There will be a cash fee per night when you arrive which was not stated on the website. They tried to say it was taxes but as a foreigner you wouldn’t pay that. There’s a hole in the shower of the downstairs mixed dorm, so showers can get cold. I stayed in an all-female room and my friend stayed in a mixed. The patio upstairs is rooftop style and nice. They make your bed daily. It’s in a fantastic location with many shops around. The staff is lovely and helpful with finding the best prices for adventures. It was a nice experience. The only other downside is mirrors and lack of, making it hard to put on makeup. Some are small. There is a cat that lives there which is adorable and they offer breakfast and cooking class.

I stayed at BoHo 27 during my visit to Marrakech and had a very positive experience overall. While it’s not a luxury property, the customer service was exceptional — easily 10/10. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay.

They arranged airport pickup and drop-off for €15 each way, which made arriving and leaving the Medina much easier. I was also able to store my bags while I went on a Sahara desert excursion, which I conveniently booked through the hostel.

The location is great — tucked down a small alley in the Medina but still close to everything. The rooftop area was a nice place to relax, and the breakfast exceeded my expectations with fresh bread, eggs, fruit, juice, and tea.

I visited during Ramadan, and the staff even invited me to join them when they were breaking their fast, which was a thoughtful gesture.

Note that the city tax is collected in cash upon arrival, which is common in Morocco.

As a solo traveler, I felt very comfortable staying here and appreciated how helpful the staff was with transportation and excursions. Also, there’s a very cute resident cat who hangs around the property.

Well they ask for city tax 2.5EUR. Saying this is always paying at property. Even showing them my recipe saying that city tax was including in price. I slept in other place night before and no one ask me to pay extra city tax. So I left and ask owner for refund. He said he will refund after 24h. One week past and never got refund :(

The hostel is nice and friendly, there’s a cool rooftop and coffee. The AC isn’t the best but it has AC. Also, I booked a 3 bed dorm but the dorms are all large, it’s fine but not as advertised. There is however a very cute, friendly hostel cat 😀

Stayed there for a short stayed, hostel is in a very good location to do Marrakech Medina and all the sightseeings places around. Don’t expect much about share areas in the hostel, but definitely a very nice staff willing to help with everything during your stay.

Aptly named. - Cheap, cheerful and laid back. friendly staff.
Mainly under 30 clientele from around the world. There was a store room off my room so staff were going through now & again. Lockers were in short supply but I got given a key to the front door ( most people just knocked) staff seemed to be around 24hrs. Plenty of charging points and reading lights by beds.

I’m not usually a hostel-stayer, so it could be that I’m biased but I found the place very hectic and noisy and not very convenient. There is space around the bunks for little platforms or hooks to hang these and they weren’t included. The host, Younes, is a good cook, but he tried to push a lot of people on included breakfast or city taxes which some people weren’t happy with. There was also no lights out or quiet policy so I couldn’t get a good night’s sleep either. If you’re a veteran traveller who loves the hostel life it should be perfect for you (as it was for a number of my fellow guests) but I wouldn’t go back.

My friend and I both got bitten on two nights around the shoulder and back belt area. Also the last nite we both did not have a cover sheet.
I had arranged for an airport pickup...
but I was not on the airport drivers pickup list....

I choice this place because of the good reviews and I was not disappointed. Khalid and Zahit welcomed me with open arms and tea and were always there to give advice and directions. Excellent value for money.

It is the closest thing to a Morocon experience, they are Berbers, and it makes it unique, stay with them, and it will be the best time you have in a Hostel around the world.

We felt so welcomed in the Boho hostel, the hosts treated us more like friends than customers. It was a great experience. They ideed know what hospitality is. They welcome you with a tea or coffee and the host would draw a map for you not to ge lost in the maze of the streets of the old town. We will miss the time we spent with them over great Moroccan tea and talks. The beds were very comfy as well and I loved the warm duvet! The shower was nicely hot, just the thing you need after a busy day expolring the town. The breakfast was great as well, absolutely worth it for the price. Best regards to everyone in the Boho hostel from Dani and Carlos. Again, a big Thank you for making our stay memorable!

