The Hotel is simply 10 out of 10, Great Location, Fantastic restaurant in the Hotel, The Staff, The Management simply can’t do enough for you, That are so friendly and warm well as welcoming.. The rooms are big and very clean and modern, It has a nice Spa and a swimming pool. I have been staying here for the last 7 years and I can never get enough of this place just superb. Overall, a very good experience. If travelling on my own, I’d probably choose this hotel again, however I was with my partner and there were a couple of things that really should be looked at to rate 5 stars.

Our room was great, with a balcony overlooking Varna’s magnificent Sea Garden park, with the Black Sea beyond, within 10 minutes walk, and the inner city behind us for all conveniences.

However, beware that the higher price rooms have thick old carpet that unfortunately smells of many celebrated nights over the hotel’s history. The lower price rooms still look good and do not have carpet. They need to replace it or remove it altogether.

Another odd thing was that to connect to the hotel wi-fi, the tv needed to be turned on and it faces directly on to the bed.

Otherwise, the room was absolutely fine.

The main restaurant was being renovated (it looks like for a long time to come), and breakfast was in the downstairs lounge bar, so perhaps this had some effect, but for a fully booked summer resort, the buffet was modest by 5 star standards, and unfortunately a little uninviting. The eggs were not turned or replaced enough. Hot stuff was nearly cold. Fruit salad seemed from a tin.

So, this place has all the elements of a 5 star resort - it’s just that many elements fall short of industry standards.

The location is absolutely unrivalled in Varna and the staff were nice 🤗

Varna Stay

We visited family in Varna and used the hotel for a 5 night stay in December. We booked an executive double room with a sea view. Check in was easy and reception staff were helpful & friendly. The hotel is situated a short walk to the centre. Our room was on the tenth floor 1003 and had a panoramic sea view. The room was large with a walk-in wardrobe, large bathroom with bath and separate shower, and spacious bedroom with large TV (no English channels worth watching). The king size bed was comfortable, bedding was changed regularly and plenty of clean towels were provided daily. Rituals toiletries are provided including shampoo & conditioner, and there is a decent enough wall mounted hairdryer in the bathroom. There is a tea making equipment, free safe and mini bar and you get a complimentary bottle of water every day. The hotel is quiet and we didn't hear any noise at night. Breakfast was served in reception as the restaurant was undergoing renovation and this may have affected the options available as food choices were limited. The hotel was spotlessly clean and staff were all friendly and helpful.

This is a really good hotel - close enough to the centre of Varna to walk to.

The vast majority of the staff are professional - helpful and welcoming. We only came across one rude abrupt colleague - on the desk of the spa - who needs additional training in providing excellent customer service.

The room with a sea view was well kept and comfortable.

The hotel itself and the room were great—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. However, the staff could be a bit more friendly, especially the lady at the swimming pool and Jim, who were not polite at all. On the other hand, the restaurant staff, outside of breakfast hours, were very polite and helpful, providing excellent service.

Breakfast was good but could be improved by offering more choices. Additionally, the orange and apple juices were not freshly squeezed and were served very warm, which was disappointing.

Overall, Rosslyn Dimyat Hotel offers a solid experience, but with some improvements in staff friendliness and breakfast options, it could be even better.

A lovely hotel in an excellent location . The views across the sea garden of the sea were amazing. The room was so huge and well appointed. Maybe there could be more hooks in the bathroom for wet towels, dressing gowns and swimming costumes. The shower cubicle has a bit of a design fault so the bathroom floor gets very wet. The pool and steam room were great. Breakfast was nice but I had to return my decaf coffee with soya milk because it had curdled in the jug and never got a replacement. Decaf coffee and soya milk were not available at the buffet and needed to be requested. The reception staff were very friendly and efficient.

We stayed in a beautiful one bedroom suite on a high floor with two bathrooms. Beautiful and clean, great bellhop service and had a welcome bottle of red Bulgarian wine that we really enjoyed. Very central and walkable near beach. Great stay.

Blood on the floor

In general the hotel was good, but half way through my stay something happened that made me uncomfortable. I went down to breakfast and when I returned I found a contractor and cleaning lady in my bathroom (I think putting tape on the shower). I wasn’t expecting this so would have preferred warning that there would be a contractor. When they left, I went into the bathroom and noticed lots of drops of blood on the floor. I phoned down to reception to ask for someone to clean it, and when the cleaning lady and the contractor came back, they proceeded to have a heated argument in front of me. I don’t speak Bulgarian so don’t know what was said. Then when they both left, I went into the bathroom but there was still drops of blood on the floor so I had to call the cleaning lady back. Finally, when it was mostly clean, she left again. I wasn’t brave enough to call her back again to fully clean it so just made sure I didn’t step on that part of the floor. The whole experience left me feeling very uncomfortable and I didn’t receive an apology or acknowledgment from the hotel, except from a brief “sorry for the inconvenience” when I rang reception initially. Shame it ruined an otherwise nice hotel experience.

