This isn't just about the location which is perfect for relaxing. It isn't just about the breakfast which was outstanding! It isn't just about the hot tub, the fireplace in my room, the friendliness of our host, Orcas Island as a whole, but what all those things bring...a perfect stay at a perfect location.

Orcas Island is beautiful and this property is private and surrounded by nature. While there are several rooms, it feels very private. Host is kind and a good cook (gourmet breakfasts) but introverted and stays out of the way. Was willing to accommodate an early check-in. Hot tub was not easy to access and no cream was provided for coffee/tea other than during the mornings. But the home was clean and surrounded by unique artwork (some for sale). Deck was lovely to watch birds and try to spot an otter in the pond.

This was an excellent getaway for our anniversary. We were looking for something quiet and restful and this place delivered. We enjoyed being able to just sit on the back porch and soak in the view of the pond and the many different birds visiting the bird feeders in the backyard. We wished we could have stayed longer. The owner was extremely helpful and kind. Her breakfasts were amazing. Top-quality cooking and presentation. There was no rush and it was fun to connect with the other visitors during breakfast. Otters Pond is just a lovely place in a lovely setting. This was the second time that we've stayed there. The place is immaculate. Amanda's breakfast are scrumptious. She gives you enough that there's enough to take for lunch. We definitely plan to return there.

Wow! This place is simply magical. The scenery is incredible. Becky and Amanda are INCREDIBLE! Otter’s Pond is a beautiful little bed and breakfast. The owner has clearly been attentive to every detail from the local art, the comfortable beds to the seating by a bird song filled lily pond. The B&B is located a little off from the main town on Orca’s Island making it peaceful but also convenient. The island itself is an absolute gem with a lot of breathtaking nature and a sweet little town with adorable shops and a handful of sweet restaurants.

Otter ponds was located very close to Moran state park which is why I chose it for the weekend to run a marathon. We arrived late abs I wasn’t sure where to park, the owner answered her phone on the second ring. We had a contactless chicken in. The room was very clean, the bed was so comfortable and we woke to the sounds of birds chirping. I looked out our window and we had the most incredible view of a pond! The property is very well maintained and the owner was very accommodating (she made me muffins to go for the race). My husband raved about her pancakes! The evening of the race she had a small wedding on the property and made the couple a cake which they shared with us, it was also delicious. The next morning we had to leave early so I missed breakfast again but she packaged us up some yogurt and granola that was delicious. I loved everything about otter ponds! I’m hoping to go back next year!
