Breakfast was traditional Japanese faire, which was delicious and changes every day. They had 3 family onsens that you could use with your children. That was quite fun for the children. The staff was attentive, hospitable and went out of their way to make sure the guests were comfortable. Our room had a bath fed by hot spring water so we could then soak in the comfort of our room. All in all, a wonderful experience

I cannot express what I felt, I was looking for a ryokan to have a nice relaxing moment and I found this ryokan. For the moment I entered my room it was stopless, a nice tatami room, big enough to accomodate 3-4 people. A PERSONAL ONSEN INSIDE YOUR ROOM!!! and overall was the best stay in all my travels to Japan. The hotel is near the 7 hells of Beppu and is easy to find. THE BEST RYOKAN EVER.

The private onsen were phenomenal. The onsen in the room was also amazing. The main clerk made sure to explain everything he could about the room, the baths, and the entirety of the building. Breakfast was also amazing, a large spread of what I hope is a traditional Japanese breakfast.

Enjoy a genuine Japanese experience!

This part of our Japanese trip was terrific in all its aspects. We had a bit of drive, and a late lunch was the first thing on the agenda. We were directed to several nearby restaurants to choose where to go. Our luggage was secured.
When we returned and checked in, the customer service was exceptional. We were shown all the facilities, and the owner demonstrated how to use them. I was surprised we had to nominate our mealtimes, but I later understood why.
We pre-booked dinner, and it was superb. It included hot and cold dishes and was very filling. The quality of the meal was second to none. After dinner, we enjoyed an onsen that was included in our accommodation. I loved it - the privacy and the experience.
The bedding on the floor which for someone who was cramping badly overnight - it proved difficult for me to escape the pain. However, that was a distraction rather than any fault with the facility in the scheme of things.
Breakfast was equally good.
Overall, this was a fabulous stay, and the hosts were typical of the Japanese, very polite and accommodating. When the next day, we visited many of the sites in Beppu, and we were grateful that we took the opportunity to visit the town and this hotel.

I think alot of the review calling this place old are just wrong this place is excellent if you want to do the hells tour and go around bath hopping . It has a traditional feel to it and the staff where helpful and the half board the food and way it was displayed was often the best part of the night.

Amazing ryokan

I had great time with wonderful hardworking staffs here. They are all taking their jobs seriously, and hospitality services were beyond professional expectations. Onsens and bath options are so many that i got to enjoy several different onsens within this facility. Dinner and breakfast were extremely luxurious that i cant believe how relatively cheap to enjoy! Location may be hard to access from beppu station, but if you ask staff to reserve van taxi for large party members a day in advance, no big deal (2050 yen from beppu station to this ryokan, but we all gave extra 1000 yen for tips for great taxi service drivers).

It is a nice place and the staff are excellent, breakfast was great and the onsen baths on site are nice as well. However the room we were given smelled strongly of smoke (I'm not sure if the app booked us in a smoking room or if the hotel did) and it was generally a little more run down than we would have liked. The pictures make it look a lot nicer than it is. The bath area in the room could definitely use some fixing/cleaning up. Also the location is not convenient for downtown Beppu - it is convenient if you are visiting the hells, however.

It was okay. Good to have private bath but don’t go there in the evening. There are mosquitoes at night time. My husband got 4 bites and I got 3. There wasn’t a massage chair as shown on their websites. Not much of accommodations. No face mask nor hair treatments. Only body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Kind of disappointed. Most onsens I been to have lots of beauty supplies that you can try. The tatami is comfortable and the food is definitely good. We just didn’t like the mackerel.

Dinner was great and helpful staffs

Room is big enough for 5 guests but the private bathroom was too exposed. The staff was helpful to cater to our needs by providing us a screen to cover up the glass panel to block the views from the opposite building. The staffs helped us to lay out our futons. Dinner was great with lots of varieties.
Private Onsen is just nice for 2 to 3 guests.

친절한 응대, 깔끔하고 넓은 객실, 포근한 침구, 바다뷰, 여유로운 가족탕과 대욕탕, 맛있는 가이세키와 조식까지! 근처에 큰 마트랑 베이커리도 있고 맥도날드와 니시마츠야도 가까워요. 지옥온천 관광지도 가까워서 다녀오기 좋습니다. 16개월 아기와 함께 방문했었는데 정말 좋은 추억 가득 남기고 다녀갑니다. 감사합니다!

