First , there are no tvs in the rooms , would have been nice to watch playoff hockey. They definitely need new mattresses, bedding. The whole room needs a DEEP clean. I would not recommend this place, the only thing going for it is the view.

We stayed in a room in the main lodge, and were lucky to be upgraded to a mountain view. It was lovely - no TV or telephone made it a very relaxing stay. Our room, however, did not have any hot water, so showering or bathing was not possible. We checked out early so there was no one to report this to upon our departure. Aside from this, our stay was lovely.

Having the fireplace in the room was verrrrry cozy, also being able bring along the furbaby and how furbaby rooms were spread out was nice too, parking right in front of my room. And my room backed out towards one of the many trail system in the area which is mapped out in the visitor sheet given to you at check-in

The staff was helpful and the restaurant was very good. The room was very dated and is badly in need of updating/renovation. Work that had been done was poor quality. The walls are very thin, heat would not stop despite turning down the thermostat and the shower would randomly change to scalding hot.

This is a pet friendly property. I think it has a different feel when you stay in this lodge. This is without the regular amenities such as a TV or a microwave inside the room, but it brings you back to basics which is pure, simple, welcoming and really warm. You are not going to experience the usual stay in a regular hotel room but more off a cabin in the outdoors,

The room was clean and warm though a little outdated. When we arrived they were renovating the check in area so the restaurant was closed, we were unaware of this when booking through Expedia. When trying to check in, I waited outside in the cold for someone to answer the phone. Then someone pulled up with our check in information so crisis and frustration averted. We would stay again, but would call before booking. Have heard great things about the restaurant and want to try it

Newly decorated cabin, was very clean, only big problem I had was i checked in late and it was a self check in procedure and I had a quick glance at my check in policy, seeing it was late... didn't clue in that the doors were self locking and ended up locking myself out of the cabin for a majority of the night. Seeing my phone and everything was still in the cabin, i had no way of reaching anyone to get access back in. And it up sleeping in my cold vehicle tell I could find the groundskeepers to let me back in. Big recommendation, I would have for the cabins, is to either hang a sign when parting from the cabin reminding that itself locking doors ore, use a keypad for the cabin or have 24/7 staff on

The grounds are beautiful but the rooms are extremely basic. Bathroom was cramped and the floor had a pronounced slope. Our flight was delayed to the point where we could not make it here for the first of our 3 night stay. I was hoping the manager would cut us a break but they refused.

On first impression the main building which includes the reception and restaurant was WOW. Check in was excellent. We rented unit 3 in the Miette House because we were travelling with our small dog. On first impression of the unit we were impressed, it was small but had high ceilings, a queen bed, two lounge chairs, fireplace and desk. The bathtub is why we weren’t impressed, it is an old jetted tub system which needs updating, the heads for the jets were black and moldy looking, if it wasn’t for this I would have given this property an excellent rating.

Nice cabins with living and bedroom areas. The restaurant is excellent. The only drawback is that it is about an hour’s drive from Jasper. So if you plan trip to the Icefields, you have to drive an extra hour.

The room was ok. It was kind of small for the price and pretty far from downtown Jasper so a tad inconvenient. The thing I disliked the most, however, was that we could hear every conversation being had by our neighbors through the paper thin walls. I felt like we couldn't talk above a whisper for fear of disturbing them.

This property is located on a hillside overlooking a valley with mountain views, and has privately owned and rentable rooms and cabins, and a central restaurant.
Staff friendly and helpful, but overall we felt it was pricey, and not value for money.
We also are of the opinion that their website does not make it clear (or clear enough) that the property is located 45km from the town of Jasper, and is absolutely not in the town of Jasper. Perhaps this may not deliberate.

The room was very poor.

No door on the bedroom to the entrance was odd.

There were just two chairs in the room, there was 3 of us. We had to sit in the bed.

No hand soap in the bathroom.

Baring in mind this place is remote, we were told upon arrival that there was no room in the restaurant to eat, reception told us we will have recieved an email to say there will be high demand so book in advance, no email but found in the small print.

Luckily there is a brewery 5 mins drive so we headed there and it really is nice.

Guy on reception was helpful in his smiley responses but felt like he was always fighting similar questions.

Just make it clearer or ensure there is enough space for all guests to eat (not overly ambitious).

Location for off grid is good.

Overall we paid £230. You can stay at the Fairmont on Lake Louise for £350 (I checked when we arrived).

Absolutely madness pricing for that cabin I would expect £100 max.

The receptionist was so nice and accommodating.
The place we stayed in, Chalet 134, is not what I am expected, it’s not that good but not too bad either, it serves its purpose. The pull out bed in the living area is not in good condition, too noisy every time you move and not too comfortable to sleep in, surely needed a new sturdy one. The sunrise at the back of the restaurant is beautiful.

Disappointed with staff service. Check in was 4:00pm, we arrived at 6:00 pm and had to wait in our vehicle until well after 7 pm because “they had no rooms ready”. The staff wasn’t willing to do anything for the inconvenience.

Not the biggest problem but to have a 3hr + delay being granted access for what you paid for without any sort of compensation was very disappointing

Great staff and a secluded oasis close to Jasper

Great spot outside Jasper. Very well located and despite being close to the main highway it retains a very nice on the hill spot and secluded to a great extent. The staff at the desk was great- he gave us an upgraded room and was very polite and helpful.

No space for our luggage and there was only 2 chairs for sitting (no sofa). The small desk and fridge were too close to the entrance. With our luggage, we could not enter the room all at once as the entry space too small.

For the price it was not a place I would go again. No air conditioning, no tv and small room. You could hear people in adjacent rooms. 55 km north of Jasper.
