The room was clean and comfortable. Room services were amazing from laudry to taking our luggage up to room and down to reception. We were part of a wedding party so had 5 rooms and we all thr best experience which as you can imagine can be a problem but lords was amazing. We stayed for 2 nights and moved to a villa somewhere else and came back as the villa was terrible Thanks to all the staff

Room was clean and staff, was helpful though room service took hour and half to deliver. As I refused to take the delivery they still charged me for which I did not have time to argue as I wanted to catch the train.

Had stayed here for 8 nights and during check out which is at 1130am per the rules on expedia had delayed because of our sermon..they knew we would not be able to check out at that time...they usually except a late check out of 2pm but I got delayed to 4pm.

So coming down Ashok had charged me for a 1/2 day I tried to talk to him that listen, I have been here for 8 nights, I was not even in the room only the luggage was there please consider..we spoke back and forth..then i told him you know I checked in late at night and we had incident..so he said you are black mailing me, I said no am not, am trying to tell you there should be a bit of give and take..have been here for 8 nights..and also my parents at Hilton have not been charged the extra ½ day. He didn’t agree..a lot of back and forth..he reduced the amount from 3000inr to 2000inr..and said am not willing to wave off even at the cost of the hotels reputation..

During check in I was given a room that was full of mould and damp walls that had a strench.
The reception guys came and took pictures of the room and moved me to a new room. The new room was also a mess..the bedsheet had hair on it and the place was full of dust, you ran your fingers on the table and dust would accumulate on your fingers… this was past midnight..and a team came to take care of the issues. The AC was also not working and had to get the maintenance guys..

The property is seriously run down, from beds to table to walls panel to towels and bedsheet

Convenient location opposite the Railway station. Well appointed but small rooms. Bathrooms could use more maintenance from appearance perspective. Very responsive staff and decent breakfast. WiFi not the best coverage in all rooms.

I had a pleasant stay.I was at the hotel for 10 days. The club room was very nice. The staff were always ready to assist and very helpful
The only feedback I have is that they can improve more on maintaining a higher standard of cleanliness.
I highly recommend the food at the ground floor restaurant. Excellent food

The hotel is tidy and clean but the confusing part is that the brochure in the hotel says that the check out time is 12 noon while the reception rang us saying that the check out time is 10am. This causes inconvenience to guests

Lords is a nice place to stay as its location is convenient. We stayed for 2 weeks. They have an average breakfast, but they try to give you good service. Even called to ask if I was comfortable during my stay. They can improve their bathrooms and condition of their rooms for sure, but they try to accommodate.They also need to work on cleanliness.The food at the main restaurant is amazing, a must try!

Very disappointed with the state of the rooms and the bathrooms. It is run down and terribly maintained. The rooms felt dirty and tye bathrooms disgusting. They really need to refurbish and maintain the property

Rooms were clean. Staff was unfriendly. Customers bring business. Having a smile on your face with friendly approach is the key to repeat customers. Hotels are travelers second homes and they come to relax in friendly if not homely atmospheres. Surat as city is bad but some cleanup in required near property.

Really disappointed in the hotel. When paying their stupid machine does dynamic currency transaction. This simply means you more when using a foreign card. I pointed out them and spoke to the manager they showed complete ignorance.

Family visit in Surat

Slow service on arrival by Concierge/lobby staff who would not collect baggage from vehicle until checkin was fully completed.
Wi-Fi was not working and even after complaining nothing was done while we stayed there for 2nights.
Breakfast was good with fresh food and live counter, though had to wait for a table to sit given the number of guests eating.
Shower in 1 room seemed blocked.

Ask for rear end rooms if you cannot bear the noise from the road that is pretty busy.

Very helpful and attentive staff. Quick check-in. (Though I had to change rooms due to smoking smell in first room) Delicious food in rooftop restaurant. I had early train to catch, so they packed a breakfast for me and took me to railway station free of charge. I always stay here when in Surat.

Rooms not as good as they can be, but food is good

This would have been a good hotel 20 years ago!, it needs a lot of updating, as there are many new Hotels in the area. The windows never cleaned, the water in bath tubs floods when showering, the rooms are always missing items even after reminding the house keepers. The risk for the hotel is that they loss overseas customers, due to current level of customer expectations.
The hotel does offer a good range of food and is close to the Train station to Mumbai.

Very courteous staff, and supportive. near most market places (surat is not a very big city anyways), good connectivity, visit the roof top restaurant for fun. We ate only a little in the hotel, but the food was good. Rooms were clean and decent hygiene standards.

Just OK type. Airconditioning was stinking in common area. When asked to deliver toilet soap, need to remind two times. Finally when person came to give soap, he was reluctant to give two soaps.

Frustrating experience. Not giving free wifi. For international travellers wifi could be really big help but they charge lot of money for wifi. I Will not stay again. Despite room cleaning service bathroom was not cleaned appropriately.

Location wise its ideal but overall hotel experience was not so great. Air conditioner in the rooms weren't working properly. Though they changed the towels everyday in the rooms it looked like used towels. There is no free WIFI in the hotel and we have to pay for WIFI. After that also WIFI network wasn't great at all.

An upcoming hotel in Surat

Is a good hotel with great price. However though had booked for twin bedrooms they only could offer with single bed and had to add a rollaway bed for second guest. This was unexpected. With some glitches aside the hotel is good and has a good value for price.

A five minute taxi/auto drive to the rail station.

Our experience was positive, and the complimentary breakfast was great. The morning of our checkout the taxi that we booked, did not show-up after waiting approx. 20 minutes the hotel's van took us to the rail station, so we would not miss our scheduled train to Mumbai. Upon arrival at the rail station the driver found a porter for us to handle our four heavy luggage. This took the pressure off for us, trying to find the correct platform, carrying the luggage, and the porters placed it on the assigned seats as well. That's why I feel the little extras made this an overall positive experience. The hotel itself was reasonable for 2 nights expect to pay $100 USD for 2 nights. The rooms were clean, complimentary bottled water, and a coffee pot with tea bags, coffee, and creamer in the room.

Air Conditiong is switched off in night .

The manament closes the centrally AC plant at night and from the blower it is only fan air . We could not sleep . Complained again and again but no result . Water drainage is also blocked in the room toilets , if you are taking shower , there is enough water logged for small creatures to swim . Service is also poor . We needed 2 glasses in the room for which we had to call them 5 times . After 5 call we got small juice glasses , I called them to change it with big or regular glasses . They were not able to do it .
Staff is also untrained , please inform hotel that because you are centrally located , you will always get business is wrong . Please do something ....,

The Hotel its self was ok. The bathroom needs upgrading, for example the toilet roll holder was falling off, shower cubicle was mouldy looking. it may be just that room and i was just unlucky. Any way for the money i would have expected more. Laundry service is A1 (excellent), Breakfast is limited, not much variety for the meat eater.
