on holidays. I happened to book this hotel as it was very reasonable in price. The location is not close to beach however I hired a car which made accessing beaches easier. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. A very famous restaurant mevlana is just 300 meters walk away. Close to local markets and harbour and the old town.

It was good hotle with nice building and great location (walking distance) to the old town centre. The room was clean, the bed was very comftable but there was no tea or coffee making facilities. I had to go all the way to the ground floor to get tea or i had to order from the reception. The breakfast was ok but the choice was not great. The swimming pool was not available(was under repair). Over all I liked the hotle and would recommend to others.

Odaları çok dardı,sürekli müşterilere aynı kahvaltı çeşitleri veriyorlar hatta 1 gün önceden kalan yiyecekleri ertesi gün tekrar verdiler ve yiyecekler bozulmaya yüz tutmuştu,hamamdan faydalanmak istiyorsun ama söyledikleri saatler tutmuyor mesela hamam kapanış saati 22:00 ama 21:00'da kapatıyorlar hiç kimseye tavsiye etmem gelmeyin

Foi somente uma noite, mas agradável. Quarto limpo( apesar do cheiro a cigarro), camas confortáveis, a piscina era gostosa, apesar de coberta.
De modo geral, salvou por uma parte nossas férias na Turquia, que se mostrou uma desilusão.

Güzel bi oteldi ailemle 2 gece kaldım gayet güler yüzlü çalışanları vardı lakin annemle yukarı çıkmak için merdiven sorduğum beyfendi sert bi tavır takındı ve asansör orda dedi garipti

Otelde baza yoktu. Yatak üstüne yatak koymuşlar. Şaka değil bu şekildeydi. Maalesef yeterince temiz değildi. Ama banyo temizdi. Ayrıca full gürültü duyuluyordu dışarıdaki yoldan
