The hotel is really well maintained and staff being nothing but friendly and welcoming. The location itself is central to everything old Bangalore has to offer which was perfect for me.

I specifically want to call out Vim Sarkar, one of the Cafe Managers. During my 2 week stay, he took care of me every morning making sure I got what I needed. He even sent up some fruits to my room for midnight snack if I needed. He's an asset to the hotel!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Racecourse Bengaluru for 3 nights and had a truly pleasant experience. The hotel is clean, modern, and well-maintained. Our room was just right with a very comfortable bed and a lovely partial view of the Bangalore Turf Club.

The staff were courteous and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. The dinner buffet had a good variety of options, and the quality of food was excellent.

We also appreciated the convenient location—close to the city centre yet peaceful. Overall, a great choice for both business and leisure travellers. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Holiday Inn

Our stay was wonderful. My husband and I stayed there for 4 nights. We loved our room. Breakfast buffet was also great with a lot of variety. We would like to thank Mr Abhinandan who guided us with transport in Bengaluru. Big thank you also to Ms Neha, Padmavana, Shreya and Sayan at the front office for all the help. Thank you all for making our stay memorable. Not to forget the Security personnel at the entrance. We will definitely come back when we visit Bengaluru again.

We enjoyed our stay. The front office team, Padmavana, Shreya, Sayan, Neha etc.. together with Abhinandan were marvellous. They were all very very helpful including the bagage boys and those forming part of the security team at the entrance. We will definitely stay at Holiday Inn Racecourse whenever we come back to Bengaluru.

For a five star hotel the condition of its toilets were pathetic!
And, this is when we were staying on a suite! The sewer lines were choked and were emitting a foul smell. So ultimately we had to request the management to change our room, which they did. But the one night that we spent in this stinking room was awful.
The saving grace was their chefs and their food, which was outstanding.

This property never maintain its brand quality and services. Providing one key card for double occupancy room is something very frustrating. And each staff gives a different explanation. I believe they are told to scam the guests. Rooms are cleaned half way.

The Holiday Inn Racecourse is well located with proximity to different shopping areas. The hotel is clean, with very friendly and helpful staff. The meals offered in the different restaurants was also very good. My room on the 16th floor had a great view of the racecourse!

The Rools are small even Bed is not as per Holiday inn standard . Bathroom too small . Later I understand from front desk the property recently converted from Holiday inn Express to Holiday inn .

The property is secure by guards in front of the gate. The restaurant is nice since it gives you the option of eating what you like by choosing from available buffet. The price is affordable.

I like the SPA and the steam bath. The swimming pool and the gym was very nice.

I had a terrible experience from the time I checked into the hotel. I traveled from the US with a reservation in the hotel and after 24 hours of flight when I checked in I was given a different room than I had originally booked. They allocated a smoking room and then the entire floor and the room was unbearable. I had to then compromise to pick a lower-class room though I had paid for one above it. The staff was extremely unsupportive and rude. I wanted an early check-in which I had already requested before I flew in but they took a full-day rental from me. The food is also terrible. Photo is deceptive for how the hotel is. The only good thing is the view you get of race course and its good from an upper floor.

On my Day 1, I had requested the hotel's housekeeping staff that I needed extra towels, napkins, water bottles and bathing essentials. In spite of that I had to tell them everyday to bring the extras.

I called the hotel on the phone number listed on Google for this property and to my utter surprise no one answered the calls.

The washbasin in the room was choked and the housekeeping staff promptly repaired it on Day 2 or Day 3 and informed me that they will fix the issue the next morning. The wash basin was choked again.

The only saving grace was the staff present during the breakfast. They are the best and they ensured that I get a great start for my day every day.

Worst Place to Stay in Bangalore

The hotel is good for nothing that I could mention here. The staff at the hotel though knowing they work in the hospitality industry has no sign of understanding what hospitality is.

The hotel has half the staff from WB may be some from Bangladesh who does not even know what India and Indian people are all about.

Room Service availability is non existent and if you ask for water bottles in the room then they behave as if they are doing some kind of favor to you. I want to specially mention about the staff Moumita and Satish. They have no clue what's happening at the property but they are definitely kept to intimidate customers if they complain about any shortages

while check in told us to wait for 45 minutes, no water nothing was offered. asked for towel got next morning. food quality horrible and it was super cold food served both dinner and breakfast. powder milk in the room horrible and expired,did complaint but again the same quality was given. while checking out requested for 2 disposable mask , but staff replied we don't give any masks.
