Had an excellent stay at Taj Vivanta Coimbatore! The location was perfect, making it very convenient to get around. The breakfast spread was amazing, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. A special mention to Ms. Shoing for her exceptional service, and Veena at the reception for making the check-in process smooth and seamless. Kudos to the entire staff for being so friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Highly recommended !

We were rather disappointed by the overall management and stay. The governor of another state was at the property when we checked in. There was no care for other guests. We were not attended to, no welcome, no smiling faces. Nothing. We came after a long drive from Ooty and had to do everything ourselves until we asked for help. Staff looked visibly uninterested. The only staff who were helpful and made the stay pleasant were Ashly and Veena or Veni (if Im not wrong) there were the same shift on 7th April. Room was clean but glasses were dirty. Conditioner was in the soap dispenser and soap was in the conditioner dispenser. A room service coffee order took 40minutes to come and the staff went to the wrong room because he was informed wrongly. And that took another 10 minutes. It was pretty sad experience for such a reputable property.

The previous stays were quite OK for us and we had the rooms maintained but this trip, we had a very bad odour in the room and bath room, that it was suffocating, though they tried their best out of the 3 nights stay only by the end of the second day it became ok. other wise usual stay and enjoyed the swimming pool and the Gym

Little things though, like the in room safe that didn't work, tv channels were not available and worst of all, a hotel driver hired to take us to the train station for an early morning train who didn't seem to know the way and didn't speak enough English to understand the instructions on GPS - took away from an otherwise positive experience.

Wonderful stay!!

This review is from my wife but covers my opinion as well. Me and my wife Sita stayed for around 2 weeks at Vivanta Coimbatore in the last week of January and first week of February 2025. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. It is in the best location and very well maintained. The staff is just so warm and friendly and helpful. I cant remember all their names but just want to mention Lily, Remitha, Arun, Ashley and Parthasarathy from the front desk. We needed a room with special assistance and Lily went all out to relocate us to this room. Mr.Arun very kindly provided us a high chair from bar for our comfort.
The Latitude restaurant was exceptional in the matter of breakfast buffet as also the lunch, dinner and a la carte menu. Extremely attentive and helpful staff who immediately attended to our every need.Again dont remember all the names (all of you were nothinng short of excellent) but some we remember are Lily Kikon, Anandi, Vipin, Sunil, Darshan and Ranjith. The Jiva spa was excellent and ably handled by Aasif. The housekeeping team for our floor was just superb catering to our every need. Nathan and Runjhurani big thanks to you for your hard work. So also Prakash.
What else can one say......Superb location, lovely hotel and absolutely amazing staff. More power to the Taj brand. You have done it proud!! Thank you. Will visit again.

Everything was perfect at Vivanta and I can highly recommend that hotel. I loved my spacious room decorated with beautiful colours (no grey, yay!!) , the view, the big swimming pool and the fabulous food. There is a stylish bar and the spa was also great. Staff was superb: efficient, professional, fast and kind.

I booked 391 square feet room by paying 10k and they game me the 270 sq room. I literally asked the staff. If this is 400 sq feet show me the 270 one. And yhey took me and both looked exactly same. The guy argued no. My room number was 225 and i can challnege that it was not 390 sq feet room. And for a 391 sq feet toom the bathroom was 5x8 or so. Front desk staff were like air india staff. Tjey ruined that Taj name. The manager was kind after i check out to off3r an upgrade. By the time i booked my next 4 fays in Radisson blu. The best so far in coimbatore. Bathroom has bath tub. The one and only hotel with bathtubs in coimbatore lol. If Usa i would have bougnt a measuring tape and measured the room and sued vivanta of cheating me with room size

Had a 17 days stay at the Vivanta, overall a pleasant stay, the staff was very attentive to the customer needs, 5 out of 5 for cleanliness and location of the hotel . Ramesh from the housekeeping was very dedicated and well behaved
Few points of improvement
1, Rooms felt very small as compared to other hotels i have stayed before
2. Lack of communication caused me some inconvenience, which i believe the management can take care off
3. Buffet was good and with great spread, just a suggestion, it would be good if the chef can add couple of different dish every day or it becomes very repetitive and boring especially for long stays

Our stay at Vivanta was true to the great Taj hospitality and service experience. We felt pampered by the warmth and service from all the staff right from the entrance to the rooms and in all the restaurants.
The reception staff was always friendly and ready to help with any query.
The staff in even the buffet breakfast were so attentive and offering to bring your choice of food to the table.
The breakfast buffet has an amazing and tasty spread suitable for all and plentiful live counters for hot food.
Would recommend the hotel for anyone wanting the best service and easy connection to places of interest in and around Coimbatore.

I have stayed many times at the Taj Vivanta CBE in the past and have always been very satisfied with the service and cuisine. However this time was different. The staff though polite, seems less experienced, the food though tasty is much more limited especially in South Indian dishes.The room \"electricals\" like plug points are not designed for US plugs and plug adapters were hard to find. My overall sense was one of disappointment given how much I had enjoyed ny previous stays.

I stayed at this hotel for more than two weeks and I can only characterize my stay as extremely enjoyable. Mr. Ganesan and Mr. Ansari at the front desk were very helpful during check-in and made sure I was comfortable during my entire stay. The room was clean, well furnished and quiet. I was a frequent visitor to the gym and found the staff friendly and eager to help. The other facilities at the hotel - swimming pool and restaurants - are quite good as well. The hotel is in a very nice location with many restaurants within walking distance. I'm looking forward to my next visit to Coimbatore ... I know that I'll be staying at the Vivanta.

I was staying with my wife. Room was so clean but they provided one towel for both and not replenishing bath toilet needs such as soap lotion, brush and tissue etc for subsequent days. Not a warm reception in restaurants so I did not use the restaurant.
