The staff are lovely, polite and helpful. The spa area is fab, clean and a relaxing space to rejuvenate after walking around the city. Rooms are a good size, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was looking a tiny bit tired. The air conditioning didn’t seem to cool the room down.

Our overall stay at Amiral Palace Hotel was positive. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area, and the breakfast was outstanding with plenty of choices to suit different tastes. We did encounter a couple of minor hiccups during our stay including the fire alarm going off for extended period of time at 1:30 AM in the night, but the staff handled them very professionally and apologized sincerely. The only real downside was the in-room Wi-Fi, which worked only near the door but dropped completely when we were on the bed. Aside from that, we enjoyed our time and would recommend the hotel for its great location and hospitality.

Amazing breakfast! Lots of food choices, the staff at the breakfast were very friendly and efficient, plus the rooftop dining area is awesome.

Hotel close to restaurants, and easy walking distance to Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace and Basilica Cistern. Special shout out to desk staff OG ( his initials, sorry forgot name) with the cool kicks and helpful directions and tips for catching the ferry and navigating to the other side of Istanbul. Views from restaurant and some rooms spectacular!

We loved our stay here! It’s is a great location for the visitor attractions in the Sultanahmet area and close to lots of restaurants. The staff are friendly & helpful, and housekeeping services were great. The room itself was furnished & maintained to a high standard and had a wide range of bathroom amenities. I stayed at the Amiral Palace Hotel Boutique Class in Istanbul, Turkey. When I was checking out, I stepped outside to get a taxi. There was a blue-cap taxi parked right in front of the hotel. I asked the driver how much he would charge to go to Istanbul’s new airport (IST). He gave me a price, and I agreed.

When I went back inside to grab my bags, the front desk staff asked if I needed a taxi. I told them I already had one arranged. Shortly after, while I was in the taxi on my way to the airport, I realized that the hotel staff had shared my photo with the driver, complaining that he picked me up without notifying them or paying them a commission.

I was extremely disappointed - it felt like my privacy was violated. If they can share a guest’s picture with a taxi driver, it makes you wonder what other personal information they might share.

Another thing that bothered me was discovering that the hotel seems to take commissions “under the table” from taxi drivers, and that often results in higher fares for guests.

My advice to future visitors: be cautious many people there may try to overcharge or take advantage of tourists.

The hotel was perfect until they booked us a ride to the ship and charged us $50 for a $20 fare. Plus they only wanted to pay the driver $15! Hotel was great. Reception was greedy. Imdure the hotel didn't get that extra cash. Tho I did check and trip from the airport they booked was spot on at $60.

The breakfast was amazing!!! Huge spread, it had different elements every day. We had included Turkish tea daily, and Turkish coffee for an extra fee. The room was tiny, but it had a great shower. The indoor pool was wonderful, it was very beautiful, the water was warm. The sauna was lovely but it’s only for adults. We did not take advantage of the rest of the spa. Would stay again 100%.

During my recent stay, I encountered several issues that might be important for potential guests to consider. Firstly, I did not receive any VIP upgrades, and the room assigned to me was quite small. Additionally, I noticed that the smell of cigarette smoke permeated my room, which was unexpected. The location was near a busy road, resulting in significant noise from pedestrian traffic and disturbances from the room above.

Furthermore, I found the recommendation for the tour guide to be overpriced and not a good value for the money. It appeared that the arrangements were previously established, likely for commission purposes with the concierge. Potential guests may want to explore alternative options for tours and accommodations

Overall great little hotel. Staff is friendly and rooftop restaurant is a must with their excellent team especially Adnan and Cere. The only complaint I have is that the twin bed bedrooms on ground floor are WAY TOO SMALL. No hangars, no room to maneuver and minimal natural light. These should be half price vs other rooms. Other than that great place!!

Highly recommend! The king suite was very clean, modern, quiet and comfortable. The A/C was a god sent as the outside temperatures were hot. 10 minutes walk from Sultan Ahmet and all the tourist attractions. The room is well insulated and you don't wake up to the sounds of Ezan (muslim prayer) or the city. The sauna, hamam, and pool were amazing after a long day of sightseeing. The rooftop restaurant offers a generous buffet breakfast that is well worth the price when you book the room and has a lovely view of the bosphorus. All in all, we were extremely happy with Amiral Palace, its friendly staff and all the accommodations. I'd go back to it in a heartbeat.

This hotel is really well situated, near all the main sites, with easy access to transit. The staff were lovely and very hospitable. We had an issue with the AC in our room the first night, and the staff immediately found a solution for us and put us in another room for the night, without the hassle of having to move our luggage and belongings over. The breakfast was first class; special shoutout to Mohammad who worked at the restaurant and was at our service for anything and everything we needed while we dined. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who comes to Istanbul.
