Although we did not have time to enjoy the pool or spa...both looked great and were easily accessible. The staff was exceptionally accommodating. The food in the restaurant was nicely prepared, tasted great and was in more than sufficient quantity. The complimentary continental breakfast was excellent and more than sufficient to support the day's activities. I would definitely book here again.

The rooms and properties were very nice and well maintained. We found the dining service to be less than want we expected, especially the continental breakfast where we were never served at the same time and had to keep asking for parts of it. Overall the staff was extremely friendly and we were able to walk into town from the property (on a large hill). The AC in the room worked very well and the balcony was nice to sit out on even for the garden side. The pool was very nice (didn’t try the spa).

It began with the driver that picked me up from the airport. He didn't take my baggage from the car prior to checking in, but he conveniently assisted a European couple with great enthusiasm once arriving at the hotel. The bed was incredibly hard. It felt like I was sleeping on bricks. I tried to get the free continental breakfast, but I was running out of time to take the ferry to Bequia. So I thought. I left the dining area. Another European couple sitting next to me was served before me, even though I arrived before them. The same European couple was taking the ferry as well. They were late to the car service that was en route to the ferry. Another driver refused to leave them even though it was 9:05 am. The ferry departed at 9:30 am. Then, the driver had the nerve to apologize to me for not leaving earlier. I would NEVER and I mean NEVER patronize that hot, racist mess of a business. If you are a person of African decent, DO NOT and I mean DO NOT spend your money here! Half of the staff will acknowledge you. The remainder will only converse with White Europeans. DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION!!!

Position and location fantastic; above the bustle but still very much in Kingstown with easy access to the ferries and port.

Highly recommend whether you're passing through or staying a little while - great, caring, kind service at all hours of the day. I spent a little over 2 days here, kind of stuck without a my belongings & everyone was so kind & understanding with me. They even had a soup waiting for me when I arrived even because of the incredible late delay from the airline - too kind! For breakfast, the omelet is very good if you want to pay for it otherwise the continental is good. Cannot recommend the seafood boloñesa enough! So good!! Dinner can be a little pricey, but you can use the light menu items as well. Thank you to everyone on staff, highly recommend this place

We stopped in Kingstown for 2 nights before heading to Bequia. Grenadine House was perfect - an oasis overlooking the city and harbour; steeped in history dating back to 1765. Our room was lovely, a bit small, but so comfortable and included a harbour view balcony.

This beautiful boutique hotel is easily walkable to many locations including:
- the Botanical Gardens - a must see and take a guided tour
- the historic churches in downtown Kingstown
- downtown Kingstown and the markets
We arrived on election day. The following day was a national holiday. Huge celebration and festive environment.

The staff at Grenadine House were outstanding. Isola and her team were kind, professional and welcoming at every interaction. Our meals in their dining room and on the picturesque terrace were wonderful. We enjoyed the pool as an escape from the heat.

If you're visiting Kingstown, would highly recommend that you choose Grenadine House. Would love to return.

Room was nice and so were the ameneties. It's a nicely looked after property in a decent location. The staff weren't particularly attentive. E.g. bought their bbq grill mean for $40, asked for cutlery multiple times and eventually had to take it from another table with food having gone cold. Also had to ask the staff multiple times to order drinks.

Our stay at The Grenadine House was absolutely amazing! It wasn’t even planned — I had lunch with a friend who was staying there and was so impressed by the service (special shoutout to Keisha!) that my husband and I decided to book a room for the rest of our trip. Everything on the menu was delicious, and the location is perfect — just about a 10-minute walk to town, and also within walking distance to the botanical gardens and the stadium. Beautiful views, great service, and wonderful hospitality. We’ll definitely be back! Again Keisha was great!!!! Made us feel like home

The bed and the furniture in my room was trash. My butt sunk into the old rattan chair , the metal frame bed was rusty with broken, the bed was hard and uncomfortable. I kept turning all night to relieve the pressure on my hips. The outside and the grounds are beautiful. The staff were wonderful. The owner of this hotel needs to upgrade the inside with new furniture

We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful 3-night staycation for a local wedding during Vincymas. The staff is friendly and helpful, bed super comfortable, breakfast and all food (and local juices) was delicious. Great location- including just a short walk to the Botanical Gardens. We loved everything about our stay. The hospitality was phenomenal - with staff sharing some local spices, culinary wisdom and delicacies. So much appreciated! We just extended our stay and look forward to coming back again.

