We had a fantastic stay at Havana Cabana Key West! The pool area is truly the highlight—beautiful, spacious, and such a fun atmosphere with plenty of seating to relax and unwind. The food and drinks were excellent, with great poolside service that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the day without needing to leave.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a fun, vibrant style that fits the Key West vibe perfectly. Staff throughout the property were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful.

One of the best perks is the shuttle service to and from Duval Street. It makes getting into town super easy without worrying about parking. The only suggestion would be to have a few more shuttle runs during busier times, and possibly extend the final pickup time past 11:00 PM for those enjoying a later night out.

Overall, a great experience and a perfect mix of relaxation and convenience. Would definitely stay again!

It’s a pretty hotel however they are trying to be an all inclusive resort and for you to eat and drink only there at their bar and pay too much for the food and drinks! You don’t have anywhere to sit and eat your own food you bring into the hotel except your room! Staff at the front were friendly however bar tenders and pool attendant's were not friendly at all! The shuttle people are nice but Mario is the best and very friendly! We enjoyed the pool very much however like I said unless you are an all inclusive resort you should allow your patrons to eat and drink what they buy outside of the hotel!

Amazing 3-night stay at HC! We were in town for a wedding & extended at this beautiful property. Loved everything about it: waterfront location/walkway, sweet/knowledgeable staff, unique pool, food/drinks, happy hours, daily freebies (towels, smoothies, churros, sunblock/aloe, waters, shuttle to town), patio/pool games, Cuban décor, little gift shop, & beyond. The room had everything we needed & an amazing view of the pool day & night. We saw the staff constantly cleaning common areas & everything was pristine. Loved all the birds & hotel’s mascots (lizards & geckos-haha!). We would have been content to never leave the resort, but we enjoyed our time on Duval St. & the Harborfront as well. Definitely ck out the Hemingway & Truman houses for some culture & Zachary Taylor fort/beach, which was picturesque. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Keys for whatever reason. I hope to be back with my other adult children soon! 🌞

But if you need something you need to ask. When you get tour room they text you, and then You can text the property anything you need or question. Very accommodating. Everyone is in a great mood, even guests are friendly. Food and drinks are good.

Bathroom wall had visible stain looks like mold, sheet had a stain and we requested new sheets they took over 4 hours and dropped them off for my wife to remake the bed, hotel charged $400 in fees once we arrived that we was unaware of the hotel didn’t provide a ride to the airport for departure, so we had to call a taxi , we was also disappointed in the shuttle service because they would be late or unable to pickup , the best thing about this hotel is the pool area and the historic lobby, plus they only drop at one location if you use shuttle buses .

We stayed 3 nights for my 40th Birthday. The rooms were clean and the shuttle service was incredible. The pool was fantastic! Make sure you do not bring any outside food or drinks into the pool area. It is not allow.The bar tender at the Flama cabana was not just totally unprofessional but down right rude to us. Other than that everything was great but we will stay closer to Duval our next visit!

The layout of the property makes pool access easy but the bar stays loud late into the night and is directly adjacent to rooms, not ideal for families. Limited food options on property. I will definitely be staying again at Havana Cabana at Key West! I highly recommend checking out the Griselda room it’s spacious and perfect for 5–6 people.
The staff was incredibly kind from beginning to end. I truly felt like I was on a vacation away from home. On our last day, my siblings and I spent time enjoying the amenities and lounging by the pool, which was such a great experience. I loved that throughout the day they offered complimentary smoothies, Jello shots, and churros it really added to the amazing experience. I also appreciated how they would text me updates about what was happening at the hotel and any accommodations I might need. The only small issue I had was that I did request a few things through the text messaging system and didn’t receive a response. However, in person, the staff was 100/10 so kind, helpful, and easy to talk to. I came here for my birthday, and they truly made me feel special. We left feeling so relaxed. The transportation options were also amazing we rented scooters for $50 a day, there were bikes available for $14, and there was a free shuttle that runs every 30 minutes to Duval Street. The last shuttle comes back at 10:30 PM, which made it perfect for going out, bar hopping, and not worrying about driving. Our shuttle driver was also very kind and shared great stories on the ride.

The hotel itself was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious.

I will definitely be coming back!

Our room was clean but the headboard on our bed was not attached to the wall or bed frame and it fell on our heads after the bed shifted away from the wall. I feel like that’s a safety concern they should address.

Hot tub was perfect. Pool was warm enough but still refreshing. Drinks were pricey but the same as everywhere else on the island. I suggest bringing earplugs because the local chicken / rooster population is awake at 5 am. Also I wish we would have known about the $55 a day plus taxes resort fee in advance. Hotel shuttle was available every 30 minutes two drop you off down by the docks at the end of Duval. Local Ubers were consistently available within five minutes and very reasonably priced. No personal car is necessary.

One of our two rooms had multiple issues most of which were solved quickly. Safe and tv remote batteries were doa. Toilet needed some work. All the work was done quickly but should have been checked prior to checkin. The place is very convenient and loved the shuttle service and proximity to stores and such. The pool area was great. The included breakfast was good but coordination between front desk and the restaurant needs some attention regarding how included breakfast is taken care (re cards per day as opposed to cards per stay)

We had an absolutely wonderful one-night stay at Havana Cabana Resort in Key West! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, and Nick made it even better by offering us a complimentary breakfast, which was a lovely surprise.

Our room was beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable—perfect for a relaxing stay. We were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink that truly set the tone for a tropical getaway.

One of the highlights was the pool area—it’s stunning, with a great hot tub and plenty of space to unwind. We especially enjoyed having our complimentary breakfast poolside, which made for such a peaceful and enjoyable start to the day.

A special thank you to Dina, the concierge, who helped us plan our day and recommended a visit to the Key West Butterfly Sanctuary—it turned out to be an unforgettable experience! Also, the resort’s free shuttle service to downtown was incredibly convenient, and Jackie, the shuttle driver, was so friendly and helpful.

Overall, this resort offers exceptional service, beautiful accommodations, and thoughtful touches that make your stay truly special. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Key West!

We had a great stay! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The pool area was one of our favorite parts—relaxing, well-maintained, and perfect to unwind. The property also felt very welcoming and had a nice atmosphere overall.

The only downside was that sometimes people were speaking loudly in the hallways, which could be a bit disruptive when trying to rest. Other than that, everything was excellent and we would definitely stay here again!

The food was amazing. The rooms need more work from owners of property. Hooks for towels to dry, mattress without a hole in the middle, a remote in the room and enough towels for family of 4. A manager on property to keep things in order is helpful with food orders, drunk person throwing a football around was not advised to be careful and just overall check ins with people.

Had power strip for coffee maker and light. Everyday it blew when tried to make coffee. Needs updated electrical work. Staff super nice. Hot tub not great- not very hot, jets not strong. Last day we went down in an and found it littered with alcohol bottles, cans and glasses. It was 0900 already but the staff had not even been by to clean it up! They showed up around 920 and picked it up. Should have been done way before customers want to use it. Free parking which was great.
