Bridget was the most pleasant and helpful. She made the experience so pleasant. We had a mosquito situation outside the hotel, in the lobby and even in our room. She immediately got pest control to our room. And explained that the fumigation triggered the situation. The issue was not big compared to how she handled it professionally. We loved the breakfast. Rooms were clean and perfect. We felt very welcomed. Our kids loved the property and Bridget :)

The breakfast buffet at Pavillion restaurant was great and tasty with choice of sounth indian and continental. The Staff at the restuarant was very helpfull and the service was great. The Residency Towers is our choice for stay in Combatore.

Used to be the gold standard in Coimbatore but has become outdated and falling apart. My room didn’t have hot water and the shower wasn’t working well. The floor/ wall edges have broken off. Food is below average with the menu not up to a star hotel standard. Wish they pay attention to maintaining the rooms. The best part of this hotel are their people and service - still top notch and customer focused.

The room was clean, comfortable, and guest services answers calls & delivers what you need in a flash.

The breakfast buffet: The best I have had in India / Tamil Nadu. My first day breakfast included Idly, Dosa, Sambar vada, Pongal, Upuma. My highlight was the Appam with coconut milk!!

Had a dinner at their Chin Chin restaurant - excellent Indo-Chinese food, with great service & big portions.

A special mention about Ms. Gayatri at the front desk: She was phenomenally courteous, professional & very pleasant as she greets you, puts you at ease about the property and amenities.
She single handedly made my stay pleasant - I noticed that she was quite popular among many guests as myself.
She knows the place & the staff well, helped me getting the Red Taxi service, seemed to be well respected and very collaborative with the hotel staff.

When in Coimbatore, I will definitely, stay here. And will have the Buffet Breakfast EVERY DAY!!

It was anazing because of the resturants and entertainment in the hotel. Excellent service from Mahaprabha from the Coffee shop Krave. Also excellent service from the cleaning team, especially Mohit.
I was disappointed with the service from the check in desk. I had booked a premium room with access to the executive lounge. I was told that the lounge is closed because of the pandemic. I found it strange. Cos if it was a pandemic everyone would be wearing masks and there would be Corvid protocols. There was none. Even the staff was not wearing masks. We were the only guests weaing madks. No sanisters to been seen atound. The hotel used corvid as an excuse and closed the lounge. We were not offered any other alternatives or given a voucher.
On the last day the manager offered us complementary airport transfer with the hotel car. When the car arrived it was an outside taxi. It was not funny. I was furious Management could ruin the image of the hotel.

Room was nice. Buffet could use more day to day variety. Seemed like same thing over and over. Some of the amenities were not open. Staff tried hard but got confused easily. Traffic getting to the hotel was brutal. My business was in Tiripur and hotels east of Coimbatore are more practical.

Normally GREAT, But....

We have stayed at the Residency regularly, its my favourite hotel in Coimbatore. It was a little bit disappointing this time. I needed to get the TV working and had to contact the front desk 3times before they got someone to the room, this took over an hour. Then the air conditioning was playing up and to get that sorted took another hour. Everything else was great, but these frustrations were really not necessary!!!!

hotel feels like a home out of home. outside area is pleasant and feels like a private home nice garden with the swimming pool.
i only used Pavilion restaurant and i was impressed with friendliness and flexibility of the staff, Being allergic to cumin i am very limited with meal choices but both chefs arranged that i always have a choice and eat well.
hotel's team from cleaners to the restaurants tio the reception are very nice.
i realised middle of the night that my phones did not work and reception sent two technicians within minutes ,
air conditioner is silent and mattress and pillows very comfortable.
hotel has all of my compliments.

overall a great experience, although the room could’ve been a little bit cleaner and the air-conditioning tricky to manage. Will definitely stay here again. Hope to use this last facilities next time. The outside bar is lovely. But not enough lighting at night time To read the menu. So we all had our mobile phone torches out to shine on the menu to see what drinks we wanted!

The second time I've stayed at the Residency Towers. It is an excellent hotel and it was an enjoyable stay.
However my request for our two rooms to be together did not occur. I also asked that the rooms were not to be close to the elevators however one room was. (I do wonder if hotels read the special requests of their guests?)
Also I would do not recommend the Edition Cocktail Bar. Four small beers cost over 2000 Rupiah. A bit of exploitation I would suggest.

It could have been perfect!

Poor communication between staff of hotel and a big hiccup on banquet booking that stirred a lot of confusion. The impeccable and stylish look of the newly revamped hotel rooms did not match the service quality of the front desk staff who seemed unwilling to help and are clueless. However, the dining staff of the cafe (main dining area) deserve commendation for good service quality, likewise for the variety of food served during buffet.

Visited India after 26 years to meet my friends, awesome breakfast buffet and lunch, very friendly hotel staff. This is a fantastic place to stay around.. this place has lot of history. My main complaints are
1) Bed- The bed I was given really bad.. it had deep curve in the middle - showing its age ... and reminded me there are billions of millions of people sleep'ed on it. This is bad when it comes to top rated and the hotel wanted give a quality sleep to its clients. I really have a back pain due to this!! The hotel has to really really reconsider changing their bed to springless bed.

2) WIFI- If you are a business traveller just like me, the wifi speed is bad. I had lot of trouble getting on the internet... the people at the desk did not have any idea why the internet.. again! Its not their trade. But knowing they have guests with internet issues, they should have technology guys on the call. It is after all .. technology city.

Overall, the food is great, the employees are wonderful.. you will have a great time at this place.

But residency... Please fix these 2 important issues.