This is a unique small boutique hotel. The taxi I had arranged from the airport to the hotel never showed up even though I had the confirmation in writing. The welcome drink was never delivered to the restaurant for me. My room had water on the bathroom floor when I checked in. I waited over 75 minutes for two tacos to be served. Sounds bad so why did I give it 5 stars?! I gave it five stars because the hotel was actually very quant. It was kept pretty clean for being an older building. The people were lovely and nice. It was a convenient location. The food was very good. It was quiet and relaxing. The view was lovely. Looking at the island I felt like this was a gem and I was happy I selected it. The people knew my name after day one and each time I returned I was warmly welcomed. I would recommend it.

Oh please don’t stay at this hotel. The pictures look good but the reality is different. The place smells like mold, the pool area is neglected and old (you’re on your own to find dry cushions), and breakfast will take 30 minutes (if it arrives at all). Reception staff seems to be absent most of the time and when you ring the bell someone might shout at you from the restaurant (and the cab that you asked for might not arrive at all). Worst of all was the mattress and pillows. If the room wasn’t 200 USD a night I wouldn’t have written this review but at this price tag I expect some value and service. Sorry and thank you.

We stayed here for one night after arriving early evening from the UK ahead of our ferry crossing to Bequia the following morning. Staff were very welcoming and our room was spacious and perfectly adequate for a short stay but we found the bed extremely uncomfortable. The pillows were very thin and the mattress was lumpy and unsupportive. Breakfast the next morning was great and whilst the pool area appeared tired, it was pleasant to sit in the sun until it was time to leave for our ferry. Good location for Kingstown amenities and port.

I’ve visited SVG many times as a business traveler and stayed at another property without issues. This time around I chose Grenadine house since it’s close to my office.

The first surprise was finding Bop and Off sitting on the side table. My room was filled with mosquitoes and I wanted to leave the first night. I did not sleep that night. In 2024 a guest finds Bop and Off in their room? Come on guys!! The next morning my colleague sprayed the room upon my pick up and I prayed there won’t be any Boo smell in the room upon my return since I’m allergic to high smelling sprays. Allergies must be taken into consideration before placing insecticides in a hotel room.

I was so disappointed to find a room with outdated furniture and decor, old fraying mats on the floor and a cable service that never worked in the 7 nights I stayed there. Suffice it to say, I will not be returning. On my final night I wanted some tea, only to discover there was no adapter to plug the kettle into.

Can do better especially for the price. Just disgraceful. Happy to be home!!

We had breakfast on the first day and the breakfast which came with the package wasn’t even enough. We ordered a breakfast from the menu and the paid breakfast portion was just as small. I’ve never seen fruit cut so small and thin in guest service.

Maybe something to consider for improvement especially when competing with international standards.

Grenadine House is an old historical house circa 1765, built for the British administrator of the islands. We loved our room and even more, the view from our balcony. The key to the inroom safety deposit box looked domewhat different. Service was great with everyone being so gracious & helpful. The restaurant served scrumptious dishes, albeit pricy. The only obvious con is it's far from the beach. We'd stay there again if we find ourselves in Kingstown again.

Grenadine House is a lovely characterful property in a wonderful position overlooking bustling Kingstown. We stayed for seven nights and used it as a base to see the island, with transportation and guides easy to arrange via the hotel. The staff at the hotel are super friendly and helpful, and the hotel is both a great place to relax in as well as it doing good food, plus it’s just a walk to the botanical gardens or into the bustling town.

Booked a 2 night stay here on our way to Bequia Beach Hotel (partner hotel).
We had a lovely stay in this hotel with lots of charm - rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. West Indies Bar was a pleasant hangout for a drink. Breakfast was good and filling. We also ate lunch and dinner in the hotel. The meal we had in the restaurant was excellent - good choices and very tasty.
Only downside was the mosquitoes but each room had room spray and body protection.
Would not hesitate to stay here agai.

I had booked a massage for the evening I got in, around 6.30, but the spa staff decided to leave earlier so no luck. Food was good.
