This was a nice place to stay as a couple of you want peace and quiet. It's a nice drive to it, and the room was nicely done with antique furniture. The shower was nice and hot, and everything worked as advertised. There is no TV, which is good if you are there with your significant other. We checked in about 8, and the room was ready with a nice note from the owner. I would stay here again.

Site Pic is outdated. Property needing a little TLC with cleaning and clutter is side & out.…resolved that this is every antique dealer’s challenge. Hostess very nice. Off street Parking is awesome. Location is very good on Route 1A. Steep stairs to rooms -no accessibility options. Room door locks touchy to lock. Found mother-daughter portrait creepy…street traffic vibrations are a bit unsettling in the AM. Overall an ok experience; but what was I thinking taking a room over an antique store?! Allergies were not happy as air quality was a high concern with so much vintage.

This is a very nice B&B with charm and good amenities. One thing I really liked was that we had a bathroom in our room. The property was clean and well maintained. My only negative was the breakfast. It consisted of bagels, cereal and muffins and everything was self-serve. It was actually less than what you get at a large hotel chain. It takes the Breakfast out of B&B for me.

This is a lovely New England B&B. The owners also sell antiques, so the room was outfitted with antique furniture and art, which was also for sale. It was very clean and comfortable. The room was on the small side, which was great for me. They said they could do breakfast as early as 2:30AM! I opted for the more reasonable hour of 8:00 AM. There were lots of breakfast options. They were super friendly. This is not a hot new hotel with all the latest tech. Rather, it is a cozy and friendly old fashioned B&B, which I enjoyed.

It was a fun experience to be in a room where all furniture was for sale (antiques) and the whole building feels like a museum. It didn't have all the advantages of a hotel room (such as a TV or coffee maker in the room), but it was clean and the owners are very kind and accommodating. Checking in and out was very easy.

If you enjoy history, B&Bs, antiques and unique stays, this is the place for you. I had been looking forward to staying at this Stage coach stop since the beginning of my trip. It did not disappoint. Even though we arrived later in the evening the owners met us and made sure we had everything we needed. The beds were amazing ingot comfortable and our room was quiet and private. Although there is no staff on site, the reception is still very friendly, helpful and personal. Handwritten notes are left at the door with check-in information (door code) and room location. In the unit, hand-written notes and standard printed info give complete information needed for the stay. The rooms are tastefully appointed with antique furniture (available for purchase) and nicely decorated. The host is readily available, personable, and perfectly suited for B&B work. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, safe, and updated while decorated with antiques. The breakfast is delicious and home cooked; the coffee is a special roast!

We loved our stay here. We felt relaxed and welcome throughout our week long stay. The innkeeper's were amazing and the most down to earth people you would want to be around. They made sure we saw some amazing places and ate some outstanding meals. Coffee was just the best and a lovely breakfast. The best part of breakfast is you didn't need to set an alarm and be there at their time but you come down at your time and Mrs Ann would take care of you when you woke and appeared. Such a sweet soul she was. The rooms were beautiful and the beds were very comfy. Wi-Fi was strong and we never experienced any lag in speeds. Just loved this place and the accommodations. It really was like time went backwards. Can't wait to be there again.

My wife and I stayed here 1 night so that we could attend Special Olympics in Orono. The building houses an antique store in the downstairs and while the outside of the building might not look like much, the inside is absolutely gorgeous with antique furnishings everywhere. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. I would gladly return and would highly recommend this bed & breakfast to others.

We were severely mistreated by the hostess, Ann. We arrived and set our bags down, put my dying phone to charge and read the friendly note she left on the bed about breakfast. I found the place cozy and quaint, the personalized note was a nice touch. I saddled my camera and left with my sister to explore the area. Within the hour we return, as soon as I make it up the stairs to the room, Ann, whom I have never seen before, approaches me with a wild look in her eyes and starts berating me about my CC not working and she tried two times. It is understandable that she would be concerned however her first reaction was to treat me like a criminal trying to swindle her. I have several CCS with me as well as cash, I pulled up my bank transaction statement on my phone and saw that she charged the card and then the funds were returned for some unknown reason. I revealed this to her and gave her one of my other CC to charge and she gave me some half-baked explanation that she has to cover her ass in this buisness. I listened to her, she was extremely anxious and neurotic, I asked her if she had people take advantage of her like that before and she replied yes and I reminded her that we were not like those people. But after all that and showing her the bank transaction, she made it seem like it was intentional of me. I felt embarrassed and awful. I usually do AirBnB where my stellar reviews are worth gold and host treat me with dignity and respect. I learned my lesson not to stray.
