The room was really nice and included a kitchen with a full size fridge, sink, microwave and mini stove top. The bathroom was very big and the shower had great water pressure. The beds and pillows were really comfy. The staff was friendly. Room was clean. There's an aldi directly across the street from the hotel, so it was perfect for getting some food and drinks to keep in the room. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. Nice park with a river and hiking trails about 10 minutes away.

The lobby smelled horribly. Imagine cat urine and peppermint is the only way to describe the smell. Unfortunately my room was on the first floor and it smelled like the lobby.

The WiFi was extremely unstable. The connection would last 5 minutes and then drop. I would re-log in and stay connected for 5 minutes. This went on last night and very early this morning.

The man at the front desk was super friendly but I would never stay there again.

The rooms we were assigned had one that did not have a working and locking door the the room they moved us too had a malfunction with the refrigerator which caused a loud buzzing noise and we were told they could not do anything about until the next mourning so we did not sleep all night until 11:30 the next day.i had asked to get a refund for the one day out of 7 for the one room and overheard the manager on the phone saying no way. Just an awful awful experience having to chang rooms 2 times

Issue with bugs spoke to agent at desk about issue was told\" do you want to cancel your reservation?'

Asked for toilet paper because there was none in room was given only one was told they only give one at a time.

Later in evening asked for extra blanket
Manager gave me a look and asked do you not have one in your room then had her child hand me a blanket.

The hotel smelled moldy and of weed

I spent 250 for two nights and it wasnt worth half of that price

We found a cockroach on the sink, there is dirty/moldy dishes in the cabinets, the shampoo and conditioner holder was broken and rusted, the elevator smells like wet dog and looks like it hasn't been cleabed in weeks. Outside the main door smells like cat pee. I've never had this many problems until now.

Upon arriving at the hotel the receptionist was asleep at the desk and had to be woken up. When going to our room the key card did not work. My husband went back to the desk and they apologized saying that they told us the wrong room number so we were trying to get into the wrong room. It gets worse. This was the only hotel that I have EVER stayed at that did not provide daily room service. I would not have even minded if it didn’t need anything, but We stayed for 6 nights and the staff did not enter our room even ONCE to make beds, change linens, provide clean towels, remove trash, etc. nothing. We had to take our used wet towels to the front to ask for clean towels. We had only one roll of toilet paper in the room for four people over 5 days/6 nights and we had to ask for more toilet paper. Little trash cans were full and when my husband emptied the trash cans himself and took to the front where the staff pointed him to where the dumpsters were. The rooms definitely needed updating. It was just gross. The gym looked decent, though we never ended up using it. Would definitely not recommend this hotel. It was quite a disappointment.

Unfortunately when we arrived the rooms were not clean, we arrived at 930p, check in at 3p. The hotel was humid and had an unpleasant odor. The room was not cleaned thoroughly and the towels were stained. The fridge had food from previous guest and freezer was overflowing with ice. The staff was friendly and apologetic. But I would not stay here again.

This is the Hotel from Hell. The service is terrible. Only one clerk to handle everything. My first room had a front door that would not close and lock. They switched me to another room on a different floor. The key did not work on that room. After 15 minutes they brought me a key that worked. The TV would not turn on and it took over 2 hours to get that resolved. Then they overcharged me $300. The manager could not be contacted for a week to try and get this resolved. It is still not resolved. Don't stay here. The rooms are broken and there is mold in the shower. The kitchen has junk for glassware and flatware. There is trash in the hallway in the morning and stays there for hours. There are better places, for less money within a block. I stayed there before and it was great. Not anymore. The staff is worthless.

The hotel location was convenient and easy to find. We had no problem with check-in, the staff was helpful, and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Traveling for business and had a deadline to submit but their wi-fi was down. I spoke to two different front desk men throughout the course of 8 hours, trying to get it situated and had no luck. They were both nice, but not at all sure of how to fix it and didn't really seem as if they were looking in to the issue. The recliner in my suite was broken but they brought a new one in, so that was ok. It wasn't the cleanest, the doors all had dirty handprints all over them and no dishes in the kitchenette were clean, but I just used the microwave. I paid $5 for a freezer burnt popsicle in the little \"convenience store\", but I guess that's the \"convenience\" price. I know the front desk workers can't control all the issues, but they were extremely friendly and that goes a long way, I'm definitely torn in my opinion based on their friendliness, but I definitely would have liked to received some sort of compensation for all the issues. I'll definitely try another hotel in this area before returning here, though.