Good place to stay in Varna

Had a really good room with balcony.
Quiet and spacious.
Good location for a number of places nearby. Main centre is not too far to walk to.
Good pool and spa included for guests.

Parking can be limited, there is Blue zone out front and also Hotel car park. If you can the Blue Zone is likely cheaper, the reception staff were really helpful offering advice and sorting the parking.

The rooms were very spacious, brand new, and even though they were facing to the main street there was no sound coming from outside. We had a long drive from Brasov, Romania and needed the rest after such a long trip and I should say that we all slept like a baby.
Our check in was fast, smooth and there was a bottle of white wine waiting for us in our room. As a great fan of Bulgarian wines, I really liked the present.
Besides, we had a nice breakfast with different types of egg, selections of Bulgarian cheese, cold cuts, and freshly baked pastries. Next time I go back to Varna, the first hotel I will check will be Rosslyn Dimyat for sure.

The good: staff was friendly and helpful, good location, near city centre, the sea park is at the hotel’s doorstep. The views from the higher floor sea rooms are amazing, room was spacious. Nice spa. Good breakfast.
The bad: no english tv channels apart from one obscure news channel ( but many in russian, few italian and german). the TV was not smart, unable to use netflix. The welcome wine bottle was delivered opened, which is unhygenic and a waste in case you dont want to drink it at that moment. The front desk manager added insult by hinting that the reason they dont deliver the bottle with bottle opener is so customers dont steal it. Gym opens late, for early starters 10am is not good.

Заказан был стандартный номер,сделали нам апгрэйд на Deluxe.Номер большой с панорамными окнами с видом на парк и море.Завтрак нормальный,но не супер.Были удевлены полным отсутствием разных видов корнфлекса и егуртов,но в любом случае голодным не останитесь.Уборка каждый день,но странная-чашки оставались не мытыми.До моря 700 метров по парку-офицерский пляж,до центра 10 мин пешком.Рекомендую гостиницу.

Staff was very helpful. They upgraded us to a suite with a view on the 12th floor and it was a great and comfortable suite with an amazing view. Breakfast was tasty and there was quite a variety of things to choose from. The location of the hotel is just across the Sea Garden and very close to the beach and many restaurants. We’ll definitely stay there again.

It was definitely a corrective experience!!!
It started badly, and after the intervention of the reception manager, a positive turn began!!
Everything was with a smile and an understanding that we were the guests and that we wanted to be satisfied.
At the end of the day, we were upgraded to a better room with a balcony, and the stay was excellent!
I must praise the reception manager, Ekaterina.
She was attentive and empathetic, for that a huge thank you!!
We will definitely recommend the hotel and of course we will get there very soon... literally in a few days!!!

The hotel itself is in an excellent location. Easy to get to with public transportation. The breakfast is very good but I would be happy if they made an omelette. All in all a variety of good foods. The spa is a bit disappointing because I was expecting a heated pool. The room is of a very high standard, but remember that room service is not available at night. All in all a hotel that is worth the price and we really enjoyed it.

Made reservations almost 6 months in advance of our travel and spoke to the front desk via Orbitz messaging and email in the weeks leading up, yet we were told at check in they would not honor our reservation. The front desk staff denied ever hearing of the Orbitz website nor having any record of our communications. At nearly midnight, we had to find different accommodations because this hotel did not recognize our Orbitz reservation.

Good bus transportation ($0.6) to the Cathedral or city center (4 stations) or north suburb area (use bus 9, or 109, 0r 409) Bus number 41 goes to the 2 big malls of the city or direct bus to even the Airport. Next to a big supermarket and small street restaurant. 15 minute walk to the commercial area. Good breakfast and spacious room. Kind workers. No hot water Jaccuzzi, but swimming pool and gym is ready.

Superior hotel with very friendly staff. Room was very nice, spacious. Housekeeping was invisible and perfect. Dinner was in the large foyer/bar, and was very tasty. Breakfast was stellar, with wide selection. VIP welcome card and gift were nice. One note (just for clarification): Room page on Hotels.com indicates \"1 Free spa service for 2 per day\" for VIP members...this means free use of the hotel's very nice pool/sauna/steam room, which is free for all guests (1 hour reservation windows). Massages, facials, and other \"services\" cost the regular fare, but all was worth it. Very enjoyable stay!

This is recorded as a VIP property. The VIP offer is supposed to allow a free spa treatment. When you ask for this you are told it means spa access not treatment - which all guests get. In summary there is no VIP….

Location is ok for Varna. Nothing in the immediate vicinity but 5 mins away you can reach the seaside and the park.

Breakfast is basic.

Great vacation in the center of Varna

We enjoyed our stay a lot! The room is very big and spacious designed. Comfortable bed, nice balcony with spectacular view. The stuff of the hotel is very friendly and professional. Although the breakfast was very basic we were satisfied with it. The only defect of the room is non darkening shadows on the windows. In the end we will definitely recommend this hotel and will be back:)
