The hotel is good, but little out aged. The bathroom had mold in the tiles which doesn’t match the price of the hotel. Breakfast was okay but not one of the best. Honestly I expected much more considering the price and location.

The hotel was convenient location, although there is a helicopter pad across the street that is used for transportation for ambulances. The hotel is dated like back in the 80’s and the staff is not knowledgeable about the restaurants around the area. This hotel is definitely used for conferences and not luxury accommodation.

Amazing! Fabulous view of the sea. Room was wonderful, very comfortable. Staff spoke great English. Hotel was directly across the street from a very nice mall and lots of restaurants. The tourist bus stops directly behind the hotel for an all-day adventure around the island.

For a 4 star hotel, this is a 2~3 star quality in everything but the breakfast. Rooms are dirty (don't enev dare look under the bed), only basic amenities (3 star level at best), terrible maimtenance (My foot got stuck on the shower drain cover because it was bent/broken. I complained, they put it exaclty as it was back, I complained again, they moved to another room, I bet they just put the bent cover back). Old TV, failing lights, slow cleaning. They explore their top location, offer basic ammenities and charge you for almost 5 stars

Not worth the price

I wouldn’t stay in this hotel again. Our room had many issues that shouldn’t exist for this price point: the closet doors were loose and almost falling, the blinds completely fell from the ceiling when I tried to lower them (with no effort at all - they simply fell and could’ve hit me or someone else), and the bed was terrible. The “king” size bed was just two twin beds put together, so it had a divide in the middle. The shower was also not good. Breakfast was just ok. Again, for this price point I was expecting something better and, therefore, would not recommend.

This was a horrible experience. The hotel needs major remodeling, it's extremely outdated. Service sucks, I asked for an extra bed to be brought to the room and the bed came damp as thought it was seating outside completely wet. No quality control, sheets were torn and did not seem very clean...just overall a terrible experience.

This is a 3 star hotel definitely not a 5 star. To get to the beach you have to cross 6 lanes of traffic. The pool is inadequate and the noise from the traffic below does not make it relaxing. Buffet breakfast was basic and tasteless We left after 1 night although we had booked 3.

Excellent stay for those willing to spend a bit more on a hotel in Floripa. The hotel view was amazing, the room was comfortable, and all 4-star amenities were available. There is plenty of storage in the room as well. The breakfast room is nice, overlooking the bay. The wifi and shower worked great too.

Hotel is run down and needs a refresh. On check in, we had no one to help us with our luggage. Check in was not very welcoming bordering on unpleasant. Room was good size, but beds, sheets and pillows were not comfortable. We had a balcony we couldn’t access because it was locked with a key. Blow dryer was almost unusable and toiletries were scarce. No iron for pressing clothes available, and was told I had to put in a request to get my clothes ironed with a minimum wait not guaranteed of 2 hours. Room had a stocked mini bar which was good. Room had visible wear and tear everywhere. Water pressure in shower was amazing. Breakfast view was amazing, food selection not so much. It was also crowded and a bit dirty due to amount of people eating. Check out was pleasant and we had assistance with our bags.

Overall, the hotel is not expensive compared to USA standards, but it is definitely not worth the stars it boasts.

We booked half board and the food was buffet style in the evening which was very nice and varied unfortunately the restaurant was not busy in the evening and always felt too dimly lit and a little too cool which was a shame but all in all a very nice stay

Nice staff in a terrible hotel.

The hotel unfortunately was extremely noisy. My family and I stayed for 3 nights, and during all the nights I had to call front complaining about noise. You can hear everything. There is no carpet in the hallway, which makes someone opening the door on the other room extremely loud. The quality of the sheets and towels was terrible as well.
On the other hand, the staff was extremely friendly, they provided extra pillows, a crib and a bath tub for my daughter. Breakfast buffet was also great.

Nice hotel, very helpful staff. The room they initially gave us was very cold with air conditioning on but no heating available. When we complained, they gave us a new room with a portable heater for extra 'boost', and sent a nice complimentary dessert and a letter of apology. A rapid and appropriate way to solve the problem.

Great Location but disappointing

The hotel is located next to a shopping mall and several restaurants which makes it very convenient location, but the corridors of the hotel are not air conditioned and it's quite hot, the rooms require a card to run the AC as well so when you enter the room - it takes it time to cool down, but the worst is that they have a known issues with their toilets - they get clogged very easily.

Breakfast is a very varied buffet, and you can always fins something you like
the rooms are nice and quite modern
The pool is too small and not heated

overall, the hotel is nice but too pricey, specially during the Carnaval season

Great and friendly front desk people! Location was good, hotel comfortable, breakfast was great, price overall good. The only complaints we have would be the beds are very uncomfortable, air conditioning in room wasn’t very strong, and our experience with room service was poor. We called to order room service after a long day at the beach (Campeche Island- a must see ) we ordered filet mignon steak sandwiches but they brought us a filet mignon steak dinner ( which was not in the budget). So we had to wait even longer for our food which we had already waited at least 45 mins to begin with. Then the sandwiches weren’t even that good. Other than those two issues we enjoyed our stay and would again.

Not worth the money!

This hotel is okay only for it's location. Service oa extremely poor and front desk personnel incredibly surly and ineffective. Many better choices for hotels close by, less expensive and with a staff that actually treats you like a valued customer. Sace some money and go to the Blue Tree.

FYI .. there are No teaspoons in the building... seriously.
The advertised pool photos are taken at special angles; it is not as glamorous as made out.. the \"infinity pool\" is actually small.. there is a large glass walled disabled lift... there are ocean glimpses.
From my room I had a great view of the concrete in the adjacent car park, a metal silo and a sad housing building that resembled a Correctional Facility. (Photo attached).
The hotel felt like it was once used for conventions; it is situated away from the beach.

No guests allowed in your room. Limited wifi.

They don't tell you when you book online or at check in that No guests are allowed in your room; you will need to read 'the fine print' on the literature left inside your room. A burly security man guards the access to the guest elavators.
There is no wifi available other than inside your room; very inconvenient whist waiting in the lobby... especially when you need to book a uber.
The towels are stored awkwardly on the narrow ledge under the glass in the bathroom.
The \"business centre\" consists of 2 computers on the mezzanine. Good luck with getting your documents printed by the staff at the front desk vis email.

O hotel estava lotado. O funcionário ofereceu um upgrade que na verdade era um downgrade . Um quarto enorme com uma cama extra e dois sofás velhos e furados. O sistema hidráulico super velho fazendo um barulho enorme não só no próprio como nos dois quartos adjacentes. Um inferno.
As toalhas velhas e surradas inconcebível para um hotel dito 5 estrelas.

Por ser o hotel mais famoso de florianópolis esperava algo MUITO melhor, a única coisa que vale a pena é a vista do mar, se teu quarto tiver ela. pois de resto é um hotel velho, com móveis velhos, com colchão velho(e desconfortável). o banheiro estava sujo assim com lustros pequeno pontos do quarto. o quero tinha um cheiro anda agradável. Então se você quer vista do mar, é incrível, se quer qualidade e conforto, vá para outro hotel mais novo.