I had a really warm welcome. The two guys working there were so nice to me. They made sure I felt comfortable and they were very helpful. I expected to meet new people but the place was empty by the time I arrived. So I guess that's why I got all their attention that I felt like family. The room was clean and organized. It was quite small but perfect for just myself. It was actually a 6 people room. I would recommend it for groups just don't bring too much luggage :)

yes it looks like the photos, but that is the only good thing I can say. they don’t wash the sheets/blankets EVER. I mean it - I stayed for 3 weeks and they didn’t wash for new guests. NOT ONCE. they just remade the bed to look clean. they are an illegal hostel without license and because of that they have no sign and are hard to find. the manager LIVES in one of the dorm rooms. he will pretend to be your friend to make money off you. It’s not safe and not worth the price. there is no place to store your belongings except on the floor, very small \"lockers\" with a key they have access to, no place to hang your towel, no bathmat. both the kids and men in the square right outside are horrible and bother you all day every day chasing you for money or to tell you that you’re beautiful. find a riad, or another hostel. and the owner threatened me to leave a good review and when I told him I would not he told me I was ugly. women: please trust me don't stay here.

Nice staff but some things to improve

We had a good time in Boho27 hostel. Actually the staff treated us really good! Breakfast was fine, and they were flexible to our timetables. We could leave our bags while we where at the desert. The location is great, only 5 minutes walk to the Jemaa Square. Wifi was bad, so that’s the thing to improve cause sometimes is useful for us travelers ;)

Restée une nuit juste pour prendre un vol à marrakech : pas de casier personnel pour son sac (sous le lit sans cadena), housse de coussin pas très propre et salle de bain / toilettes rudimentaire. C’est vraiment le strict minimum selon moi. Pour 1 nuit ça va mais je ne serai pas restée plus.
J’ai payé le petit-déjeuner mais étant partie à 6h, je n’en ai pas profité.
Le monsieur du Riad m’avait réservé mon taxi pour 6h d’ailleurs mais dormait à cette heure là et j’ai du le réveiller moi-même pour qu’il m’accompagne, comme c’était contenu la veille, jusqu’au taxi…
Bref, avis et expérience mitigée !

Rien à avoir avec les photos, mobilier ancien, on a pas envie de rentrer prendre une douche. Et il y à tellement de bruit tout au long de la journée, impossible de se reposer en journée et le soir le calme se trouver vers minuit et encore. Un des responsables met la musique à fond en bas et comme c’est mal insonorisé…. Bref éviter si vous pouvez. Pour les budgets serré allez y mais ne vous attendez à rien… ET OUUI un chose des votre arrive on vous TAXE des frais de séjour de 2,5€ la journée !!!!!!!

Taxe de séjour arnaquée et confort médiocre

Les lits superposés sont reliés entre eux par du carton (?) et le moindre mouvement secoue fortement l’ensemble du dortoir… très difficile de dormir plus de 20 minutes d’affilée.

ATTENTION la taxe de séjour a été surévaluée et je compte ça comme une arnaque (ils m’ont pris 26dh par nuit comme un hôtel de luxe, au lieu de 2dh pour une auberge comme l’indique la loi)

Dommage, car le personnel de réception et nettoyage est au top…

Superior 3-Bett-Zimmer mit Handtuch gebucht, aber in der Unterkunft angekommen hieß es das existiert nicht wir können dich nur in ein 10-Bett-Zimmer packen. Als ich meinte ich habe es gebucht dann steht mir das auch zu oder sie sollen zumindest ihre Anzeige wechseln wurde mir gesagt ich könnte es ja schön (rückerstattungslos) stornieren. Vielen Dank auch! Es wurde auch eine nicht aufgeführte Tourismussteuer verlangt in Höhe von 2,50 Apropos: ich war in 3 anderen Riads in Marrakesch die einen viel besseren Service für weniger Geld geliefert haben, daher besser informieren und gegebenfalls auch auf einer anderen Website buchen

Ich habe es nicht gleich gefunden, der Eingang ist etwas versteckt, um die Ecke. Das Personal ist freundlich, einmal täglich wird gereinigt, Wifi funktioniert. Nachzuzahlen sind 2,5€ Touristensteuer pro Tag. Es werden hier auch touristische Aktivitäten angeboten. Kein Alkohol auf der Dachterasse! Das Bett ist sauber, Licht und eine Steckdose am Bett. Wenn man zu spät duscht, ist das warme Wasser aufgebraucht. Ich habe mich hier sicher und wohl gefühlt.

Super hébergement au cœur de la Médina. Moi qui aime la collectivité, c'est aussi un lieu de rencontre avec des voyageurs en provenance du monde entier qui permet de partager de belles expériences. Le personnel est vraiment très sympathique, accueillant, attentif et disponible à tout moment. Le riad est super, calme et très confortable. Un très bon rapport qualité prix avec une ambiance assurée et différentes des hôtels de luxe, un état d'esprit d'aventuriers comme j'aime.
Merci beaucoup à toute l'équipe pour l'accueil qui m'a été réservé. J'ai passé un très bon séjour à vos côtés. Bien entendu, je reviendrai. A très bientôt, Amicalement, Pascal 😉