깨끗한 객실과 친절한 직원, 맛있는 조식과 석식 너무너무 좋았어요. 근데 큰 도로 옆에 료칸이 위치해 있어서 차량 소음이 심해 밤새 음악을 틀고 잤어요 이틀 숙박했는데 식사때마다 메뉴가 달라서 질리지 않고 너무 좋았어요

施設は、ちょっと古い感じでしたが、スタッフの方は親切丁寧で良かったです、また、お風呂も温度調整バッチリでとても気持ち良く過ごす事が出来ました。朝食も美味しく食べ切れ無い程でした。

온천이 각방마다 딸려있어서 너무 좋았어요. 커텐이 적어 아침에 강제기상하긴 했는데 아침밥 먹을 시간이라 저는 상관 없었지만 동행이 아침잠이 좀 많아 불평을 했네요ㅋㅋ 저녁도 포함해 묵었는데 메뉴도 훌륭하고 좋았어요ㅎㅎ 다음번엔 가족들이랑 그룹으로 오고 싶어요. 호텔 직원분들이 진짜 너무 다 친절하셨고 그래서 기억에 많이 남아요! 강추해요.

일본에서 기대했던 료칸 그대로 였어요. 규모가 크진.않지만 조용하고 친절한 응대로 편안한 휴식이 되었습니다.
가족탕과 대욕탕이 붐비지않아 여유롭게 이용 할 수 있었습니다. 온천수가 잘 관리되어 만족스러운 시간을 보냈습니다.
저녁 가이세키와 조식 모두 다양한 구성으로 좋은 추억을 남길 수 있었습니다.

만족스러운 온천 료칸

석식과 조식 모두 제공되는 료칸을 찾다가 예약했습니다. 방 안에 온천욕탕도 있지만 사용하지 않고 대욕탕과 가족탕 사용했습니다. 만실이었지만 욕탕들이 붐비지 않아 쾌적하게 사용했습니다. 물이 좋았어요.
석식, 조식 모두 입맛에 맞았습니다. 석식 중에 요리와 술 추가하여 먹었는데 가격 괜찮았습니다.
근처에 편의점, 드럭스토어, 슈퍼, 맥도날드 있습니다.
지옥온천들은 도보로 15~20분 걸립니다.
직원분들 모두 친절했고 만족스러운 숙박이었어요.

좋은 료칸 하나 알아냈습니다

여기 가이세키 와 조식이 정말 맛있어요
거기다가 야외 가족 온천탕과 개인 가족온천탕 둘다 있어서 좋습니다
버스정류장도 바로 앞에있고, 가격도 적당해서 다음에 또 가볼생각 입니다
석식때 일하는 한국인 직원이 있어서 한국 여행객들이 체크인 할때 편해요
지인에게 꼭 추천해주고 싶네요

親切的傳統日式溫泉飯店

傳統的日式溫泉飯店，自駕遊的可從大馬路入駐車場，附近有超巿、也有各式各樣食店。
員工很親切貼心，車子剛駛入駐車場，即有員工指示停泊，還幫忙搬行李到前臺辦理入住。
榻榻米客房內有私人風呂，溫泉水源源不絕。即使預訂普通客房，也有大浴場，或風呂房供住客使用。
一泊兩食各套餐都很豐盛，晚餐10道菜包括鍋物、燒物，甚至名物地獄蒸，米飯尤其好味。

추천하는 료칸입니다.

직원모두 친절하시고 음식도 맛있고 좋았습니다.
가성비 좋은 료칸이라고 생각됩니다.
아기를 동반하고 갔는데 잘 챙겨주셔서 즐길 수 있었습니다.
아기로 예약했는데 나중에 차지를 보니 유아로 되어있어서 어린이 음식이 나왔던것 같습니다.

접근성이 좋고, 2개의 주차장의 공간이 많습니다. 바로 앞 버스 정류장에서 지옥순례하는 곳 까지 바로 갈 수 있습니다.
내부 온천에는 남여 구분된 공용탕이 있고 음료, 우유, 맥주 자판기 있습니다. 탁구도 칠 수 있습니다. 가족탕은 총 3개에, 한 가족탕은 더 큽니다. 원하면 몇번이고 온천을 이용할 수 있습니다. 석식 가이세키는 명물인 지옥찜을 포함하여 전부 맛있었고 다양한 맛을 즐길 수 있었습니다. 이곳에 있는 일본주도 만족스러웠습니다. 직원 분들의 응대도 친절하고 머무르는 동안 불쾌함이 하나도 없었고, 영어로 대화해도 충분히 소통이 가능 할 것 같습니다.
주변에 편의점 이외에도 대형 마트가 있어 더 다양한 일본 제품을 보는 것이 가능했습니다. 맥도날드도 있습니다.
한가지 아쉬운점을 꼽자면 방과 방간의 소음은 없으나 창문 밖의 차소리가 조금 들릴 수 있는점, 건조된 수건에서 보풀이 조금 날렸다는 점이 있습니다.