This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in! The exhaust fan in the bathroom was almost closed from all the dust. The sheets had a combination of blood, fingernail polish, brown and black stains. Fingerprint and smears were on almost everything. But hey, the fridge was clean. And the cleark was sleeping with her head on the counter when I went down to check out. I took picture of her and many other of these things I listed. Pay the extra and stay somewhere else!

We stayed at this property after and during a snow event. While the parking lot was relatively clear, the sideways and curb access was not as clear of snow as it could be. Our room had a full kitchen/kitchenette which included a full size refrigerator which was very nice but there was only a small top shelf in it - no other shelves were there. The small cooktop met our needs just fine but the room was billed as accommodating 4 people and there was not enough silverware, plates, cups, etc to accommodate 4 people. There were some pots and pans but they were not properly cleaned and had a some bad scorch marks on them that couldn't be removed. There was a long desk/credenza that provided a place to eat but there were not enough chairs for 4 people to sit and eat. The room itself and the property overall was neat and clean. The staff who worked at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. We also traveled with our two small dogs - which was a major factor in selecting this hotel - and it was wonderful to be able to have our dogs with us and the staff again was super accommodating. The property is in a very transit area which is a good thing - lots of fast food dining options and shopping and easy on/off access to Route 70. Overall we had a pleasant stay and experience

I guess I should have looked past the 8.2 rating. Upon arrival and 1at glance of the room, appeared decent.
1st issue I had was the sleep sofa didnt have any bedding, when i went to front desk, they stated they didnt have anymore and said the beds should have enough linens, when i explained about sofa she asked how many people were there, when i told her 6, she said they have no rooms to sleep 6, (2 queen beds and sleep sofa that sleeps 2) and advertised as 6. She said if some came out of laundry she would let us know.
2nd issue: when my dughter went to make coffee, and use sugar packet a baby roach crawled out on her. She emptied container and found 12 baby roaches (see pics below). When i complained to front desk, was told could not give discounts but move rooms, or cancel our reservation. Unfortunatley at last minute could not find another place.. had to stay there & was given no discount for inconvenience.

I have stayed at Candlewood in Belle Vernon several times. I do feel safe and secure staying there. My only complaint is the light in the bathroom, overhead and above the mirror were so dim it was impossible to shave,(husband) and do makeup and hair. Either better bulbs or clear fixtures are needed there.

We stay at this hotel on a regular basis for business and it is a decent place.. Only pet peeve is the fact that there is always trash thrown around the parking lot and grassy areas.. Granted, people are pigs, but it wouldn't hurt for management to take a walk around the building once a day and pick up the beer cans, bottles, etc... I was there from Friday to Monday and the same trash was there the whole time..

We have stayed here before but it’s been a while since our last visit. This time it is just clear there is no upkeep in this hotel. Everything looks old. Starting with the room door, it’s supposed to be white but it just has lots of dirt marks, it’s the same for all of the other rooms. The AC in the room smells like it’s burning when ON. I don’t think we will be coming back.

Upon initial check-in, I was greeted with a \"I need your ID\" no \"hello\" \"name please\" anything polite. The room was okay but had a very strong smell of an unpleasant cleaning agent. There was something splattered/running down the wall by the kitchen area.
Besides those issues, the room was large, bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was great since it was a hot weekend. I didn't hate it but likely wouldn't choose the candlewood again.

I understand that it is electronic checkout however there was noone to be found to discuss room conditions.
It's was a nice room but house keeping was not good.

I was also charged for something that i have no idea what it is for approx $35.00 .. I'm not very happy with the stay and disappointed as the Candlewood in Miami we stayed in a few weeks ago was great

I have spent 5 months at this hotel for work and might be ok for a quick overnight but not long term. The stairwells and halls stay dirty, one of the 3 washing machines was broken for 4 months. I asked them not to clean my room, I would do it myself because they do not do a good job, they threw things out that were not trash, and I had lottery tickets go missing. Unfortunately, it is the only extended stay within a half hour of my job..
